Romanian guy giving the best gold advice(I don't think finding right thai women without speaking thai is easy at all 😂😂), I am also curious if guys ask women's age and girls ask men's income. Would be interesting to observe. Some cultures find it straight forward to talk about it since it is an indication of seriousness but also a grey zone of people's values

I agree with the fatigue of dating apps. Getting people into face-to-face environments is a solid way to improve dating then being in a relationship.

Dating in Thailand has taken years off my life. Most toxic thing I’ve ever experienced.
Yea don’t be surprised if a Thai girl is seeing multiple men at the same time and they lie about it. I think it’s just a cultural thing, maybe saving face, but yea unless you’re her boyfriend, she’s likely to be seeing multiple guys and not really being upfront about it. Well some do continue doing that after having a bf but 🤷🏻♂️ kinda the culture out here. Always looking to upgrade if you know what I mean eiei.
By “cultural thing” you mean they are morally beneath us.

As observed by a couple of yr interviewees, I have met a lot of Thai woman who were looking for a farang partner however as an overweight bald retiree I do have to say it is difficult to find one who is interested in my mind and my body, in fact if they were interested in either it would do me at this stage.

As far as I know Farang means foreigners. I only know that because one of my favorite free running teams is in Thailand based in Bangkok I believe. They they are named team Farang.

Most common things i've heard from living here almost 2 years is that western women struggle with dating here, and also that Thai women say Thai men don't flirt with them often. And maybe from the more bitter western women that Thai women are more "submissive", which i havent found to be true. I agree with the guy at 5:30, if you're a good looking westerner, Bangkok is a dream to date in...... it's so easy.

So what's your perspective/experience? It would be helpful if you state that from the start instead of just blindly denying it. Thai women seeking a literal 'farang' (white foreigner) is well-known, and it's certainly been my experience too (as someone who ISN'T white).

@@137dylan First you need to separate the cream of the crop already taken thai model types whom westerners will never get near, from the type you'll meet: girls unwanted by asian guys (not hot enough, many problems) who have no choice but to find an unwitting farang for problem solving and companionship. Chinese looks and Korean culture is the trend and what Thailand considers attractive these days. A hi-so local boy is always prized too. Farangs are way down on the last resort list, just a step above Indians and Africans.

@TreakGG - As a Thai-American growing up in the US, I used to prefer white girls over Asian girls but now that I am older, I did a 180-degree turn and now I only date Asian women. After 40, white women age horribly! They wrinkle faster and they gain weight. Just look at white women who were hot in their 20s and 30s, then compare them now at 50+! It is night and day.
