In this video I wanted to check out some more YOMI Hustle mods, and I tried to focus on some more unique characters with something a little different about their playstyle.

That Crossbones is what I'm talking about for sidescroller potential. Imagine playing as him in a sidescroller where you fight boss versions of the assists to unlock them as your own summons. Or the flipside where you still fight them, but its Crossbones using them that is the final boss at the end. I could also see Bard as a very technical sidescroller where enemies are designed with different note combos in mind.

All around great mods. My favorites have gotta be Crossbones and Engineer. Love how Engineer is an archetype like the vanilla crew.
A few that i would recommend you check out is brawler, nomad, and John "Hustle" Yomi, three incredibly broken characters that are (almost) always a treat to play
John Yomi is my worst enemy
Nomad is a *beast*. Massive damage moves. Apotheosis spam. He no diffs Boss.
@@GammaYT_ if you haven't tried Bonehead you should, its sans but for some reason a busted melee fighter.

Sick video dude. I'll def be checking out bard. I got a charecter suggestion for ya too. Pancake Lady. Kinda just a classic Yomi charecter, but the part that fun is the coins. And the pan noises.

A mod I recently discovered is “Sledge Queen” it’s based off a boss from a game called Decaying Winter and it looks pretty good!

I think you should check out the RHG modpack characters. They’re all really unique and they’re based off of classic stickfigure fighters from my childhood.
You know who I want as a character? I want the Imitator from "The Imitator Collab 2". That stick guy was a real badass even if he lost. I'd be awesome if someone could make him as a character. Whether he would copy his enemies abilities or just use the abilities he copied in the animation, I don't know but I know it would be cool either way. Though I do think it would be cooler if he just swapped between fighting styles like near the end of the fight of the animation.
yoyo from the rhg event is pretty fun, gildedguy from the same event has amazing animations and references to the original gildedguy videos.
I’ve been looking for a character like engi that focuses on placing buildings and stuff I’ve also been looking for a character like bard without having to literally write code like with hacker

I didn't watch this video when it was uploaded but that kether was me at 7:12 . I didn't know what was happening becouse I never expirienced that before. (sorry for my bad English since I'm Italian)
so the bard is just nine from blazblue basically, I might try them since I could never memorize all of nine's routes for her spells
Yo man, love your videos, only YOMIH content creator that makes showcases for the characters. I think all of InklessBrush characters are worth a video (all together or on their own).

You really REALLY need to do Kali - Red mist dude. The character puts a hella lot of pressure and is quite swiftly and satisfying to use, if you do it, it would be awesome, thanks.

As ive seen from your videos you like non-flashy fun characters, with this id suggest to you alchemist or bonehead (sans) really fun not super broken but still powerful characters

Dude, the Bard is almost like Invoker from DOTA but has more combinations.
from what I can tell, Egineer's battery meter slowly drains as each turn plays out (and it also unfortunately drains during character intros), however in my experience, only the Taser and Voltage Sweep seem to increase the battery meter
and if you're still taking modded character suggestions, I'd like to see a review for Neon White, and maybe Candyman who is from Lethal League, though his moves are almost all a ?
hustle also increases it, i thought it was the only way

For the sake of simplicity, I don’t change the background and keep it plain. However, the water you see comes from the mod called “water” something, can’t exactly remember the name.

Psycho is a pretty good mod
unless crossbones got nerfed recently his melee attacks do NOT have a long startup, shi is as fast if not faster than most rushdowns
I could be wrong in some situations. From my experience, going head to head with melee attacks would usually result in the opponent having quicker frame moves. At the very beginning, moves like Swing can be fast enough.
