In this video, we compare Lagos and Gaborone. Though small, Gaborone is a city with sound emergency and a social system that caters to its residents. It boasts decent infrastructure and an above-average African security apparatus.
Lagos, on the other hand, is total chaos. Apart from inserting your debit card into an ATM, which gives you what's in your bank account, nothing else works in Lagos. It is the perfect definition of chaos.

Lagos is not the most populated in the world, stop using population as excuse for failure. Chinese cities are way more populated yet livable. Lagos is rotten buildings. Nothing works in lagos. Everything works only on paper

Wow! Thanks for your positivity to Botswana. Don't down Nigeria too much though. It clearly has a lot to improve but Nigerians are hard workers and ambitious. Lets us promote all Africa, hold its hand and will it to move forward.

Why? Because everything said here about Nigeria is simply the BLUNT TRUTH! Only complacent Nigerians who're part and percel of the problem will have a problem hearing this facts

Tranquility in traffic is mostly a function of population. Imagine you're on Indian, Brazilian or Mexican roads. Experience will tell that population matters on road tranquillity, especially in developing countries.

I have been to all the countries applied in your example; Nigeria is a nutcase. The United States and China have a larger population than Brazil, while China has a comparable population to India. However, driving in those countries is smooth and civil. India may not be as smooth, that much I can give you.
Nigeria's failure has nothing to do with population. Even though London, Moscow, and New York each have more cars than Lagos, the motorists and traffic in these cities exhibit complete civility. I have driven in all of those countries and cities mentioned.

I live in one of those places you mentioned. In fact, I live in one of the best places on the island. They are as shitty as anywhere else. Nigerians are urinating on the streets, emitting a tormenting stench from the open gutters filled with various types of filthy litter.
Load shedding is a daily occurrence. You may find Ikoyi impressive because you haven't been elsewhere. I have traveled the world, and Nigeria is substandard. I am sorry, but I refuse to sugarcoat Nigeria's abysmal failure.

Minimum wage in lagos is 20 dollars (#30,000)per month. Minimum wage in almost every other African country is way higher than lagos. Nigeria is the greatest country in africa with statistics. If you read what Nigerian writes, you will fall in love with Nigeria but upon your arrival, starting from the international airport as you drive down to your hotel you will be disappointed. Zero standard of doing things. Everyone one you meet is out to outsmart you, starting from border control officer right to the bus driver. Every corner in nigeria is below third world standard. Lagos is a smelling city. What they show you of nigeria is where the top 0.1 percent of Nigerians live. In summary, nigeria may be one of the biggest economy in Africa but surely the worst place to live in Africa excel those countries that are currently at war or just recovering from war in the 15 years. Every other peaceful nation in Africa is better than nigeria

Parce que la migration des Bantous a commencé au niveau du Cameroun et du Nigeria. Les États de Cross River, Akwa Ibom et Benue font partie du territoire Bantou. Il faut lire un peu plus sur l'histoire de la migration des Bantous.
