As a Kenyan, I would say Nigerians are great people but few among them are destroying the image their great country. Like for example, Dubai no longer issue visas to Nigerians, Qatar limits Nigerians from their country. But why? Kenya is having problems with Nigerians living in Nairobi. If Nigerian government won't curb this guys damaging the good image of their country, it will be very hard to host Nigerians in other countries. Mark my words.
Nigerians will be humbled by these comparisons of African capital cities because they always think they have arrived when, in fact, they have not even started. Tribalism, indiscipline, corruption and bad leadership have taken a heavy dent on the potentials of a country which boasts the most creative, competitive, hospitable and hardworking people in the continent. I hope that rather than Nigerians showing a feeling of anger at these honest comparisons, they will take the lessons in good faith and work more purposefully to overcome the vices, negativity and shortcomings that have disadvantaged them among global citizens. Thank you, Bantu, for remaining bold, frank, objective, unfazed and impartial in your analysis of the characteristics of African cities and the lifestyles of our citizens. Nigerian youths must work dispassionately and without ethno-religious bias to rebuild, salvage and transform our beloved country by ensuring we get the right persons and characters into our national leadership positions, starting with the president and governors.

Yes, Nairobi and most parts of Kenya experience very cold season between June-August. Right now (July) we are clad in heavy clothing! It's a peculiar contradiction considering that Kenya strides the equator hence the hot tropical weather but still got winters! The altitude matters.
West Africa is on average only 6hrs away from the 3rd biggest industrial capital of the world, mainland Western Europe. West Africa's beach lands are far more naturally attractive than beachlands in other regions of Africa. West Africa is far richer than East Africa in terms of natural resources; Congo DRC is in Central, Southern Africa. West Africa has some of the most internationally educated and exposed people in Africa. But where does West Africa go wrong, where does West Africa get it wrong. West Africa gets it wrong by embracing a decadent culture that stretches back centuries, to the days of slavery. A culture that promotes ultra selfishness, views civility as a sign of weakness and a criminal opportunity to take advantage of the uninitiated. It is also xenophobic to go to other regions of Africa and string them up drugs, turn their daughters to prostitutes, their sons to junkies, rob them, kidnap them, things you would never do to your own. So hatred of other Africans is also a part of this decadent culture. The biggest favour we can do our fellow Africans is stay in our own countries, and marry our own.
Accra is best compared to abuja and lagos. None has the features of a modern city. A modern City center must have well tarred roads, tightly lined up with well serviced modern buildings with no walking space between two buildings, designed to be Accomodation apartment for working class , shopping, offices, hotels, dinning, financial services and more Every building in the city center must be accessible by walking pedestrians. No gate, no fencing. Example see the city center of Durban Nairobi Capetown, downtown Manhattan, New York, Paris, Tunis Joburg, port Elizabeth, Praia in Cape Verde , Must have steady power supply, emergency services, stable pipe borne water supply. Nigeria and Ghana don’t have a city that matches these features.🎉 Nigeria and Ghana don’t have a single modern city center

How do you call a city (Nairobi) a home to a few specific tribes? Am sorry but you have a very myopic and primitive perspective in describing a city. Nairobi is home to KENYANS (All tribes included) and other international occupants call this city their home. It's a city not a regional town, built by collective efforts of all tribes that reside in Kenya. I hope you will correct your perspective next time. Sorry if I sounded rude but I just honestly didn't like it.
@NorekG1453 Nairobi is indigenous to the ethnic groups mentioned in the video. When you talk about a place, referring to its inhabitants' indigeneity is often evoked. I'm not sure what to do with your feelings, but the facts are indifferent to them. No one in their right mind would dispute that anyone could call Nairobi their home as long as they reside there. Let your brain do the thinking, not your feelings.
You are wrong, Nairobi is home of Kenyans not few tribes you mentioned. The area was occupied by maasai be4 colonization. The name Nairobi comes from maasai word. And means place of cool waters. Your research is myopic. Nigerians are not considered wealthy in Kenya. But south sudanese.

ghana has only accra, kenya we have many big cities in fact mombasa on the beach is the tourist hub of kenya then there is nakuru city, kisumu at lake victoria and they are all developed with malls too
Nigeria has even more and bigger cities than Ghana, Kenya combined. Many just love to hate Nigeria.
How much is rent in Nairobi for small room with toilet and Bath
Usd 80-120 in a good commuter area.
dont visit nairobi we dont want more nigerians here make your country work

seriously Nairobi vs Nigeria?? Compare Nairobi vs Abuja?? I like Nairobi, and 'am proud that at least they have some development by western standards, because that's what you all want but does everywhere in Kenya look like Nairobi?
Just google or youtube search Kisumu..then Nakuru...3rd and 4th kenyan cities..then compare them with your nigerian cities
Not Masai Kikuyu and kamba only
Kenya is centralised in Nairobi and Mombasa but Ghana is decentralised
Kenya is decentralized, in other words it is devolved. Kenya is not Nairobi or Mombasa, has other cities that can rival Accra.
Im Ghanaian.. Ghana is more centralise , everything is all about Accra Gosh 😢 Kenya is more developed

Winter? Nairobi and winter?
@mediacare6744
Yes, winter in Nairobi.
That was a lot to decipher. Thanks for stopping by.
Accra doesn't come anywhere close to Nairobi. I won't even bother watching this.
@dannosh4529
Agree wholeheartedly.
How can you compare Accra city with zoo
Nairobi is far better than Accra you can't compare Accra with nairobi
U are comparing Nairobi vs Accra, why involving Nigeria into this comparison. Have u been to Nigeria? & do u know asides Abuja & Lagos, all Nigerian state capitals are very beautiful & developed! My dear, not everywhere in Nigeria that has blackout. U can’t compare Nigeria with so many African countries. Forget what u see online, come & see with ur eyes & stop saying shitty things about Nigeria when u know nothing about Nigeria….

Thanks for making me laugh, though.
Ghana is a village compared to Kenya, they are number 10 in Africa
This is the biggest insult you can give to Nairobi . ❤to Ghana
Why do u think so, explain
Nairobi is beautiful than Accra. Good road networks and high rise buildings.

Because we are a Nigerian channel. Contrasting our home country is very relevant.
@BantuCityDiaries Oga you no get point, you should have left Nigeria out of your Accra and Nairobi comparison, that's the least you should have done. At least keep your Nigerian hatred aside for a minute. On overall assessment, Abuja even has better roads than Nairobi

You are comparing Accra/Abidjan /Dakar to Nairobi so why talk about Nigeria.

Firstly, I was comparing Accra to Nairobi. Secondly, I can include any city or country as I deem fit.
Nigerians still think Nigeria is better crazy. There is nothing there my guy
1. Infrastructure: Nairobi is ahead 60:40
2. Digital market: 50:50

4. Quality of life. Accra tops Nairabi.
5. Death rate: Accra is lower
6. Calmness and peace: Accra tops
7. Quality Education: Accra tops
8. Interchanges: Accra tops
9. Africanism and cultural pride: Accra tops. In Accra no protocol Europeans or any race, Ghanaians first or all treated equally.

😢😂😂😂Am a Kenyan and I have been to Ghana... NAIROBI is the Capital City of Africa....

@davincimaths9492 Look, I have been to many african cities, and I'm not disputing the facts that Nairobi has made some strides, Nairobi is just ok, apart from a few areas which are great, most are like anywhere in Africa. Btw Karen is a nice residential area. To me, the standard of living in Accra and Nairobi is basically the same. Accra also has few nice areas, and all are junk likewise Nairobi.
Accra is village Compared with luanda😂
Boss , how is a country with smaller land size, yet populous any achievement ??
How do you call a city (Nairobi) a home to a few specific tribes? Am sorry but you have a very myopic and primitive perspective in describing a city. Nairobi is home to KENYANS (All tribes included) and other international occupants call this city their home. It's a city not a regional town, built by collective efforts of all tribes that reside in Kenya. I hope you will correct your perspective next time. Sorry if I sounded rude but I just honestly didn't like it.
@NorekG1453
Nairobi is indigenous to the ethnic groups mentioned in the video.
He is filthy wrong in most of his research but his ego and arrogance can't allow him to humble and listen to what we kenyans ourselves are telling Him. He thinks he can understand Kenya our country better than we do. I was to subscribe but then....@@fredrickwasonga9091

The Easten, Southern, and other regions in africa got their Colonial Masters into plannimg and building building their citizens for them.
Kenya is no expecting of them. GHANA on the other hand dis not get that chance because, when others were relaxed with their masters, Gh was busy pushing them out.
In the western region too, Cote d'ivoire got that chance too. Nigeria got the former capital Lagos planned and built too but Abuja was done by Nigerians.
Before u dispute go and do your search on when your citizens were build.
Ghana build it their own city. Ghana lacks proper planning of the city. It was not planned well
The only plan city in Nigeria is Abuja, British didn't do anything in Lagos
