There's honestly no way around it. You'll only get as far as the algorithm allows you to. People will deny it's a thing, but I've seen far too many instances of certain things happening for it to be a coincidence, and that ruins the game. I won't play open league anymore, only the secondary cups. They're a lot more fun, you don't see the exact same fn Pokemon every single match, and while you still get countered, it's not near as bad as in the open leagues.

@@111TheViper Highest I've reached is 2109 I believe, and then I started getting countered into oblivion, every set. I just don't have the motivation to attempt a grind to 2500 when I know what I'm going to have to deal with. It's too frustrating. Lol.
Registeel is a complete monster. Haven't seen something like that dominate so much in a long time. Even the best fighters like Medichan and Scrafty barely beat it. Insane.

good thing for you there's a medi spotlight hour this month. should be able to finish your mon. I feel you on them charge TM's. especially with Mew. Mew will eat a minimum of 25 on the TM roulette

That’s why I lost CMP to a talonflame early. I already has the hydro canon charged and ready but the talonflame won by using brave bird I just kept thinking: how does a shadow swampert loses CMP against a talonflame?
This is my main argument. The mechanics are off cause I’ve banked moves countless times and come in and before I get to slam my move button.. they’ve already thrown so playing strategically and banking moves is no longer the best thing to do I’ve learned. Throw the move while you have it

Switching in takes one turn, if You switch at the same time as your oponent is trowing a Charge move You can't cmp. Now You need to switch in one turn earlier to make a CMP in the next turn.

Great video nice to see some meta things so I get an better idea of what is likely to meet out on the battlefield. Is it possible that you have a team to showcase that does well against this team. Or is it just that good that nothing really does well against it
I've been climbing like crazy with (s)Walrein, Obstagoon and (s)Nidoqueen.....Obstagoon also have Gunk Shot...it never gets shielded by fairys when I'm able to get to it
The struggle is real! You know if Zs last few videos have been around the 2300 elo range he to is struggling to gain elo and rank. Tough season for sure but always enjoy the content! Good luck battlers!
I know he didn’t hit the last legendary opportunity and he’s such an amazing battler. He does take a lot of time away and doesn’t play nearly the amount of battles you can but surprising with so much knowledge and skill still doesn’t hit legend.
Or he just isn't as good as everyone thinks he is. The only way to gain elo consistently is to use meta teams like the one he shows in the video. Teams that require no skill that only level 40+ players and try hards have access to

I'm curious as to how you got a Registeel with 0/7/9 IVs. I haven't played for very long but I would've thought you'd have to raid for Registeel and it would have an IV floor that would make it impossible to get those IVs.
@@4sho136 Good answer. (Both accounts have to have Registeel in their Pokedexes, to cut the stardust cost from 1,000,000 t0 20,000.) So, one account does Registeel raids, then trades them to you. You will only get 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 for a 0 Attack stat - because that's only possible when trading with a 'Friend.' After one trade, you will be 'Good Friends' and then the minimum IV roll is 1. So, some substantial luck (or effort 😉😁) is involved. 0-7-9 is really nice, compared to getting Registeel from a raid (presuming 10-10-10 as the minimum IVs there). But it's still rank 662 with 1476 CP for great League, so could be better, i.e. as with 0-7-7 which is rank 49, and a CP of 1499. 10-15-15 is rank 1140.
Why are you using 3/5/15 instead of a hundoo? Does it give special stats in pvp when not having full stats? Just recently started pokemon go again so an explanation would be appreciated

The second one ... succendly wigglytuff on the back becomes a meta choice. And then it became lag tempest. I went 2 to 3 and then 4 to 1. I like your content, but i can clearly see that the game works differently from you than from me.
i’m not that new on gbl but i’m not the most vet one either and i usually win 3/5 - 4/5 of my rounds, but i wanna know why people don’t use straight 3 star pokémon on their teams? like he’s running a 0/11/2 mandibuzz, like why not run a 12/14/14 with the same move set
Its complicated but the attack stat rises the cp too much, thus the pokemon having less stats in total , usually 0/15/15 is the best pvp iv as its the most "stats" there are better explanation if you google it!
As you want as much hp/defence as you can and as low attack as you can for PVP (for example 0/15/15) the Registeel is fairly well ranked for the Great League, better than any raid-caught Registeel for sure. As for the Mandibuzz, it’s kind of the same thing, it’s better than a 10+ attack hatched Mandibuzz so you just go with it even if it has lower hp. Probably even hitting a few defence breakpoints aswell

I went on a 28 win streak with Venasur Gfisk and obstagoon if anyone wants to try something new. To many azus and swamperts. I run gunk shot on obstagoon
If you constantly see the same teams being run, you can guess at what they have in the back, but you won't know for sure until they bring it out, so you can't really read teams.
@@PengwinTamer Yeah or variations of the team. I was once fighting two dark types so I knew I was going to see a fairy. I've also seen someone use the bastio medi sableye team. So I guess you have to see how your opponent reacts to things like swapping unto something that's not a good counter or shielding a lot.

Or if they double shield a fairy and not swap out its likely a double/charm or a team with two or more fairy and grass types or stuff that just can't handle bug and poison.

I have a 97 iv registeel, is it worth using Elite fast tm for zap cannon?
The typing and moveset make it viable regardless of IV. With lock on, I don’t think CMP matters.
Any advice for a swap for Regi? I don't have it and who knows when it's gonna pop up again to get.

I lost 3 battles in a row just because I don't have a second charge move on my regi. It still brought a g Fisk down to 20% thing's a beast
I’ve been running a ranked team in Araquanid, Shadow Swampert, and Registeel. My only losses are usually misplays.

its 10% for sb, wc is 100%, its just luck, u can not see a buff/debuff in a day even if it has a chance to do so
