Ampharos is incredible. I run it with venu and charizard. I've won some matches by being hard walled. 2 shield amphy is dangerous

I agree it was good play but he wasn't walled at any stage in the first battle. The opponent brought counters, sure, but nothing that could do tons of damage with no reply.
I love these other cup videos because i get so tired of the regular great/ ultra league meta so to see what you top dogs play with is so entertaining because not only do we not get to see alot of these pokemon but we dont get to see them used to their full potential!!
Alolan Golem seems like it would have a lot of play in the meta with the ridiculous amount of charizard, Walrein, pidgeot, and everything else weak to rock/electric.
Also, these longer videos around 30 minutes (or more) are great. Keep ‘em coming!

@@rhidley8314 there's a difference between having play and being a viable option. In any case people have the freedom to do whatever they like.

I got legend and my oh my I couldn’t tell you how many times I faced teams you featured but was able to come on top 💪🏼
Yes it core breaks my charizard, swampert, and walrein.
Also ampharos is a good core breaker mine is 13-14-15 good against flyers giratinas cress etc even brutal swing takes 45%health if an full health swampert
I tried this team with shadow amphoras and went on a 10-0 streak thanks for this team
Try SWAMPERT(mudshot,hydro cannon, eq),Walrein(powder snow,Icicle spears,eq),togekiss(charm,ancient power,Flame thrower)
I got a 31 streak with this team

actually ran the same team but with chesnaught in the lead (with vine whip), i feel like chesnaught is also fun, but maybe not as strong as toxicroac

It was the first lead pick i had in this cup and ever since I have seen it more and more. Quite odd how far back its ranked.

Will you be doing any videos for love cup teams? I managed to get to 2394 with your abomasnow medicham Sableye team in GL (thanks for that video btw!) but I’ve since tanked in UL & ULP to 2167 so I may need love cup to make a desperate push to veteran! 😅 I’ll certainly try this team too though!

Brutal swing is way better than dragon pulse, I guess you don't want to lose a legacy move but I think DP is kinda useless, good team anyways, I will give it a try

Ok like seriously. I'm using this same team (keep trying because it worked here) and I'm being put up against pokemon I've never seen in the battle league before and getting obliterated. And there are people who don't think their algorithm is real. It absolutely is.
This team is meant for the Premier Cup, not open ultra league. You'll have a tough time there.

@@hypickel4278 to ever start with, it’s impossible to see a swampert with such moves. Second, ampharos doesn’t have enough dmg dealing move as considering swampert still resists electric move.

Just because the team doesn't do well for you right now doesn't mean the investment wasn't solid. All 3 are incredible in the Ultra League so in the long run it was worth it.

I've been running my shadow Ampharous before it got brutal swing. I would recommend it. It has play in open UL and Premier.

@@sorun4006 my current team is Ancient Power Aurorus/Shadow Claw,Ariel ace Golisopod/Thunder Punch, Brutal Swing Ampharos. Golisopod is a highly underrated safe in ULP.
