    Tried my first customs today. It was a little messy for a first timer, especially with the spray glue. I definitely recommend printing extra copies just in case. I think next time I might try using a glue stick instead. Overall, a pretty cool turnout once you get the hang of it

      I've had some people tell me they printed them at home and the ink smeared. My guess is it really just depends on how nice of a photo printer you have and the quality of the paper. You would still print them as 4x6s.

      if your printing on photo paper and its smearing then that means its A.)wrong side of paper , B)your printer settings arent correct c) the paper is meant for laser printer and your using an inkjet.. Im assuming it might be the printer settings arent being switched but i could be wrong.

    This does not look like a horrible method. 2 Decades back I tried making my own trading cards from home and I did a similar method but this actually looks like a great idea but I will change just one thing. That’s adding a little bit of extra room on that finding edge that you can use a paper cutter to cut that edge off at all sides of the card look at uniform. Since then I have actually been getting my cards printed add a printer on demand place.

    • @waxmuseumpodcast
      @waxmuseumpodcast  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah sometimes I cut them a little larger because it gives me more flexibility if needed. If I changed anything else, I would probably also use an acid-free adhesive. I don't know what these will look like years down the road.
