Most stores are picked clean but I’ve been finding a good amount of stock at stores you would not expect for example Walgreens (usually behind the counter) and Lowe’s both sell baseball cards
Y’all are supposed to check the front. At all of the targets there is a row right next to the checkout line that has all of the cards. Pokemon, Sports, Yugioh, etc.
@@bigcease2274 When retail is $4.49 a pack and the case hit is over $1300+ minimum on every set and the alt arts do $75+, I'd rather rip One Piece than any other retail product on the market including sports cards. Family Dollar has 5 card Panini Hoops packs with Yellow parallel guaranteed. Pulled a Wembie base tribute rookie, a bunch of relevant yellow RCs and a yellow Curry base off roughly $25. Should have just bought the whole gravity feed.
When I was using Fetty. I would boost baseball cards for this dude that would buy each box for 20$ . I started wondering how he was able to pay me so good. So here I am now , clean trying to learn the ways....
Back in 2020 during COVID boom and when retail was cheaper. You could make profit ripping because even base lamelo rookie was selling for like a $25 for donruss and $100+ prizm.
Based on the fact that your name is Rick Jones, I'd be willing to bet you're a boomer and projecting your lonliness on some guys enjoying their hobby and having fun. You people are incredibly easy to spot
My best retail pull was from a degen rip from walgrens 7.99 baseball packs, i end up pulling vladdy gurrero jr rookie auto prizm /100!😂 i was losing my mind 😂
From what I hear is that monopoly prizm had its last cycle so good luck when finding it because the actual board game is where you’ll find the packs at
Did you try the Walmart in American Canyon? The last time I was there was several months ago, but at the time it was mostly baseball and football...so it's been a while.
I bought 2 topps retail boxes 2024. I pulled foil Domingues, foil acuna and multiple Henry David. Second box was acuna 2024, volpe, Corbin carrol trophy and trout /999 So I ended up up +$55 lol. I’m going to see if I can trade those for Kobe, charizard, or jordan cards. Maybe some cash on top.
Me - that sold over 4,000 Topps Series 1 cards on Ebay - laughing at what you think those cards were going to sell for. The Heavy Lumber was the only card you'd make over $1 on. Stars of the MLB are inserts we give away to kids for free. Interesting on the Monopoly cards though. We have STACKS of them at Target here and no one buys them, but no baseball cards.
my targets and walmarts are stocked with boxes of sports cards.. they just sit… dont move.. there are even boxes from like 2022 on the shelf… I do not see any modern retail boxes worth the retail price.. i check ebay.. the last sold is like the price os the store price.. which means a 10 percent loss with ebay fees… I think card manufactures have a big problem with retail going forward unless they make some changes...
Have you? Tried flying into Canada. They're Meyers, has a 1000 foot long card area in Ontario. They sell all boxes for $5.I went up there and got ten thousand blaster boxes from one store
I just recently got into sports cards, why are retail boxes so frowned upon? do you just not get crazy hits or something? If I shouldn't get retail boxes then what should I get?
Obviously ripping is all about luck, and you guys had Leprechauns falling out your butts. Congrats. Because retail tends not to have guaranteed hits like hobby, which products you choose matter a lot if you are trying to maximize ROI.
Pull an ebay listing at 45 with free shipping means about 35 after fees. Dont listen to that BS folks. They would make about $5 on these if they sold just the boxes.
Exactly I see that wemby card being sold on eBay from between 8 dollars to a couple of hundred. But that’s what it is being sold for not what someone actually bought it for.
The best part of collecting/hunting is how much fun you have while ripping/doing it.
100%!
The best part of going to the casino is how much fun you have while playing the different games.
The expected return from retail boxes is quite literally somewhere around -90% lol

so whats the best way to get a return from card hunting? and what sport? baseball? basketball? football?
Not if you get the five finger discount
@@My_oh_facebuy individual cards that you believe could hold/go up in value
That is exactly how all the stores around me look like when I check for boxes.
Usually how it is for us here in the Bay Area

Rips like these are fun. Do more guys. 🙌🙌🙌
Definitely will!
I live in Oakland and you need to check the Barnes & Noble stores. They usually have their boxes behind the cash register.
Exciting hunt! Hope you had fun uncovering those retail boxes. Rips like these are a blast. Keep it up, guys!
Y’all are supposed to check the front. At all of the targets there is a row right next to the checkout line that has all of the cards. Pokemon, Sports, Yugioh, etc.
The answer is yes but only if you buy One Piece at retail.
That is true one piece is the way to go
What? That's stupid, I have one piece cards that are psa 10's and they won't sell. People want it for $25- $30 at the shows. Not worth it....

A breaker on Tik Tok opened like ten cases and the pattern to look for in finding the Wemby rookie is that Klay Thompson will always appear first
the uplifting music when you found the 2 monopolys was hilarious

Check Barnes and Nobles
Good idea!
Barnes and noble restocks on sundays
Ripping retail is fun, but absolutely the easiest way to LOSE money, not make money.
It's a lottery with especially bad odds
Agreed but it’s fun
so what do u suggets to rip to make money??

Gotta hit Barnes and nobles, but sometimes they only allow one pack or box per customer. They’re pretty stocked on all sports though
From what I hear is that monopoly prizm had its last cycle so good luck when finding it because the actual board game is where you’ll find the packs at
? after only 2 cycles no more blasters? are they moving onto football?
That first box of Prizm was crazy. You would have made better profit if that was the only box you had bought.
Can’t wait 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Great video man
Don’t forget Barnes & Noble bookstore too for boxes
Same as playing lottery but at least with cards you get some sort of return back even if it’s a few $, lotto you lose you lose
Did you try the Walmart in American Canyon? The last time I was there was several months ago, but at the time it was mostly baseball and football...so it's been a while.
You can find tons of cards at the cashier area
Super fun video, Troy. Love it.
Appreciate that!
Great video! 🤩👌🏼 I gotta try out those Monopoly Prizm next time! 🔥🔥🔥
Target sometimes puts cards in the toys section most my targets have them in the toy section in the back
u cracking me up going nuts for a $5 or $15 card.... its so fun aways!
The heavy lumber card with the texture is a case hit
Last month, I pulled a wenby deep space prizm. I feel like you have better chances with baseball.
We to walmart yesterday it was stocked bought 2 megas and 4 blasters of prizm basketball pulled a wemby ice wemby silver and amen thompson silver

Love the energy on the 15 dollar card 😂
I'm so glad you guys are teaming up. This is quality content.
'it's like the smallest target'... bigger than the biggest store we have in Belgium
Wow, the excitement.
I just use the scales in self checkout at Walmart.
Feels like UFC cards at the moment have the best odds at making your money back.
Is whatnot better than Ebay for selling cards?

Thanks for the Whatnot credit cant wait to watch yall. Your vids have helped me navigate selling cards, best in the game you are!

I watched a lot of unpacking, it seems like everyone is pulling Wemby RC including me. How many did Panini printed?

What makes them increase money? Pokemon I understand but sports cards no some much
Interesting all the RCs were in the same monopoly box
Ask target if they have them in back I do and they have them alot

I just got off of work... From Target and now I'm here lmao 🤣
Is center stage good because sometimes base cards have more than one value and also un updated comps
It’s good for a quick idea of comps. If you want 100% spot on, most recent. Might be worth going manual
Nice pulls!
Is there no profit in the nascar ones
Ain’t no way you pulled a heavy lumber OUT OF A BLASTER
My stores are mostly stocked but I rip for fun , not really to make cash.
Same I rip for the collection I have two jersey pieces and I’m happy I’m gonna start back again
The we r home honey got me laughing 😂
also what site do you use to see how much the cards are worth?
