Something worth mentioning- If you get all three to A+ support rank with each other, then use Caeda's Awakening Special with all three deployed in the same battle, Cordelia and Hinoka will replace the illusory Caedas in the attack, and make it the Triangle Attack. Doing this IS a badge. It's also worth noting that, to my knowledge, this was the first non-remake game to feature the Triangle Attack since Radiant Dawn, since the DS games were remakes, it was absent in Awakening and Fates, Heroes doesn't have it, and Shadows of Valentia is a remake of Gaiden (not that it's that easy to tell, to be honest.)
@@adamrhodes9533 I see, and no worries I just misread that part. Happens all the time when I'm browsing comments on my phone sorry for missing that. Anyways thanks for the info ~
I personally feel that you might not be giving the javelin throw attack enough credit. At least, when I use the Pegasus/Sky Knights, it's very much a staple of my attacking due to it's range.
So for Cordelia's Awakening Special, she notably summons in Ylissean Pegasus Knights, down to them always using the green color Ylisse tropes use for Adventure Mode... Meaning you can have her summon them to fight their own army. This is also worth noting because, along with Chrom and the others not knowing Validar, it shows that Chrom and the Shepherds were pulled from before Chapter 6 (and other context implied it was during chapter 2 when you returned to Ylissetol.)
The Pegasus knights are a strange bunch, I’ll give you that. However, I think you underestimate their potential; especially Caeda. Caeda is an absolutely amazing unit not just because of her amazing personal weapon, but also because of her really good stat spread. Her Lck stat is insanely high - one of the highest in the game - making her really good at running Luna and Lethality, which bring her damage output and KO potential up by a significant margin. She also has a really high Spd stat, so Galeforce is also an amazing option for her. Her personal weapon having armor and cavalry slayer is insane, and allows her to very easily take down Armored Knights, Paladins, and Guardian Knights, two of which she couldn’t easily (or at all) take down before. Hinoka suffers from having the most balanced stats of the three, with nothing that really stands out over the other two apart from Str and Def. Despite sounding alright, this actually makes her overall worse than the other two by a good amount. Having a Str and Mag stat that are equal, Cordelia has the same benefits/issues as Owain and Celica. Give her Resonating Power and Lone Wolf, and her initial damage output will be insane even without Luna. She also has the highest Skl of the three by quite a lot, which allows her to make more use of her combo attacks, special attacks, and weak point attacks. However, she has the lowest Lck stat of the three, so Luna and Lethality will not be as effective on her. This is a huge nerf to her potential, as she won’t be getting kills on captains and generals as quickly as Caeda. Their moveset isn’t as hard to control as you make it out to be. With only a few minutes of practice with them, I had mastered everything of theirs. You didn’t mention it in your video, but their dashing strong attack is really good. It’s like a slightly worse version of Camilla and Minerva’s dashing strong attack. I think Cordelia and Hinoka both sit in mid tier, but I think Caeda is a high tier character, maybe even a top tier. She has just the right stats and personal weapon to guarantee her a good place on any tier list.
I think what you're saying is fair, but remember that I am bringing these videos from my original channel, and not completely remaking them. Caeda's weapon wasn't even around when I made this guide originally, but had I been re-writing these now I would have certainly discussed it. I remember when I was the only defender of Pegasus Knights, its been interesting to see this shift in the community. Personally, I do think they have amazing potential, but I see that more in their support capabilities. They can be great fighters, no doubt, one of them was always a staple on my team so I got to know them very well, but I'm not trying to just look at them in a vacuum where Ryoma, Lyn, etc. don't exist. Had this game only let you bring one Warrior into battle, this guide would have been actually quite critical, but it doesn't, so I still believe my main point; of course they can get the job done, but I still think it's more effective on the battlefield as a whole to just use them where you must while mostly have them ferry some of the games best ground fighters around (especially in some of those crazy late-game fights).
Warriors Dojo I get what you’re saying. Despite being amazing on their own, pairing them up with a top tier unit like Ryoma, Lyn, Navarre, or Olivia is just so much better than just using them by theirselves. Not only do they cover their weaknesses, but they generally have much quicker moves and/or better attacks for a particular situation. At the same time, this also holds Cordelia back even more. Since she does best on her own, she will lose a lot of potential if you go the more optimal route of pairing her up with another unit. Owain doesn’t have this problem really, as his moveset, Spd, and damage output allow him to shine even on his own. And Celica has a niche that no other character has that I will talk about more once the Marth/Celica guide is up on this channel.
I think you may be underestimating c1. Based on the moveset KO testing you can find on GameFAQs spamming c1 into heavy is one of the best ways to rack up KOs in the game. Granted this is under specific circumstances but pretending it doesn't exist is putting yourself at a serious disadvantage.
I'm not big on the flier personally because there so hard for indivual Combat because of the Jumpy and mobile moveset. It's hard to do mistly anyrhing with them
I think that I would be able to get used to the Pegasus knights attacks pretty quickly considering I usually am able to get good pretty much every game I play. Not trying to brag if that’s what you think
The ending gag was absolutely perfect

That's awesome! Shouldn't Shadows of Valentia have the triangle attack? I used it with Est Cordelia and Palla in Gaiden...?
@@warriorsdojo6044 I... I DID specify non-remake, AND stated Shadows of Valentia was one...
@@warriorsdojo6044 And sorry if that came out as rude. I was taken by surprise and trying to form a response.

I really wish you'd added Ceada's special Triangle Attack. It's so cool seeing all three Pegasus Knights team up for such an iconic move.

I know completely unrelated but does anyone know the music for this video?
Why I haven’t unlocked cordelia’s dlc costume ?
