Dark Bishop is fun. As someone who played Three Hopes before Three Houses, I was very confused when Dark Mage was an intermediate class and Dark Bishop an advanced one, so I'm glad they changed that for Three Hopes. Using Linhardt as a Dark Bishop works out extremely well (as expected), particularly since his Essence of Wind ability enhances the C6 to become really powerful. As you've mentioned, the spellbound status is just incredible, bordering on overpowered, so any any chance you can get it should be taken. Another channel, Burner Reborn Gaming, opted to build Balthus as a Dark Bishop, given his somewhat confusing composition. With a crest that heals him, but a relic that increases damage dealt as the unit's health decreases, and no damage-boosting abilities that sacrifice health, it makes him a little bit of an odd choice for War Master, and we don't have War Monk in this game. So throwing Gordian Stroke on Balthus as a Dark Bishop with the Hrotti tome and a couple fire spells, he can wreck everything. Hopefully though, we do eventually get some DLC that adds the Valkyrie, Dark Flier, and War Monk/Cleric classes into Three Hopes.
Just out of curiosity, while I saw a video detailing everyone’s unique skills, I was wondering if you were planning on covering specific character builds later down the line?
There's another guy on TH-cam who has done really good specific character builds. You can always look up his videos, then refer back to Warriors Dojo for any additional information needed. I forget the guys name, but if you just look up something like "Three Hopes Monica guide" I'm sure hell pop up quickly. EDIT: it's Burner Reborn Gaming
Does the game recommended classes for each character gain any sort of bonus if keep them in that path? Or is it merely a 'suggestion' with no gameplay advantages?
I think I read they’re usually nothing special Some characters like the house leaders do have their unique class though which are designed to be somewhat superior.
They get increased growth EXP at the training grounds, and possibly also in battle. You also gain the Boost Critical (except Hubert), Apex [weapon] and [weapon]breaker abilities from mastering all their suggested classes. So if you use a character with their non-suggested weapon type, you can't equip the Apex ability, which is really good. But also, there are plenty of situations where characters are better suited for other weapon types.
@@Hawlo Yes, apex is still bugged. It is supposed to boost the critdamage by a factor of 1.5(No idea if it is meant to be added or multiplied), but instead sets the critfactor to 1.5...which is bad, because crits usually do 1.6 times as much damage.
It’s basically weapon durability. Whenever you use a combat art or spell, it consumes durability on your weapon. When you durability reaches zero, your weapon will “break.” It doesn’t you’ll be unable to use that weapon for the rest of the battle, it just won’t allow you to use combat arts or spells until the next fight. Thankfully, you can repair weapons by using purple crystals you find on the battlefield.
I’m not a big fan of the Dark Bishop, and I really don’t use it much. Which is probably why I didn’t have much to add it terms of details. Its attacks are just way too slow for my liking.
Isn't that just a gamewide issue tho? Most stuff lacks either speed or any meaningful range with a few rare contenders feeling pretty scuffed to control. The only classes that feel like they belong in a warriors game are Bow Knight and Shez' personal classes.(And I guess Dark Knight because having easy elemental coverage just makes up for any potential shortcomings.)

I'm so glad that you are covering this game too, currently blasting the original FE Warriors, and your guides helped a lot! :D Thanks!

Sorry, after the master classes are covered I will be moving on to other projects

@@warriorsdojo6044would you be willing to share what your next planned projects are? :)
@@warriorsdojo6044 Only the Master classes? Will you not do the movesets that don't have a Master equivalent like Warlock, Bishop, and Mercenary?
Hubert is that dude he's so damn fun
Great content, thank you! What are you top 3 warriors games?
HW Age of Calamity, FE Warriors 1, and Persona 5 Scramble
I'm having my characters master all classes for powerful skills before making spell swords to outright break the balance in my favor.
I can't wait to unlock master class seals to unlock all these crazy classes
Dark Bishop and Dark Mage classes best suits Male Shez and Hubert more better given their use of dark magic and essence of darkness.
Male Arval also a Dark Bishop specialist.

You mention Durability in most Three Hopes videos of yours, would you be able to explain how that works? I haven't been able to play the game yet.

@@legomaster2538 So does it 'breaking' make the weapon worse like in Three Houses, or does it just prevent Combat Arts?
@@isaachepworth7860 it juste prevent combat art at my knowledge
@@Sissouchaos Yeah, it just prevents the use of combat arts/spells, plus weapons are automatically repaired every battle.
