It's my third month being retired now. And life hasn't been so difficult as I thought basically because I put my head down and made ways for other source of Income. I'm a huge fan of earning more money, and I think everyone should have a side hustle. Side hustling can allow you to earn that little bit of extra money that can help you achieve your financial goals faster - whether it's paying off student loans or saving for retirement.

There is No reason for ppl to dump all in NPS , rather they should just avail only 50K Annually and calim Tax benifit of 1.5L 80c + 50K 80ccd1 .
There is No meaning in locking people money for goverment to control.
Finally No major benift except adition 50K Taxsavings .

If your company supports NPS then invest in NPS. I think video is for general public not for the employee. As an employee you can save tax on 20% of basic (Employee + employer contribution) under CCD(1). Apart from this you are free to invest in 80CCD(2) which is around 50000. And 1.5 lac is still remaining in 80C. Invest in NPS get pension like public sector employee. And pension is very important when you are in the most vulnerable part of your life. Don't collect wealth which can be lost.

Just compare the prices of basic needs like grocery, fruit and vegetables with 2022 and 1982 it's the comparison of just 40 years, all the prices are appx. 20 to 30 times and same will be in 2050 it's not going be 50 times.
      For example
      Milk price was 3-5 rs/lt in 1980s now it's 50-60
      Carrot rs 2-3/kg now it's 20-40/kg
      Orange same
Only the main expenses are in hospitalization, education.
Hope with the passage of time that will be under control.

Suggestions for betterment of National Pension Scheme (NPS):
Allow upto 100% investment in Equity Scheme.
Within Equity Scheme option to allocate funds among Small/Mid/Large Cap mutual funds.
Inclusion of Gold and Silver as investment option, via ETF/Bonds.
Investment in Annuity Pension Plan optional, not mandatory.
Option of 100% withdrawal of Corpus on retirement.
Special Corporate Health Insurance Plan for retirees.
Increase in employer contribution from existing 14% to 24%.
Unbiased research from independent and reputed Firms/Institutions for discovery of better/improved Pension Plan.

Now if he opted Auto, again LC75 is not for gov emp, he can opt only LC50 n LC25 which reduces exposer to Equity as assest class with age, so this is not fair to gov emp, if anyone can take more risk. Return of around 9% overall contribution, it is good to invest in some where other in MF.......GOV SOHOULD THINK N GIVE THE RIGHT WHO WANTS ACTIVE CHOICE WITH EQUITY.......

NPS is a shit. I would rather invest in direct Equities. I don't care about tax savings.
I would easily beat those fund managers. Those funds managers would find it very difficult to generate even 15% because of the fund size. Whereas I can easily generate 20% by learning about stock market.
Small cap can deliver multibaggers and those fund managers can't invest the entire amount in small caps as they have restrictions but there is no restrictions on my style of Investment.

I already have covered 1.5L under 80C via investment under PF, Insurance premiums, MF's etc. Not taken NPS so far. So after seeing your videos, I would like to invest annually another 1.5 to 2 L. Now, will I be eligible for another 1.5 to 2 L cover on Tax benefit over and above that I'm already getting from above mentioned 1.5L tax benefit (via PF and insurance investments) ? so totally I can avoid upto 3-3.5L of tax benefit ?

No, u will get only an additional tax benifit of 50,000 beyond 1.5 L so on a whole 2 L

Don't just jump in well after watching a TH-cam video because most for the TH-camr which are in favor of govt will always show you the benefit but never show the dark side of it. Rules can change at any moment of time, do you think govt don't want tax so he wants people to put in NPS. Govt want lump of amount at a time for just to save 20% tax people will dump 50k amount blindly in NPS which is also a indirect tax for govt. Nobody knows when the rules will change. NPS amount invested in share market so at the end what will be the return nobody knows. No gurantee return so dont just be in dreamworld but live in real world with less risk.

NPS is non-transferrable (from what I know), so giving Nominee name at time of opening account is best. In case of early Death, Nominee can Claim Full amount & close NPS.

60 % of 4 crores is 2.4 crores..then 30% tax will be levied by govt and so we will get only 1.68 crores in hand out of 4 crores...now govt has earned 72 lacs from us and govt has 40% of our money , that is 1.6 crores .....so humein loot Lia Gaya hai

NPS would have a great option if pension rate was fixed but it is not like that and how you can assume 6% pension where now a days in 2021 we hardly get 5.4% .
And rate of interest in bank will decreased in future as India is growing economy and if interest remain the same India will not grow because on other hand business man have to take loan on higher rates and his staff ,salary, profit ,maintainece cost will increase and not many people will come across to do business and genrate employment .

As we know Amount in NPS was placed in stockmarket and govt bonds …longer durations will definitely get more than 6%
