Huge respect and shoutout to Bhavana for being so brave and representing us, the 50% of the population in her battle. Our prayers and well-wishes are that the accused be given the punishment that he deserves and may you reclaim your name, peace, fame, and above all, dignity 🙏🍀
Thank you Barkha for making her comfortable. I was in tears when Bhavana started the conversation. I can feel her. Let us all be with her and give her more and more strength and support.
Bhavana opened the conversation, saying that she was "very, very nervous and emotional". Wounds like what she has gone through will never heal inspite of all the counseling she would have gone through all these years. Coming on platforms like these will definitely make her stronger and ultimately the strongest but you see these WOUNDS NEVER HEAL. What Bhavana is doing now will definitely help her more and motivate 'victims' to reach out for help, to hold them through the trauma with strong, genuine support and once they gain that strength to come out in open, they too are NOT 'victims' anymore BUT 'survivors'. STAY STRONG STRONGER STRONGEST LADY, you don't know how many of us from all over are there holding your hands.❤
Hats off to Bhavana for the courage you have displayed through this entire time and coming out today to talk about it... Thank You Barkha for providing both her and us this space to understand that the survivor is brave, in spite of being a victim of abuse....
I was deeply moved by Bhavana's performance in the Tamil film I watched. I was appalled and saddened to hear about the incident involving her-it was truly atrocious and unacceptable. It's disgraceful not only that such acts occur but also that many men remain silent instead of standing up to protect women. The recent case in Kolkata serves as another stark reminder of the cruelty that persists in our society.
Thank you for a sensitive interview... What Actress Bhavana said that we as a society should create an environment where every victim can safely express themselves. I hope she receives justice ...
Kerala has one of the best film industries, we dont want sexual offenders anywhere near our talented artists. Enough is enough. Put them in jail right now.
Bhavana.. all of us understand howmuch agony that you had undergone. but your words give courage to other women. to fight against these kind of assaults.. women should be strong ..we all should support .
Kudos to Bhavana Menon,WCC,Justice Hema's Report, above all the courage to speak about her horrific trauma because she has a very strong bonding and backing from her family, her supportive husband( which many' silent' women do not have.)The perpetrators take refuge in that 'societal' fear and continue their atrocities with other women too.Let's hope and pray for a speedy justice for Bhavana Menon and a life term for Dileep( he should be made to do community service in public places)inspite of the people and powers that be he 'buys' with his wealth! Karma is very powerful! Thank you Barkha for the empathy and sensitivity shown in this dialogue.
I am really ashamed to listen to the mental trauma Bhavana went through and going through which has been perpetuated by so called super hero of Malayalam Film Industry; shame on such people who joined with the criminal. I can only pray to Almighty God to bless Bhavana to get the courage and good health and happiness and the success in her career.
@@ananonymousanemone4125 if the survivor, Bhavana herself said that she wants to get back her lost dignity during those days, months & years, who are we to say otherwise? The original commenter's other comments only exposes her stand against the survivor.

Keeping fingers crossed 🤞 Whatever the judgement is, kudos to Bhavana 🙇♀️ Anyway Dileep cannot escape Karma

Thank you Barkha .You have given a voice to a beautiful soul to speak her heart out. Bhavana deserves Justice. It's very sad that since ages men use sexual assault as a tool against a woman if they are intimidated by the woman. This will never change until every woman teaches her son(s) to respect women in the home and outside and not use swear words or gaalis directed at a woman . These are common in every language everywhere and it's disgusting that nobody ever thought of correcting this. We find little boys use such swear language which gets into their consciousness that women are meant for such atrocities. Until this behaviour changes women will never be safe and secure in this world.
Bhavana, I'm so proud of you using your voice. You are not a victim. I and others see you as one of the strongest ladies in a society that is so horrible to women. YOU ARE SOO STRONG! NEVER believe you are alone, there are so many who support you.

You are an Idol for so many women out there!!! Thank you Bharka doing this interview "at this time"...... GOD BLESS

Huge respect for you Bhavana and kudos to you….you are a Pioneer …...you should continue to fight this…and judiciary should start delivering justice to people and punish the perpetrators…you will get justice we are praying for you….trust me the perpetrators is creating his own Karma…..

Power to women for a better society! See this as a transition phases from the ( cowardly) masculine to the unafraid and compassionate feminine. This generation is lucky to be witnessing this change.

Despite being one of the megastars in the Malayalam film industry, Mammootty has remained silent about the Hema Commission report, which is quite disappointing. As one of the youngest and most prominent actors in the industry, it's surprising that he has been avoiding the media. Since the release of the Hema Commission report, Mammootty seems to have disappeared from the Malayalam film scene. He has even postponed the release of his new movie and is reportedly staying in Dubai or somewhere else. Some say that the decision for the team to resign from the AMMA association was also influenced by Mammootty. Yet, the media seems to focus only on Mohanlal and his responsibilities in the industry, without questioning Mammootty's absence. It's a shame that no one is discussing his lack of presence in Kerala.
