Yup the torque spec is eh,,,that’s about right…..

I am not sure which way I put the hole in the connecting rod. First time changing a crank in a RC nitro engine. I appreciate it.

It will be the same way as an sh 28P3 witch i also have a video about 😎 India dude had an absolute mental breakdown because I cleaned the crank with paper towels and he said that it would scratch the crank and destroy everything the guy was an absolute moron haha

I was just wondering have you ever tried to use other connecting rods from other engines just to see if they would enter hang with each other and work.i built a 3.3 engine and i put a davis rod in it its been about 7 yeArs ago and I still haven't started it i love to build nitros i have over 20 nitro truck and car i haven't ran them in few years im starting to get back in to them again.let me know something.
Yeah that's the problem is these engines have their own rod design stroke combination and I have tried several others without any direct matches unless I make my own

Would bad crank bearings create an odd buzzing sound? My 3.3 recently started making an odd buzzing while running, somtimes at idle itll go away but if you blip the throttle it comes back. And it acts like its a slight drag on the engine while its making the noise. But the bearings dont feel bad or have play like this engine you are rebuilding. Could it be play in the rod? Or are the bearings likely the culprit
Usually when they start to make a buzzing sound as a pretty good indication at the time to come apart and freshen everything up just like the video new bearings wrist pin and connecting rod. Go with a set of Acer ceramic bearings they are really good for the money. 💯
@@nitrosport5 that's usually the point of when it runs its best before it goes pop. Top it with a os lc4 plug and assemble with a racing castor oil if you have it or your favorite 2 stroke oil.
They have a lot of bad business practices they lie a lot but it's the only thing that's available here that's actually cost-effective anymore. The dynamite 19 200 and you can't get parts the os 21tm is 480$ and 90% of the time you can't get parts or they take months to get to Canada so basically we don't have any options left. This is also the engine out of my buddies revo. It's basically all Traxxas here nowadays everything has basically been pushed out of the hobby shops that's nitro except Traxxas

Can you use Klotz Super Techni Plate or BeNoll as a nitro engine assembly lube?
Absolutely! But make sure you get the engine running within a week or it will get sticky
Would u run a thinner or thicker head gasket/shim to make the engine run better on stronger or weaker nitro fuel?
Less nitro less shim higher compression and the Opposite with more nitro depending on the engine
