Man I love that pipe✅🏆🔥👍
Contact Rick Ritter he might have a few left you can mess with 💯
Nice. My 2.5 Rustler on 30% ran like a bsnchee. Love the vids. As always👍🔥
Right on! Glad to hear! 😎🍻💯
yeah that's what I was worried about.I finally figured out what side faces the crane
Hi, My engine(.18) uses short Os8 but where I am I only find the standard lenght plugs. With double washers it fits perfectly. Could using double washers work?
You can but it will probably leak a lot and won't seal very well. You can order os 7 or os 7 glow plugs on eBay
Use 50%😅
Not available here
T-Max sounding like a champ woooo😊
Oh yeah man that was before the crank broke in half
From my experience of running gasoline in nitro engines what I did was wire up a glow plug so it would stay running because with that fuel it’s almost impossible to warm up the engine and then when you do get it properly warmed up after a long time of tinkering with settings the max rpm is half of what it normally is and tends to run hotter I ran a 40:1 mix and didn’t see any noticeable engine damage after 30 minutes of running however I’m sure carbon build up after long periods of use would kill the engine kinda like those compression ignition diesels your best bet to getting it to run better is to use those old school rc plane gas engines and their spark plug and ignition system but those engines don’t use a magneto so it requires a separate battery and then by the time you set everything up the car would be heavier and significantly down on power
I tried a few different fuel and oil mixtures and fuel with and without ethanol. The 10% ethanol did help a little but the engine ran so hot like 350° all the time was a bastard to tune is not easy to start and wouldn't really run without the igniter and didn't make nearly the power 0% nitro makes. I was going to try other gasoline blends but it destroyed the fuel system before I could test anything else. I might try again with an old airplane engine or something one of these days
@@thebug4046 I used a cox 0.49 and the when I tested it the temp outside was 15F and the engine got upto temps you would see in summer on a hot day
@@asproductions6400 hmm I might have to try that
@@thebug4046 one of the first Yk shorts i made has it you can even hear it sounds far different it sounds more like a plane
@@asproductions6400 interesting
Awesome
Some car ramps and the thinest board you can find make a great rc jumping ramp 💯😉👍✌️
Next on the list 😎
i like that hill you get air almost on it
Just a little haha
nice thats a puller now
11k carb next 😉
@@thebug4046 that lil rod is going to cripple lol
A 2-stroke dirt bike style pipe would look badass.
This is pretty close 😉
@@thebug4046 yeah it's got the fatty pipe bend
@@daveettel4750 definitely! I had a FMF fatty on my KX 250 years ago. Was an awesome pipe
@@thebug4046 me too on the same bike, braap braap
@@daveettel4750 nice! I had a 98 that was about 15 years ago
Yeah! I would call that a success 💯
Definitely! It pulls hard!
So sick! Keep up the content!!
Thanks man will do!
that pipe woke up the 3.3! nice bashing vid! hopefully your doing ok!
Definitely did man 💯 and I'm not to bad just trying to keep everything afloat here
What happen to the serio crank
It's in their still 😎
Iv got that same screw driver with the small tip it's actually for electrical control panels alot of screws for signal cable wire are the same size as it so happens as rc car screws. The sank of the screw driver gives it away. 💯👍✌️🫡
You are correct! They are weha made for high voltage
@thebug4046 iv got the 6 set of them 3 flat and 3 Phillips the smallest of each screwdrivers . All the Phillips and the smallest flat head. Work great on the savage if you add needle nose and a set off Allen wrench tee handles. You can disassemble or assemble the entire savage .🫡💯 most rc for matter fact . I do the electrical trouble shooting the installing and repair at work . Complements were on them lol
Were not bored longerrr videos
I will keep making them 😎🍻
That things got the same amount at a ercm
Very close yup!
Almost grabbed one of those instead of the slayer good video it rips 🤟
Thanks man and definitely a fun little rig!
@@thebug4046 yea i got a old one with 3.3 its fast but needs alot cosmetics ive put it on the back burner until i have the funds to giver all her glory back
@@THEDUKELOVER Yeah I can imagine a lot of people keep telling me to put my 3.3 in mind but I think that will just make it undrivable I mean mine's already plenty fast as it is and does wheel's on command I don't really think I need that much more power haja
@thebug4046 yea i can tell it moves pretty good my buddy just got one and it ripped a brand new set of tires off in 5 minutes
@@THEDUKELOVER haha I bet!
Mint little ripper right there 👌 👍🏻✌️💯💪
I'm happy with it it's a fun little truck
Hell ya he got some wheelies in, I new it would do it just from the sound bug! Sick man.
I'm very happy with it so far! Unfortunately it was short-lived because the spur gear exploded haja KBN bother 👌🏻😎🍻
@@thebug4046 traxxas makes cheap spurs anyway so it was just a matter of time. I definitely will Bug cheers 🍻!
@@Nitro-Aaron31 Yeah the owner of the truck is going to be getting a set of Robertson racing gears for it to eliminate the said issue
@@thebug4046 that's a good choice, but I thought Robison racing dosen't make spurs anymore?! I've had a hard time finding them my self.
@@Nitro-Aaron31 I'm not sure to be honest I didn't order them lol
Sounds minty!
Definitely
brap
Yo bug, I'm having trouble with my o rings at the header connection at the block. My 3.3 eats them.
Stock header and o ring? Or are you running something else?
@@thebug4046 I have only ever ran the stock ones. Where there a funny size it's hard to get something aftermarket. It's like 12.2x1
Yes stock header
@@mikehollingsworth3814 make sure the Mating surfaces are very clean make sure the header is filed flat because sometimes they warp and will not seal make sure everything is very clean and use the original Traxxas O rings if you use normal rubber they will melt and disintegrate from the fuel. I usually run oem o rings without issue
@@thebug4046 thanks as always sir! Keep burning nitro !! Woop Woop 🍻
hell yeah! KBN!!
Hell ya already looks like it has some bottom end torque that revo going to be ripping some wheelies in no time!
Hopefully! It's pretty loud in person hsha
@@thebug4046 I bet it is dude, can't wait to see it in action!
@@Nitro-Aaron31 me to! We might be going out later for a test run
@@thebug4046 sa-weet! Tell him to rip them wheelies!
@@Nitro-Aaron31 Oh yeah we fully intend to do that! With 30% nitro 10% oil fuel 😎
Love the way it sounds lol😅
Me to!
Nice n crispy
Oh man it's pretty rude haha
That's why we upgraded to the MIP clutch shoes back in the early 90's.
Absolutely! Sadly no longer made
@@thebug4046 luckily I got about 6 or 7 of them nip.
Nice very nice. I just got my hands on one of the traxxas early models when all they had were pro .15. Sounds good. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks for watchin bub 😎🍻
N4 hot are literally crap anyway , I had a t1 n3 and that ran my nitro perfectly for over 2 years , got new n4 medium to hot , ive had nothing but issues and blew them all in one day and that was hot weather 28 Celsius
I had the same problem with the n3 and n4 short life span. That's why I run os plugs
The old saying in the hotrod world all show no go f ck show we build to go fast
Darn Skippy
Im looking to purchase one off an older guy its practically new how is it getting parts for them
They are good trucks but the parts are not very available anymore unfortunately
@@thebug4046 dang that suck to hear mite just stick with traxxas
@@THEDUKELOVER I'm not the biggest Traxxas fan like some think. It's just what's available here since that's all the hobby shops sell here now. But the stuff they sell isn't bad at all
@@thebug4046 im just looking for fast stadium truck i have rustler and jato and just want something different
@@THEDUKELOVER not really much available for stadium trucks anymore unfortunately. And the rustler if you do it right is pretty fast! Mine has the 2.5R 3.3 crank OS 11K carburetor and a Ritter pipe it goes like snot! Especially on 30%
You could also sand it, smooth it and paint it if you wanted lol - I’m defiantly on your side, it has to function first Looking forward to hearing how she performs Bug ! Thanks for the fun vid 🩷
We were talking about that earlier but the owner wants to keep it kind of original looking since it's an experimental piece and today I discovered that the pipe was full of a lot of leaks unfortunately so it took me quite a bit of sanding and glueing to fix up the rest of it so it's going to have to cure for the next day before we start it unfortunately a bit of a bummer but that's what happens when you're learning how to adapt something that's not designed for a certain vehicle 💯
@@thebug4046 Yep. Trial and error is the way we learn sometimes. Nothing wrong with that and at times it can be fun. It will be good in the end
@@a2rc agreed man 💯
Great bashing vid. That SH is kickass. Shows that people should be asking what PIPE you're using, not just the engine. 1/10 2wd nitro trucks are a riot. So much fun! Shame they're barely being made anymore; Rustler is the last one :(
Thanks man! And yes sadly that's true. The rustler is a blast to drive just like the RC10 stuff light and very easy to work on 💯😎
