Medicine is a love hate relationship for sure. On one hand i do feel a sense of pride seeing the doctor in front of my name. But honestly? The pride gets shattered because of the people around us. MBBS itself is an achievement, but our own family members dont give value to it - which is why we feel that unhappiness. Even doing MD is not enough, unless its a "worthy" speciality, which is absolute BS imo. There are many many career paths to choose after MBBS, we just have to search for it, and have to be bold enough to do it! Best of luck bro, and you're absolutely right - take all the time you need and do whatever you want.
Its not just this field, there are hardships present everywhere. Myself a teen would say that live your passion cause at the end of the day time definitely goes so make sure to spend it wisely
Being a Doctor is all about passion, if not it is not your cup of tea, but dont blame life as a doctor. Please dont demoralize students. After 40 years of age techies have no value, because new techies do your job for less money.
Totally relate with you man.Practicality of medicine is shit in India.Brilliant people like us are subject to unwanted and undercerebral works in residency.Docs don't even earn that much without actually doin a business.
Never been so relatable!!!! I dont think I can do this forever !!!! I knw I was crazy about medicine always . But somehow this is not matching with the life I wanna live !!! I don’t know what I want but this is not it.
Is it worth it? Yes, for someone who is passionate about medicine, those who get a thrill by pushing themselves to their limits. No, for those who want a laid back life with more time on their hand, to do other things, want to make money really quick.
I am getting Khaled al ameri vibes. I was just hooked onto the video. I guess you should try uploading more of such videos whilst you figure out what you have to do in life. Just random advice mate!
I heard from a friend of mine, that her roommate took her own life in the final year, she wasn't happy about it and her parents weren't letting her quit because she secured a good rank and got a good college, but sadly she wasn't allowed to quit the course so she chose to quit her life💔. It's so sad, do whatever makes you happy my man you don't need to listen to anyone, because at the end it's you and your family and your close ones that matter, the rest of the world will always have something to say, don't give them any thought.
This is so true most of the people in medicine aren’t just passionate about it, they are just doing it for no reason and aren’t happy. I have realised the same is with me during these 6 months of my internship. But the good part is now I know what I want and have started chasing it along with my internship giving it best I can and will definitely achieve it some day. Thanks for this sir ❤
Nowdays most of the medicos are choosing branch which is having rush in market rather than analysis own passion towards subject. What type of work they want to do either they want to do only work or maintain work and family life balance together. So most importantly don't be in rush like goat and sheep to choose the branch first discover own passion n choose accordingly.

Just go to some software engineers with around 25-30 lpa, and ask them the same questions, what would they say? Almost the same. Go to some businessmen and ask them the same, they would say the similar. See, life is supposed to be hard, if it was easy you are in the wrong place. Every profession has its ups and downs. Stay happy with what you have.

I'm glad people do realise what they want and have the heart to follow it, and it's sad to see people doing something "because everyone was" , I feel like actually takes away the joy from the profession, be it any profession, you feel good when you see happy people in it, happy in what they are doing is what they wanted
I felt that statement ‘ I don’t know ‘ , would love to have a one on one chat with you. You seem like a person who ofcourse has genuinely put out this video. But I want to talk to you about the thought process you must have experienced while trying to take this decision. Is it just me or does everyone notice that you somehow have got back the sparkle in your eyes from the videos you actually started out with. Or please make a video behind that. Have a wonderful week ahead. ♥️
To be honest, it’s just the medical dramas that glorify this profession and show that doctors get 100% satisfaction from the work/service they do…sadly it’s very far from reality. That ‘I don’t know’ at the end is much better than the late realisation of ‘wtf am I doing with life?’ Good luck ahead! Cheers to following your heart! :)

Hi there , I want to get out of the field ! But I don't know what's my passion / haven't found anything I'm good at ! What am I supposed to do , where should I start I have so many things that I love to learn from childhood yet haven't explored due to peer / academic pressure from family
I'm a govt medical clg graduate, literally i was gud at academics scoring pretty well, my life took a turn when i was in internship, those heavy duties, hectic schedule, peer pressure, lot of toxicity, i have went through the hell, and it's difficult to cope up with such situations, i strongly recommend, if your passionate then only enter this rat race, and it personally my perspective, it can vary according to you, thank you& godbless you all
It's not a war between if the medical profession is good or bad. People joining this career need to ask the question to themselves... Why they want to b a doctor. If your answer is... Because you would love to b a doctor & want to heal patients... Then you should become a doctor ! If your answer is money, peer pressure, family pressure, looks cool, prestige, respect, because ur smart & can crack neet.... Then you will spend all your life struggling in this profession. And it's nothing wrong if u don't hv right reasons to pursue medicine... But you might not enjoy it... So for them I really hope if they can, should switch or try to incorporate fun hobbies & side hustles in their life & try to hv work life balance... That should keep u sane. And trust me there r only 10-15% docs only who really wanted to become docs & treat patients, rest docs were just smart enough to crack neet but dumb enough to get trapped.
Well, i think this is same for everyone irrespective of the profession you choose🙂Nobody is fully satisfied in what they're doing. Feeling great about ur job or getting happiness in what you're doing is very rare. Actually we all revolve around an ideal concept, everyone wants a good job ,a good family, good friens, good memories and all but its not the real life there are falls too but nobody wants that in their"ideal life" 🙂
Nothing is locked and nothing can be decided at 15. We don't know what we want in our lives even now. But truly if your work doesn't make you excited, happy and satisfied, then there is no point in doing it .

I lost many many precious moments of my life. And i no more wish to do this. Its not something that makes me happy, proud or even any bit of myself. Just waiting for the PG to finish so i can do better things in life and focus on my family.
I am currently doing internship, and after every night duty of 12 hrs i lose all my energy and spirits, I feel demotivated.. Even though i helped patient throughout the night... Sometimes i think of making a switch, sometimes i feel I'm not made for this... But i am not sure what to do now...but certainly i am not enjoying this hectic schedule.

@@Aardhya23 i just completed rerpt lyf this year and still confused on what iam gonna do next, just like that bro mentioned.i got alloted for engineering but don't know if that would be a right choice..the main problem is,I regret on these 2 years that I chose myself, which makes me think like what if I fail again or become useless..coz people already judge like that..I know there is no point in listening to some others..but somehow everything turned me into a stress bag

There is no profession in this whole world that guarantees happiness, fun, vibe….when you do something that u like and when u follow ur passion all happiness comes to u…not just mbbs each profession have its own stress and issues…do something u love…love what u r doing then ur life will be balanced and beautiful ❤

I don’t know if anyone gets this but it’s just like this most of the time . I sometimes go with the flow just for the sake of it and I don’t know what will I do if not this but it’s really confusing at this point .

It's like I'm listening to my own voice in my head ... medical field doesn't give that adrenaline that I'm supposed to get
I guess that's why i too don't have any thrill of doing it
And also i too DONT know what i want
But the years are passing and parents are getting old so they're relying on me to do something good to have financial stability
At the end it all comes down to what i want and what an individual should do to sustain a good living standard.. 😢
👏👏👏
Its not just this field, there are hardships present everywhere. Myself a teen would say that live your passion cause at the end of the day time definitely goes so make sure to spend it wisely
A wise teen
Being a Doctor is all about passion, if not it is not your cup of tea, but dont blame life as a doctor. Please dont demoralize students.
After 40 years of age techies have no value, because new techies do your job for less money.
You chose to be discouraged.
I only shared my story
Techies have value
But the best techies will make more money by 40 years of age than a doctor makes in his entire career.
What are you even saying? After 40 years, techies have no value?
Light years away from ground reality.

Bro just so excited and immensely happyy that he left medicine😅😂
Totally relate with you man.Practicality of medicine is shit in India.Brilliant people like us are subject to unwanted and undercerebral works in residency.Docs don't even earn that much without actually doin a business.
True 🙏
If a doctor isn't doing any business or don't own his own hospital. What will be his/her salary.
🫡 respect for standing up for your own feelings.
Never been so relatable!!!! I dont think I can do this forever !!!! I knw I was crazy about medicine always . But somehow this is not matching with the life I wanna live !!! I don’t know what I want but this is not it.
What are your future plans?? Suggest me if you have any
Is it worth it?

What are you doing sir ??
This is hands down pretty inspirational, may you land on your calling soon lad.
If you dont have the passion for medicine..its the bestest decision! Cuz its one of the worst job with good image
Feeling frustrated is a part and parcel of any difficult and important job, offcourse you tubers wont feel that. You dont get that Dr. prefix for nothing. She must have attended thousands of patients at their worst times in their lives. Lakhs of ppl fought for medical entrance n only few r lucky to get that. Yes our whole life revolves around exam, studies n work , thats the price you have to pay so that ppl trust you with their lives. Its a stressful job cz lives r involved here...its not a matter of views, reels and subscribers.

This video brought me so much relief. I recently finished my course, and at 23, I feel lost about what to do next. It’s been overwhelming, but this video reassured me that it’s okay to feel confused sometimes. Thank you so much! ♥️
The level of passion his personality reflects is never seen in doctors, he is made for something huge.

I'm glad people do realise what they want and have the heart to follow it, and it's sad to see people doing something "because everyone was" , I feel like actually takes away the joy from the profession, be it any profession, you feel good when you see happy people in it, happy in what they are doing is what they wanted
Casual way of saying , he's going to take USMLE/PLAB route
As if he's gonna paas. USMLE is infinitely tougher than NEET PG😂😂

Ya you said that…. there is no rush
You can take a break you need that .. maybe youtube might be your thing

To be honest, it’s just the medical dramas that glorify this profession and show that doctors get 100% satisfaction from the work/service they do…sadly it’s very far from reality.
That ‘I don’t know’ at the end is much better than the late realisation of ‘wtf am I doing with life?’

Hi there , I want to get out of the field ! But I don't know what's my passion / haven't found anything I'm good at !
What am I supposed to do , where should I start
I have so many things that I love to learn from childhood yet haven't explored due to peer / academic pressure from family
This was me last year, fully sure that medicine isn't for me. That is until my relatives intervened and now I'm forced to study for pg.
Ok ! take a subject which balances both … your personal and professional life.
Good advice
Well, i think this is same for everyone irrespective of the profession you choose🙂Nobody is fully satisfied in what they're doing. Feeling great about ur job or getting happiness in what you're doing is very rare. Actually we all revolve around an ideal concept, everyone wants a good job ,a good family, good friens, good memories and all but its not the real life there are falls too but nobody wants that in their"ideal life" 🙂
Ye jab dusare field me jayege tab bhi inhe aisa lagega....ki this is not for me....work karana kisi ko bhi achaa nahi lagata...only fun chahiye...
Nothing is locked and nothing can be decided at 15. We don't know what we want in our lives even now. But truly if your work doesn't make you excited, happy and satisfied, then there is no point in doing it .
I m a doctor too almost about to finish my pg in next two months but yes.
Even i am not happy.
It does not feel how it used to when i decided to take up mbbs and be a doctor.
I lost many many precious moments of my life.
And i no more wish to do this.
Its not something that makes me happy, proud or even any bit of myself.
Just waiting for the PG to finish so i can do better things in life and focus on my family.
Which pg branch, if you don't mind me asking ?
I am currently doing internship, and after every night duty of 12 hrs i lose all my energy and spirits, I feel demotivated.. Even though i helped patient throughout the night... Sometimes i think of making a switch, sometimes i feel I'm not made for this... But i am not sure what to do now...but certainly i am not enjoying this hectic schedule.
Good for you fr!
That is indeed an important question to ask
Exactly, soo relatable
