I wanna say it's because, at its core, it still has a lot of the things I love in the original raimi trilogy. Peter's development and character moments, the action scenes, the actors portraying these characters, I could go on. These movies always had a pretty strong foundation and I think it's that foundation that helped to still make this movie enjoyable for me despite the issues.

Spider Man 3… now this one unlike something like SM1 where it was a wonderful story about growth and responsibility, and SM2, a masterpiece about choice and struggle, SM3 I feel dabs into probably my favourite moral throughout the entire Raimi trilogy. Forgiveness. Let’s be real, all of us have dealt with absolute hardships where we hurt the friends and family we deal with because we can get consumed by anger, rage, selfishness or even complete sorrow to the point where we can dig ourselves into a hole so deep, there’s almost and nearly no way out. I like to look at Spider Man 3 as “Brilliant but Lazy”, sort of similar to something like Super Smash Bros Brawl. After making your mark like something like 64 and Melee, everyone expects you to one up yourself to the highest standard but with troubled development and timing issues, you end up… not making a disaster… but a disappointment. But truth is, SSBB and SM3 wasn’t Raimi (or Sakurai’s) choice to be disappointing, it was more of just more of the bad development that happened behind the scenes. Slowly and steadily through the years, people had rage and anger when it came to SM3 and some Spider Man fans got so selfish that if anyone who even “liked” Spider Man 3, they were just wrong. Tie this into the role of forgiveness, where as years later we got mixed Spider Man movies with TASM 2 and FFH being the “worst Spider Man movies”, we slowly forgave Raimi and SM3 and now its remained as one of the most diamond in the rough super hero films of all time. A movie that got better over time with people laughing, joking, even crying over some of the wonderful writing in this movie. Does this mean SM3 is good? No. There’s still problems but its fantastically flawed movie that I’m so happy we’ve been able to forgave, just like Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii. It may be some people’s least favourite Smash game, but by no means is it a “bad game”. Also this movie created birth to one of the greatest Internet Memes ever: *Bully Maguire*
See, while I understand being fair in criticising a movie and trying to uphold a certain standard, measuring if a movie is "good" or "bad" is kinda strange unless your job is to be a reviewer. Films, games, books etc. are a form of entertainment. How people react to them will vary and be enjoyed differently. Of course, that doesn't defend them from critisicm, but saying a movie is "good" or "bad" leaves so little room for discussion on what those stories offer. I don't know, I feel like I could explain better, but trying to narrow down how one feels about something with a "good" or "bad" doesn't do the discussion justice. A lot of "bad" movies can offer a lot of good stuff while not delivering on that quality throughout the entire movie. That doesn't mean everything that movie offered should be swept under the rug and ignored.
@@smashmaster521 FFH is my least favorite spidey movie because it was very boring, the tone was too lighthearted, even for a MCU movie, and the jokes really stood out their welcome But it's not a bad movie, most of my problems are personal opinions, I'm just sharing why me and other fans don't like it
I honestly love Spider-man 3,sure it has flaws and Sony Forced Sam Raimi as Fans wanted Venom like how Fans want Shadow to appear in Sonic 3 which is a huge mistake by the way,Spider-man 3 has become one of my Favorite Movies as time goes by,I love the Black Suit,Venom being a Dark Reflection of Peter is brilliant,Sandman and Harry(he should have been the Hobgoblin) brought alot of Emotional Moments that got me Crying as a Child, the Emo Dance is one of my Favorite Moments in the Franchise, the Fights are Amazing and Horrifying and Spider-man vs. Venom being my Favorite of the Movie, and Peter letting Ego and Revenge overtaking Him is a great Step to his Character and accepting that he makes Mistakes really touches me,part of Me is both Sad but Glad that 4 didn't happen since this was the Perfect way to End Up the Trilogy.
For whatever's worth I really enjoyed this retrospective of the original Spider-Man trilogy, even if it didn't perform super well! I met your channel through Sonic as I know a lot of people did, but I've continued to enjoy your takes on series I had never tried before like Ratchet, Megaman X and even TMNT, so I was eager to watch these trio of videos on things I have actually experienced before! I think you did a great job in all three videos and I can't blame you for deciding to cut this one a little short, hopefully whatever your next project is turns out as successful and rewarding as it can be!
Agreed with your thoughts on "nitpick culture." 90% of it comes across as people trying to act logical while remaining unaware of their own biases and preferences and how they're affecting their opinion anyways. We can acknowledge a piece of media's faults while still enjoying them as a whole, and the act of media consumption will always be inherently rooted in emotion anyhow.
I was one of those who loved nitpicking but I've done this so many times to the point I just stopped enjoying anything for a while It's draining pointing out every single little inconsistency that no one cares about
I still would've wished you'd cover all Amazing and MCU Spider-Man movies, because with the big reunion that is 'No Way Home' a string of analysis like that is just begging itself to be made.
I was 7 years old when I saw this movie in theaters and I'll never forget looking over to my left and seeing my mom cry during Harry's death. Love this movie flaws and all ❤🕷
I was so proud of my mom, after seeing the 1st spider-man movie, musing "are they going to do the thing with the alien that gives him a black suit and then turns into another guy he fights?" like damn she remembered that from me watching the 90s series, it's not like she sat down and watched with me. I was happy they did it, even if it was crammed in.
@@BlueTohru It really was. It had some pretty severe flaws, but it also aimed for the stars with hugely complex storylines spanning multi-part episodes and.. well, it crammed a lot into each one. to the point that an important discussion might have to begin before someone's arrived, and continue as they're leaving XD
Spider-Man 3 has always been special to me, it was the first superhero movie I ever saw, and boy what an introduction, back then i was blind to it’s flaws… but now i still love it even with what it has as problems, glad people are starting to come around to the movie in recent years.
For all the movies flaws, it's undoubtedly the most fun to watch. I absolutely love the Editors Cut version of the fight with Harry in his house, fucking gold. Bully Maguire itself makes up for all this movies shortcomings. Great video as always my guy
I never hated Spider-Man 3. Even the first time I watched it, I'd still enjoyed the film and sure it may be flawed but it has a lot of redeeming qualities and it's theme about forgiveness and vengeance was handled very well. The Editor's Cut was also really enjoyable and I agree that Harry seeing the photo of him and his friends in the editor's cut was more powerful than Bernard telling him what really happened to his father in the theatrical cut.
I've never seen a Spider-Man 3 review that I agree with more, and as I grow older I am also learning what Peter is feeling and how his addiction affects him.
this movie has gotten a lot of appreciation over time, at first i just watched it for memes but now i understand the movie a whole lot more than i used to, hope there will be a directors cut of the film someday, even though its less likely to happen
I really wish that raimi used the deleted scene where during the final battle where tobey pulls out eddie, in the deleted scene/unused concept, when tobey pulled out eddie, it was revealed that eddie was nothing more but a skeleton know as the symbiote has consumed eddie until his nothing more but a skeleton now, then venom decides to merge with tobey again and while struggling tobey managed to pull down some iron bars to the floor making noises which venom hate then tobey used GG's bomb to kill it.

Just saying, I don't really like Superhero movies (not religiously at least), I really enjoyed this little series. The Spiderman 2 review especially felt heartfelt and personal. Excited for what you do next, but these were all good videos that made me nostalgic for and recontextualize these movies, even though I personally don't hold them as all time favorite movies or whatever.
I would just like to say bro that transition at 0:09 seconds of the video was SOOO clean btw with the final swing of Spider-Man 2 and the opening shot from Spider-Man 3 although it is the exact same scene just with different lighting though!
You had me at, "I'm no longer the nitpick-collector, plot-hole-exposing guy. It's a boring *** and stupid way to discuss media." I'm also tired of videos trying to pick apart a piece of media like they're trying to suck out all the joy of watching them. I love movie reviewers who can share to his audience why they love something and convince us to love them too. I'm also a bit sad that you're ending your superhero movie reviews here. I first discovered your channel when I saw your video about the Christopher Reeve Superman series and was excited to see a good channel talking about what I love. Still, I'm delighted to discover this channel and hoping to watch more from you.
I like the techniques and effects that went into making Spider-Man 3. The symbiote suit is such a great outfit that should have appeared in Spiderman PS4
You could argue the symbiote is a metaphor for drugs, and drug addiction. And that kinda hits deep. I love Spider-Man 3 so much unironically since it came out, despite its flaws. Kudos for covering this movie.
Spider-Man 3 is very flawed but also my favorite movie as a kid, because the spectacle in the battle scenes and still one of my favorite spidey movies nowadays because I really appreciate what the team behind it tried to do, still a fun movie in the end of the day Shame to see the Super Heroes Movies Retrospective didn't succeeded with your audience, but hopefully your next videos about 2000s nostalgia turns out successful for the channel
My favourite of the original trilogy. Fir me the good out weights the bad. And it is underrated as so many people ignore the good or pretend there isn't any good which is just a lie.

Hey, I am beyond glad to hear someone give this movie praise aside from Hi-Top Films, I always didn't like the 3rd movie as much as the first 2, but I still enjoy it, and the editor's cut specifically does a lot to fix what issues it did have, and while it's not perfect, I do love it too. Don't feel bad on this man, besides, I can't stand the modern Spider-Man, or even Andrew Garfield's portrayal of him in comparison. Guess that's how I feel about a lot of older super hero movies though, as I still loved the Fox X-Men movies despite their fuckups on plot and a chunk of how Origins came out.
@@godzillazfriction He comes off like... They honestly cast him in the role, just to be a pretty-boy-type for women to fawn over, not to mention... I've never seen Spider-Man skate, aside from being a secret skater unlock in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, and then the first of the Amazing Spider-Man movies... I also won't deny... I really can't stand how his moments of quipping off to the villains are, when the first time in the first of the two films has him using a guy like a literal punching bag... In a way where... He just comes off like a jerk, rather than playfully making fun OF the villains, and you especially have the first appearance of the Rhino in Amazing Spider-Man 2 that... Makes Andrew's portrayal come off like he couldn't care less about the innocence in the way of the chaos... Though... If I had to point to one thing that makes it very hard to like his version of the character, it is how he becomes Spider-Man purely for revenge, with no moment of truly fulfilling his quest for finding the killer of Uncle Ben, let alone realizing that HIS actions were what made it easy for the criminal to kill his uncle... It just is a completely unresolved conflict for the character, which is supposed to be the real start of him learning to take up his responsibility... It ends up sadly really undermining that moment as a whole, if you ask me. All that combined makes it hard to like Andrew Garfield in the role, I think he can totally be a fine actor by all means, look at him in Social Network (the Facebook origin story movie) for example, but I just didn't ever find him a good fit for the likes of Spider-Man... He instead comes off like he could have been, let's say... A rendition of Cyclops from X-Men, perhaps?
@@godzillazfriction Then you see my point... :/ It isn't even so much that I want to dislike him, because some... Shocking choices can come off better than you'd initially think, for casting choices overall. After all, people talked up how bad Hugh Jackman would have been for Wolverine, and yet he walked away being easily the best fit I could imagine for sure, and I don't see anyone talking down his portrayal, aside from when he was in Origins: Wolverine... Which, to be fair, wasn't his fault, as much as the writing and CGI work... I'll also point this out, a Spider-Man casting choice I wouldn't have expected working out good, yet somehow nailing it... It may have been as a voice actor, but check out how Neil Patrick Harris nails the role of Spider-Man/Peter Parker in the CGI MTV show that tied into the original Sam Raimi film, alongside his time voicing the role in the game Shattered Dimensions... Somehow, he ended up being a FAR better fit than you'd expect.
Trivia: I heard Avi Avrad had a Venom movie in the works and wanted to green light it once Spider-Man 3 came out and did well. Based on Venoms popularity at this time. Since it didn’t go well, plans were scrapped. That’s why he basically forced Raimi. I would even go so far as to assume he threatened to switch directors if Raimi refused but that part is just my opinion.
@ That’s was the most confusing part too when I first heard it was announced. My only guess at the time was a piece of the symbiote survived and somehow regenerated Eddie’s body from scratch.
It's a shame that you won't be continuing with the superhero stuff but we all get that analytics can be a right b****. Hopefully the next project is something you enjoy just as much and is successful
Amazing Spiderman as a movietrilogy has an interessting basis, but what they did with it absolutely sucks sadly. And yeah, trilogy, there was a planned third movie that got cancelled. And from what we know about it, they turned what could have been a movie about acceptance that those that died can't come back into a nonsense action-setpiece about green mutated amalgamations.
I’m happy to hear you’ve been doing better! I just got to watch this and you’ve provided a great analysis as always. We’re very close in age so I always love hearing about your life as I can relate to some of what you deal with. Thanks as always for the great videos! Best of luck continuing to live your best life!
I've always loved Spider-Man 3. I was genuinely shocked to see people didn't like it growing up. It has a few flaws, but I still love the movie and think it has alot of qualities that make it great. Love the whole trilogy in general.
I wish someday they’ll give Topher Grace a large Role but this time I only have two solutions to be solved for his true form. 1 He doesn’t have to be that buff like in the comics instead there’s some reveal that anti-venom was always been less muscular. 2 We can still add his CGI form To make them look buff but only to be half live action graphic.
Nice to see another retrospective end with a rather positive uplifting note! I will say It is sad the superhero movie retrospective might not continue beyond this but whatever project you have in the future I look froward to it!
I remember watching all 3 Spider-Man movies with friends and family when i was a kid. I had a blast watching the trilogy. When i was a kid. I really love Spider-Man 3. That scared alot.🤣🤣I rewatched the trilogy again in Christmas back in 2021

Believe it or not, this is genuinely my favorite Spider-Man movie. Not even kidding. I really just love the story and how they did something different than the last two.
I was in my late teens when the Rami trilogy was coming out, and 3 landed when I was in college. I remember the hype, and I also remember having a great time in the theater when it released. It definitely has its flaws, but it’s still a fun time and worth watching.
I was born in 2009 years after the trilogy ended, my parents bought a DVD version of the trilogy when I was 2 years old and. It became my favorite spider man trilogy. Until the amazing spider man 1 came out when I was 3 (when I was in the kindergarten in my school trip).
Three things are saving these older movies that used to be widely hated (like Matrix sequels, Star Wars prequels and Spider-man III). First is terrible newer movies, that make fans appreciate these movies as flawed, but really not that horrible as it could have been. Second is great newer works using the same setting or characters again, and doing them justice (No Way Home and Clone Wars), which makes fans look back at the originals with more nostalgia. And the third is: ''The memes...'' - Raiden, MGR.
No matter what content you make, I'll always be hear to watch. Also glad to hear you're living your best life and have put the bad days behind you. Hope that doesn't change anytime soon.
I agree that sometimes I really hate how much nitpicking happens on many of my favorite things. Like sometimes when I've just watched a new movie I want to be able to watch a review praising it because I like to listen to what others liked too. Not all this bullshit about how fake and wrong everything is.
Ok really random but am I the only one who thinks that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 would have been a lot better if electro was the only villain? On a more related note I loved this video it was incredible and really cemented why I come back to your videos When I've had a bad day at school or something like that whether it be the sonic videos or the tmnt videos they all just make me feel really good and I feel like it's the way you talk about stuff it just makes it really obvious you love what you're talking about and something about that makes feel very happy so thanks for continuing to make great videos and keep up the great work
@14:12 holy shit, this one. More so, Dock Ock’s story should’ve ended at his first bank-robbing. Spider-Man can catch/lift cars, and tank bomb-explosions. Loved it then, but NOW I can’t get over how Dock Ock should’ve been one-shotted… He brawl’s Spider-Man like 4 times!!
These have always been my favorite videos you make so to hear that you aren't going to be making them anymore is disheartening. Still I totally get why you're doing it and will continue to watch your other stuff.
Tbh the producer calling Sam Raimi "selfish" for not including the character fans want, Venom actually just felt like he was yelling at him for not including HIS favorite character. Btw, simple, yet great video. Looking forward to your next works.
It's Peter's addiction to the Black Suit and the impact of everything he went through, and everyone he hurt, in this movie that makes his appearance in "No Way Home" so much more meaningful when he speaks about the consequences. "Trying to do better."
I really like this movie’s depiction of the Black Suit. It clings to people and it exists the bring out the worst in them. Its design is also great. I also love that Venom looks like an evil doppelgänger to Spider-Man. So yeah, the Black Suit and Venom are great in this movie.
The first 20 minutes of this film are fucking gold man,if only the rest of the movie kept going on that direction, but it all goes downhill when the Symbiote arrives on earth. I still like the movie and i think it's better than some Marvel Studios movies like Thor Dark World,Captain Marvel and even Far From Home (which in my opinion had the biggest character regression for Peter in any Spider-Man movie),but at the same time i feel very frustrated when i watch it because there is a great movie in here, the studio just didn't let Sam Raimi do what he wanted, all they had to do was set up Venom for the fourth movie instead of forcing him into the story, maybe had another director for the fourth one if Raimi felt he wouldn't do Venom justice but,if Spider-Man 3 succeeded we may never had Into the Spider-Verse so,maybe it was for the best.
It really is a shame that these videos are performing as low as they are. I understand the sentiment that it's been said and done before and on a larger scale, but I think watching a more condensed review that gets to point of why these movies are as entertaining as they are meaningful to the reviewer, without dwelling too much into whats so bad (because people already know what is and what isn't), is still worth a watch.
@@chriscannon8144 I'm not a views expert either, J's the one saying they perform not so well. Still, my guess for a good enough performing video for his channel would be 75~85k views minimum. It also dependes on the topic. Sonic for example, i mostly likely bound to get 100k or upwards more easily than say, Mega Man. He has said before that superhero movies are his worst performing (both videos on the Batman movies did around the same as these, ~50k or bellow; The Superman one did even worse at 30k). This is just my guess though.
Tremendous video bro, it was so refreshing to see someone younger than myself actually have taste and put forth good reasoning of why this movie is truly special. Nowadays we have a bunch of zombified MCU drones who unrelentingly bashed these films....except now because of No Way Home, since it's cool to like the Raimi films now.

She would also do random pizza parties for my whole class and as soon as it's over we still got bout 2½ hours of skool but im leaving with mom's and she takes me to gamestop. I'm soo happi I got to be a child. People always brag nout how they was doing adult stuff as a child, not me. I didn't start doing drugs, playing with guns etc until I was 21
Holy crap, knowing that that cut had Harry come to help out on his own instead of having his butler tell him and the suddenly become good would have put the film at least two points higher on my list.
The way I would have done this movie would have been to split into two films, with the first one ending with Eddie getting the Symbiote and the second one with Venom as the villain
@@jackhamilton9604 Not have Sandman or Gwen Stacy. Have Harry become a more proper Goblin messing up Peter's life around the same time he gets the Black Suit. Eddie is a part of that, fulfilling a similar role to the original film at first. Halfway through, Peter snaps, resulting in a similar fight to what Harry and Peter have that results in Harry being scarred. When he tells MJ what happened, they go together to get rid of the black suit, it then bonds with Eddie. Then you have an entire other half of the film to focus on Venom. Maybe have him fake "Spider-Man has gone bad" pictures as Venom and sell them back to JJJ, have him continue what Harry started of trying to mess up Peter's life. Have him actually speak with "we" pronouns and refer to themselves as Venom. Then the climax and mostly be the same, minus Sandman. Have Harry show up to save Peter and MJ and still die, but rather than kill Eddie and the symbiote, just kill the symbiote, leaving Eddie open to come back.
The editor’s cut fixes it for me. It gives the symbiote arc more cohesion, Sandman got a great new scene, Harry returning to help was a lot more powerful. Perfect? No. Much stronger from just better scene placement and a few new additions? Yes, and that’s an accomplishment to me

Also this movie created birth to one of the greatest Internet Memes ever:
*Bully Maguire*
@Dante Toshiro64 The first two movie games were pretty good, but the third one was very lame and rushed, still my guilty pleasure from time to time
See, while I understand being fair in criticising a movie and trying to uphold a certain standard, measuring if a movie is "good" or "bad" is kinda strange unless your job is to be a reviewer.
Brawl > melee as a product.
Far From Home isn't even that bad. I swear, people don't know what a good movie would look like if it hit them in the face.
@@smashmaster521 FFH is my least favorite spidey movie because it was very boring, the tone was too lighthearted, even for a MCU movie, and the jokes really stood out their welcome
But it's not a bad movie, most of my problems are personal opinions, I'm just sharing why me and other fans don't like it
The final conversation with Sandman is still one of my top 3 favorite moments from the Raimi trilogy.
*How Fans want Shadow to appear in Sonic 3 which is a huge mistake by the way*
I would rather see Metal Sonic.
Agreed
The walking down the street scene is basically 'You're not ready for that, but your kids are gonna love it' personified.
My dad did the same thing. One of my most cherished moments with him before he died. Didn’t even know he was a comic nerd before that day
The transition from the final swing of spider man 2, to the opening swing of Spiderman 3 that you did in around the first 9 seconds was perfect!
The way that he ended the video with “I’m exited to dive back into” leads me to believe that Mega Man X5 is next
Ikr
I was one of those who loved nitpicking but I've done this so many times to the point I just stopped enjoying anything for a while
It's draining pointing out every single little inconsistency that no one cares about
I still would've wished you'd cover all Amazing and MCU Spider-Man movies, because with the big reunion that is 'No Way Home' a string of analysis like that is just begging itself to be made.
@@KairuHakubi wholesome mom moments 🤝 also the 90s animated series was the best!
This was SO well written and delivered. Love this take J
I usually don’t comment much, but I want you to know how much I enjoy your videos, regardless of the subject, keep up the great work!
I've never seen a Spider-Man 3 review that I agree with more, and as I grow older I am also learning what Peter is feeling and how his addiction affects him.
this movie has gotten a lot of appreciation over time, at first i just watched it for memes
but now i understand the movie a whole lot more than i used to, hope there will be a directors cut of the film someday, even though its less likely to happen
Hey J, it's me. I heard from somebody that you mentioned me in a video. I was so shocked, I never heard you have a channel but here I am now. That kid you were saying who left with their dad to go see this movie was me. I am so glad I found this channel because I was loosing in touch with my previous classmates from school. You got yourself a new subscriber and I hope you have a good luck with your channel as I seen you have 100K subscribers already. Good Luck J!👍
But J, you don't understand, the blade that pierced his father, came from his gilder!
Spider-Man 3 is very flawed but also my favorite movie as a kid, because the spectacle in the battle scenes and still one of my favorite spidey movies nowadays because I really appreciate what the team behind it tried to do, still a fun movie in the end of the day
Shame to see the Super Heroes Movies Retrospective didn't succeeded with your audience, but hopefully your next videos about 2000s nostalgia turns out successful for the channel
My favourite of the original trilogy. Fir me the good out weights the bad. And it is underrated as so many people ignore the good or pretend there isn't any good which is just a lie.
3:55 I don’t think Eddie was a “new” photographer. I believe in Spider-Man 1 either J Jonah or Ms. Brandt makes some passing remark of there being Eddie at the Bugle.
Damn, this movie has gotten quite the spike in appreciation lately

Somebody FINALLY AGREES WITH ME!!! I’ve never had any problems with this film. Honestly it’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.
Sorry to hear you’re stopping doing Superhero movies, honestly can listen to you talk about any subject looking forward to what’s next.
Guess that's how I feel about a lot of older super hero movies though, as I still loved the Fox X-Men movies despite their fuckups on plot and a chunk of how Origins came out.
wait elaborate on Andrew Garfields portrayal
@@NightNinja1998 😐
@@NightNinja1998 'He just comes off like a jerk' once again... 😐👍
@ makes sense. I don’t know. I heard that before. They could have done their own thing separate. Would have been bad either way.
Fun fact, the version of the butler that comes clean to Harry at the end of the is a hallucination according to Rami.

I've always loved Spider-Man 3 since day 1, despite it's obvious flaws. I was just grateful to have Black Suited Spider-Man and Venom!😊
Your videos give me BrownTable and HiTop Raimi Trilogy video vibes that’s a good thing. Really like your content.
Love how in the beginning in the video, you had Mephiles Phase 1 from Sonic 06 playing in the background.
I’m glad that you’re doing well man ✊🏿 keep making great videos!
This movie is suddenly getting loved. So is the Amazing Spider-Man series. Amazing Spider-Man forever!
I've always loved Spider-Man 3. I was genuinely shocked to see people didn't like it growing up. It has a few flaws, but I still love the movie and think it has alot of qualities that make it great. Love the whole trilogy in general.
I love this movie, I still don't understand why people don't like this movie.
Because.................... Avi Arad
Cuz I love the black suits, the fights and the swinging in the movie. I also jumped where peter was looking for venom. Then venom grabbed peter from behind. That scared alot.🤣🤣I rewatched the trilogy again in Christmas back in 2021

Believe it or not, this is genuinely my favorite Spider-Man movie. Not even kidding. I really just love the story and how they did something different than the last two.
I watched the Original version without subtitles and I loved it. And it's hard to think if I wanna say that S3 is better than S2
I like 3 too. And from the looks of this it could of worked better as a 2 parter.
Topher Grace's Eddie Brock is criminally underrated and really deserved his own film.
If he did get his own movie… it should be called “Web Action”
Fun fact: there was gonna be a venom movie in 2008 buuuuut you know what happened
And the third is:
''The memes...'' - Raiden, MGR.
Spiderman 3 oh boy .... Having 3 villains in one movie was a can of worms waiting to happen imo ...
No matter what content you make, I'll always be hear to watch. Also glad to hear you're living your best life and have put the bad days behind you. Hope that doesn't change anytime soon.
I'm not much of a movie guy, but I'm glad you finished this trilogy. It was very interesting!
I agree that sometimes I really hate how much nitpicking happens on many of my favorite things. Like sometimes when I've just watched a new movie I want to be able to watch a review praising it because I like to listen to what others liked too. Not all this bullshit about how fake and wrong everything is.
I still find it hilarious how bully Maguire went from hated to loved randomly after ten years
Spiderman can not have a bad movie/ media representation. Hell even Japanese spida man is sick af. Maybe you can tackle that next 😎
Ok really random but am I the only one who thinks that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 would have been a lot better if electro was the only villain?
On a more related note I loved this video it was incredible and really cemented why I come back to your videos When I've had a bad day at school or something like that whether it be the sonic videos or the tmnt videos they all just make me feel really good and I feel like it's the way you talk about stuff it just makes it really obvious you love what you're talking about and something about that makes feel very happy so thanks for continuing to make great videos and keep up the great work
This video is probably one of your best imo. Really appreciated the personal insight and your perspective on nitpick-focused media analysis.

0:40 man do u know how many “doctor appointments” I had in grade school and middle school? I was so “sick” the movies were the only cure lol
I loved this movie as a kid. Still do today.
It's Peter's addiction to the Black Suit and the impact of everything he went through, and everyone he hurt, in this movie that makes his appearance in "No Way Home" so much more meaningful when he speaks about the consequences. "Trying to do better."
I remember how in school before Spider-Man 3 came out, kids were predicting the series would go all the way to Spider-Man 7...
I'm glad you at least included one of the most common Bully McGuire clips
You should do a retrospective of The Batman. The animated series of 2004. That was my first introduction to Batman and it was awesome.
And one of the shows where you don't need Conroy to be the Bat
Spider-man 3 is up there with End of Evangelion and Mean Girls as the 3 movies I can watch anyday
Happy that you're living your best life, J! :D

People always say that but I think it was perfectly possible to have it be one film, the problem was never Venom
@@Danbo22987 how would you have done it then?
@@Danbo22987 I feel like Sandman is essential for the themes of redemption
