I agree fast thinking and still pro...I also think Andy was also compensating a bit by sliding down on his guitar for a bit of bass drop during the break at 2:35 very pro..and never panicked at all
That low synth part is just there in the song at the end, Nick didn't change anything he was doing (unfortunately). He's the only one that could have added a low part to what he was doing.
You are incorrect. Nick flicked on the sub oscillator on the Jupiter 4 which introduced a square wave an octave down. Super cool heads on everyone’s part.

And seeing how they handle all the tech issues like pros and reading all the comments and stuff is so fucking cool. I like this song even more now and it just blows my mind how talented they were so young

That happened to James Hetfield one time during a concert, Jason Newsted took over on vocals until James got his mic back. Nobody even knew anything happened until James said something about the mic not working. Kudos to Jason for stepping in and not panicking.
