pass this inspirational performance on, we need this now more than ever!!
Welcome! These musical clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital. There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the performances will be seen for the first time since they were originally televised. I will be adding many musical performances from a variety of sources that I hope you will enjoy. Please hit the like button if you can.

I agree. Up there with the all time top echelon of comedians. She was ahead of her times.
    Thanks for the memories.

Tyde Sagax a ‘fruit ‘ when referring to a person, is a derogatory term for a gay man.
Joan put the man in a fruit jar because he’s a fruit ( gay).

Joan Rivers is immensely funny, too bad people at that time did not appreciate her comedy.

That is not true...she was one of the biggest comedians and extremely popular in 70's and 80's. So people did appreciate her comedy!

@@re7416 There is a reason why Fox wanted her, everyone knew she got bigger numbers than Carson. Her show at Fox was a hit and but for Edgar going to war with Fox executives she would have been there a long time.

Same jokes from 1970-2005, which is why she made a better red carpet interviewer than stand-up comedian

So if you didn't know. Most comedians do a 10 minute to 15 minute routine. They're different routines that they rehearse. Yes, they're the same jokes, but she also brought fresh ones. Keep in mind, she also excelled at interviews with Carson, she spit fire them most of the time.
