Thanks for posting this! What a wonderful show - Joan and Johnny were so in sync. Joan is a laugh riot and it's so nice to have a good chuckle considering the times we're in.
to @RonGerstein Carson was successtul in every sense professionally, but not big enough to ignore Joan Rivers error. He had to destroy her to prove he was king. Sad.
❤❤I wish we can keep these three forever. Late night shows will never be the same. Johnny Carson was Priceless! Joan is too funny!! God bless them all ❤
She is one of the best ever, who sadly was banned by Johnny Carson after she decided to have her own show. Her husband committed suicide, and she was not invited to any late shows for years! Who knows how many great jokes and stories died in small comedy clubs, where she had to perform in the meantime… The jokes about her age, the Apollo theater shows, they are so great!
@@Jolers63 you blaming Rivers for her husband’s weakness? If there was something amiss in the marriage that’s what divorces are for… you don’t kill your partner or yourself. He was either a coward or mentally sick and we don’t go around placing guilt on others.
So much like Rodney Dangerfield in that they both had great comedy routines prepared for the couch. The Elizabeth Taylor/McDonald's/Twinkie joke is among the greatest jokes I have ever heard. Brilliant.
Awe, your comment is awesome! I like the way you explain things and separate the paragraphs. You are someone I could definitely fall in love with and trust ❤
Now why didn't they include her most famous line: Johnny: Is it true men want a platonic relationship? Joan: I never knew a man who put his hand up a woman’s dress looking for a library card!!!!!!!!!!
The video I want to see.... Shelly Winters final appearance on the show... Never saw Johnny get so angry... but don't think his people are ever going to allow that to air again, ever.

It’s a shame Joan Rovers didn’t get the job after Johnny Carson retired. Her sense of humor & timing was spectacular. RIP to all three on stage.

More Joan appearances please and thank you ❤
I love Joan Rivers ❤ Comedic genius SIP 🌹👑
Joan Rivers, Don Rickles, Rodney Dangerfield -- the golden era of comedy.

Her husband killed himself. That cannot be ignored. Don't you think people could SEE that something is so sadly OFF??
People commit suicide because they are weak… we shouldn’t blame the people around them, that’s NOT fair!!

True, pure comedian. She did sexual humor, but with class, never crass, unlike so many comedians today. The female Rodney Dangerfield.
