Love your videos brother!! I fished freshwater ponds and lakes all day long in my childhood in NJ. We had Pickerel then, no real bass action. Then I got a taste of saltwater fishing and never looked back. But I just retired to SC and ran into a kid at one of the box stores and gave him some gear advice and he opened my eyes to all the big bass action in the ponds I drive past everyday. Now I am relearning to fish banks and loving it. So simple and pure, like being a kid again. Thanks for all the great videos.

You probably have already made a video on this, but if you haven't I would love to learn how to read a "lake pool elevation chart"(I think that's what they are called....) In order to understand if a lake is high, low, letting water in, or out, etc. Guys keep saying, "They are letting water out." or "Lake level is rising." I cant seem to find a good source on how to learn that information. I think I understand what I am looking at but I'm not sure. Love your channel. Its taught me a lot of things!

Early spring is my time with the Sinko. I just catch entire schools of bass on them. Stood in one place casting to the same place and caught about 8 in an hour and a half a 2 weeks ago before that cold snap.

In the nearest places I fish there are bass fry aka just spawned bass and I notice that other bass are relying on that for bait so would the same baits still work. The vegetation is also like Lilly pads and stuff like that

HeyGene: Great info as always. Since your with 13 Fishing I’ve got two questions about them. 1st: I noticed tackle warehouse has a bunch of their lures on close out so is 13 getting out of lures or tackle ware house just not going to carry them? 2nd: Have you tried the new 13 G-man rods/reels and thoughts? Thanks…🎣😎🐝

Thanks for the info but one suggestion is if you are fishing ponds with young gators in it. They will make a B-line for your bait thinking it is an easy meal with a top water lure.
