When i got sober I bought this watch almost 5yrs ago. It works great. I work on sportfishing and research vessels from southern California to the arctic circle out to Hawaii and Guam. I'm extremely hard on watches.. I keep looking at G- shocks to replace it but it still works great. Still looks great considering all its seen. I have the blue model. This is the first watch I've bought that I haven't traded for dope in many years. I've had countless g shocks for about 2days max.
Tried this watch at a local dealer and I felt in love with it. I think of those golden bars as heat pipes. What a sick watch, I'm heavily considering purchasing this.
I like the resin strap on it it's got real fine looks like threaded fibers going through it it's just cool looking it doesn't have that cheap plastic look really nice watch thank you for sharing this watch and you did a great video on it 😎👍🖐️
I think they went downhill sometime in the last decade. I'm hoping they get back to their roots more in-line with their original Atlantis and Ironman models.
Casio should take the AE1500WH-1AV watch and stick it in this chassis. It would make the ultimate Gshock digital. I like this watch. But like many Gshocks it's all watch and very little display. My biggest beef with Gshocks are all the little digital spinning wheels and decorative LCD counting bars; unnecessary garbage if you ask me.
Doesn't bother me but it does seem to be a reoccurring complaint for many. If you like this case, then you might enjoy the AE1400 which sort of has some G-Shock genes in it.
UPDATE: So, I finally caved in and sprung for this watch; I call it the HULK. It has the beefiest protection I've ever seen in a watch. And, to revisit my comment above: Casio, please stick the AE1500 in this frame/chasis. It would be the ULTIMATE Gshock digital EVER. Do that and I'll buy about 5 of them.
Should be the same as adjusting regular time. Press and hold the adjust button until the time starys blinking. Press adjust again when youre done. Repeat the process for each time
Hey love your Casio watch reviews in general but one thing you should consider. Get a freaking manicure before doing these videos! Not fun watching this review. Luckily I switched to another review. You don’t show your face you’re showing your hands.

Of all the current digital G-Shocks, this one is in the top 5 G Shocks I would recommend. Great choice.

The bullbars are fairly durable. Unless you're intentionally scratching them or damaging them they will be just fine.
