    Bloody hell, dirty day for Gricey. It looked like they were all driving on street tires with the lack of traction.

    Epic!!!! Amazing to see this...... always on my mind aand now...have seen it. Amazing. Any chance you have the 1984 race? Masterton won the very last Group C meet....

      Unfortunately no, and I'm unsure of anyone who may have footage from that event. I have the 79 meeting and some home video from 83 too 👍 My profile pic is from that 84 meeting 😁

    It's not a very wide track.
    On these types of races it's always good to get a lead at the beginning to keep out of trouble of other cars.
    35 seconds in too many cars trying to cut each other off and they are too close together for this type of track. The track is too narrow to have cars side by side at that point, they should be following one behind each other there to avoid what happened.
    I wonder what top speed they get up to here ?
