Sam quit picking on Angela! She's a hard worker and you couldn't live without her. Love the videos! Looks like you got the storm we had here in Missouri!
Man I wish I had your energy. Have cabinets that need fixing in my kitchen nary a person around that knows how or wants to I don’t expect help for free. I need a Sam the handyman lol. I love the progress your making and I adore the feral children involvement. Now that wall is BEEFIN! I first saw that blind mark on another TH-camrs channel thought it was the bomb.
Alls I can say is I hope your trailers hurricane ties are tight! I've been in a mobile home when they hurricane and when a tornado has come entirely too close for comfort. Those hurricane ties are pretty amazing.
I'll tell you what if you put blocking like that throughout that whole trailer you can probably drop it off a cliff and it'll be all right that's probably why they moved it with no problem you're beefing that up like No mobile home ever. Out of personal experience mobile home remodel is a pain-in-the-ass my hat's off to you guys for tackling this and I can understand why you want to keep your home
I swear by the old lipstick method, put lipstick on box, push drywall against it, pull away it is marked EXACTLY, cut with a handheld drywall saw or razorblade knife. Screw drywall to wall with a perfect fit around box. Cost is one dollar for lipstick at Dollar Store or zero for old one wife no longer uses.
You're husband's right about the drill not being a hammer, using the battery as a hammer is a great way to decrease the lifespan of the cells. All lessons you learn by doing, so bravo for yall for doing the hard part, DOING IT!
I bought a cordless Kobalt drywall screw gun when I found it for about $30. I don’t hang a lot of drywall, but it’s been a nice addition to the toolbox.
I thought the outlet magnet was cool when you used it in the boys room, and the new saw attachment is too. Both of them are great for people that using a tape measure to get exact measurements isn't their friend, like myself 😃
I saw where the router can cut the outline of the window perfectly! Also the new helper tools are amazing! I wish we had those when we were drywalling!
My husband has been in construction for 48 years. He said they tried the plastic on the interior once in the 70s and it will cause rot. The plastic will sweat where the warmth from one side meets the cold from the other and it will cause rot. Just FYI in case you have time to change it you may want to. I love watching your channel and would hate for you to have trouble down the road.
I love that you are sharing this journey with us. By far my favorite parts have to be the outtakes at the end. Love em!!! Was anybody else chewing their nails while looking at that sky during the storm???
i use a drywall hand saw for most cuts other than straight ones...you can cut a box hole out fast...and easier than a utility knife ( safer too )... and great for any drywall work...
Hi, Sam and Angela. I know you can't want to move back into the trailer. I been following the whole move to Tennessee. My grandmother was from Tennessee.
I know it's annoying but in the wall to kitchen I would put sound detener insulation in so it's quite and not only that keep the sounds from the bedroom echoing through out the house on rowdy night 😂🤣
Hi Sam & Angela Another great video. It's always nice to see progress. For some reason once you see drywall up, it just makes things more focused as to what the end result will be. We've experienced the same type of rain storms here. Some areas had 3 inches in an hour . At least you know there is no leaks. Angela you're brain is just fine . Just like using the drill as a hammer. You gotta do with what's available at the moment. Sam, I like your new tools. Whatever makes the job easier, is always nice. Will be coming back to see what's next with you, the two stars of DIY. Stay strong and safe
SAM AND ANGELA, LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE GETTING THINGS DONE AS USUAL AKING IT LOOK EASY. LOVE WATCHING YOU TWO WORK TOGETHER. KEEP UP THE AWESOME JOB AND GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
I hope there’s not a big fee, on getting the electric to your place . I know the septic tank will be ,hope to see more to come real soon . Look for a new Video everyday ,can’t wait to see more . Blessing to you all 😊♥️
OOOoooo....made in the USA. That's good enough for me :) Grandma is getting some new attachments!! Now, maybe you guys take Mother's Day off? (Happy Mother's Day, Angela!)
Hi Sam & Angela,WOW you got so much done.I love the new tools you showed.I always learn something.Have a great week.We sure could use the rain you had in south Texas.🌷
You did not mention the drywall screw dimpler. We used our when we did dr4ywalling. It gave the right amount of indentation for tape and mud and it did not allow the screw to go to far in.
I love speed time lapse shots. It make you look like a ant hill where each ant scurries around doing it's thing. As a kid you've watched ants work, right? Alot done fast!
Lumnah Acres uses the outlet magnet and dywall screw they are great tools. Maybe you can hire or sell them to DIFFERENT when you are finished with them as they have a lot to do over in their place.
There's no such thing as too much blocking, imho I'm glad you think so too because you never know when you have a poster size family picture in a 10# frame.🤗 Thanks for the heads-up on the drywall cutter! I hope you have a blessed Mother's Day, Ang🤜☮️💖
A tip I learned when they did the drywall replacement in my basement, put up the drywall, and use a small hand held plunge router to cut the openings for the windows and doors. Took them seconds to cut the openings once they had it hung (and they were cut perfectly to size), but it DID generate a good bit of dust. They did the same for wall box openings, but they weren't nearly as precise, and had to go back and repair a bunch of spots with dyrwall mud after the fact (your tool above would have done a MUCH nicer job on the outlet box openings for sure).
Probably too late at this point, but if you're going to put a TV on the wall in there, figure out where now, and put some blocking behind the drywall there too. Makes those TV mounts solid as heck. I ran network and power to where mine mount as well, so no wires showing either..
Hey guys 👋. If only insulation went that fast in reality. Thank you Angela, I've been trying to figure out how I was gonna handle that problem when we get to the point of sheetrocking. I can not wait to use those blind mark magnets!! Bought those after I saw you use them in the boys room. Omg 😳 I have got to get those things for the oscillating tool!!! You find the coolest Gizmo's, but you cost me money 🤣. That storm looked like Nader juice 😱. Glad y'all are safe
It's time for itchy and scratchy ! Lol 😆, but seriously, I think Owen's corning makes a less itchy fiberglass insulation that you can buy, easier to install as well !
We live in a Seattle residential area with a view of downtown. I love watching your channel because of the pragmatic compromises you have made with your projects. Possibly, I would rather live in the countryside--major upgrade trailer. I relate because during the pandemic we did an extreme remodel. My wife and I acted as the general contractors doing most of the work ourselves. I would love to have you (both) as neighbors, any day, anywhere! Of course, we subscribed. I have to see what is next...
I have seen the magnets on other channels, it looks like the tool of the year. Others seem to have more luck cutting out the drywall with a rotozip spiral mini router cutter, may be you might find it easier with that. That storm that you had is like what we have over here in Cyprus. When the rain hits the ground it bounces back up again, it fun to watch the horizontal rain but no fun being out in it. Thanks for posting
Love the fast forward filming and the tippity tapping of the hammer and other tools, once again you two what a fantastic team you make and I wish I was there for the storm
I remember you using the outlet magnet tool when you were doing the soap shed. Pretty cool device. Love all the progress you guys are making on your bedroom, bathroom and laundry area. You guys can tackle about anything and are very professional about it.
That's a great idea that Angela had for the wonky corner wall next to the shower, however, hopefully she didn't use too long of a screw to fasten the plywood/drywall spacer, otherwise you'll find that the tip of the screws went through the metal siding on the mobile home!!, that happened to me on a job years ago!, had to remove all the screws and replace them with shorter ones !, also if not caught, you can get a nasty cut if you happen to brush up against the area of the screws that poked out from the siding !, I suppose you could cut the tips off of the outside of the siding, but still have a cut hazard!, great job so far !
A solid plastic barrier I do not recommend because the wall can't breath which in turn causes sweating which in turn causes mold. Maybe just being applied to one side of the wall only you just might get away with it. PS that is if you have no other barrier of any type on the outside wall.
Air infiltration deposits dust, dirt on the insulation . That is an area that may need better air sealing. It is A good way to locate air leaking in , out of the attic insulation.
Hey Sam, Hey Angela, love watching y’all getting it done! Also want to tell you two how much I appreciate your willingness to try new tools or new tool accessories and give your honest opinion about them 👍🏼 Have a great weekend and Angela, hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day.🌸 Stay safe and God blessed😀
Great job!! Love the drywall tools. Have you seen tools for round ceiling light boxes? It would be nice I guess. Hanging drywall on ceilings is a challenge in it self. AWESOME KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
If you was doing much drywall …a rotozip for cutting out doorways, windows and outlets is definitely worth its cost also a clutched drywall screw gun .
Yes- Angela is smart, I've noticed. Sam I liked that 90 degree angle tool that allowed you to put the screws in the corner. Love all the nifty USA drywall tools, too! I am sorry you have storms quite often. I don't know why I don't like storms. I hope it doesn't cause any problems for you or your machinery outside.💗 God Bless
I've been using those drywall bits for years I usually buy a dozen at a time they wear out pretty quick but they're awesome and just a tip you're never supposed to cut the ends that you butt together generally you put factory in together for a smooth butt joint the cut end always goes to the wall just a tip looking good
Love the video. I am glad you support the tools made in the great USA. Y'all are doing a awesome job remodeling your bedroom. I could watch y'all all day because how you explained how y'all do on each project and you tell us the viewers where we can understand what y'all are doing. Thank you. See y'all on the next video.
Seen a router or a roto-zip tool to cut the drywall from the electrical box as well. Looking awesome. Stormy weather. Crazy the amount of rainfall. Betting the new roof is some piece of mind.👍🏻🤗 Happy Mother's Day Angela😁💐
One good thing about this rain is you will be able to see runoff issues, etc and plan accordingly.
Sam quit picking on Angela! She's a hard worker and you couldn't live without her. Love the videos! Looks like you got the storm we had here in Missouri!
Enjoy watching your videos and watching them every time they come on. Remodeling your master bedroom
Happy Mother’s Day Angela!
Thank you!!
I have enjoyed watching you both for years. You are the kind of people I wish I knew in person.
When you don't do a video for a few days...I go thru with-drawlal. Love watching. Ya'll are super smart...
HalleluYAH just love watching the team work. I’m so excited for all of you.
Ooo I was just reading your comment on diyfferent’s channel. Love you guys and all your content. I found your channel from watching their channel
Me too!! Started with the thing ma zig you made for Doug for his peanut butter!!
Diyfferent is awesome.. I love their channel
some sort of sound barrier (insulation, etc) between the master and the rest of the house is always a good idea and worth the extra expense 😉
Great job guys, please continue showing the bloopers, they are a hoot!👍🏻👍🏻
Love those Drywall tools makes it easier to find the electric box and cut it out, the bedroom is looking nice.
You sure can tell Sam has done some dry wall before. GREAT JOB.
Cool tools, cool people.
Man that storm makes for good sleeping weather lol
Ooo I remember that blind cutting tool from the soap shack
Since you have a master bath, you should put insulation on your bathroom wall to keep noises down .
I was in Samgela withdrawal, thanks for posting
Good evening Sam and Angela . I hope youre well and enjoying the weekend so far ?
you have built a new house with all the work you did. that home was a great idea.
We’ve had rain for two days straight 😊
So excited for you, bedroom will be there before you know it.
Still love the bloopers, lol.
You all please take care and be safe
Thank you for "supporting USA stuff"...really important ❣🇺🇸
Alls I can say is I hope your trailers hurricane ties are tight! I've been in a mobile home when they hurricane and when a tornado has come entirely too close for comfort. Those hurricane ties are pretty amazing.

Loved today. Have been having withdrawal. Don't drown or blow away. Praying for you.
That was serious rain. And, you're right, those are cool tools.
Awesome job. Angela is a natural at using tools and doing her share of the work.

Looks so bright in there with all that white 🤍 drywall
Awesome receptacle tools!! Especially that outlet cutter!!! Great channel great family
I loved the new tools reviews and the rain was relaxing to watch and listen to 😍
I saw where the router can cut the outline of the window perfectly! Also the new helper tools are amazing! I wish we had those when we were drywalling!

Agree, that’s why they use Tyvek as it allows the wall to breath and it’s still waterproof 👍
I love that you are sharing this journey with us. By far my favorite parts have to be the outtakes at the end. Love em!!! Was anybody else chewing their nails while looking at that sky during the storm???
That was do cool with the outlets. Hey you get the sheet rock and floors it will be ready when you can move in. I love the flooring in the boys room.
i use a drywall hand saw for most cuts other than straight ones...you can cut a box hole out fast...and easier than a utility knife ( safer too )... and great for any drywall work...
Glad to see things coming together. And I love those drywall tools! And as always still praying for you and your family.
Happy Mother’s Day, Angela! ❤️
Appreciate your clear, simple, concise process and purpose explanations.
Looking great guys, love that plug gadget, see you next time on the beautiful homestead, happy Mother's Day Angela ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, Sam and Angela. I know you can't want to move back into the trailer. I been following the whole move to Tennessee. My grandmother was from Tennessee.
Sam you know your gonna have to build a roofed, screened, front porch all the way across. 😉
Oh we would LOVE that!!!
I know it's annoying but in the wall to kitchen I would put sound detener insulation in so it's quite and not only that keep the sounds from the bedroom echoing through out the house on rowdy night 😂🤣
My hubby was watching as he said they otta make a….. then he said when did they make that cutter for drywall!! It was so funny 😂

Great new tools 😎✅
The room is really coming together… before you know it, you’ll be enjoying a good nights sleep in there ! 😘😘
Boy ! What a spring storm you had come through! Hopefully no tornado warnings or anything!!
You did not mention the drywall screw dimpler. We used our when we did dr4ywalling. It gave the right amount of indentation for tape and mud and it did not allow the screw to go to far in.
Gosh Sam you make it lQQk so easy! Even watching Ang makes me jealous lol.
Love that rain 🌧 part too!
I love speed time lapse shots. It make you look like a ant hill where each ant scurries around doing it's thing. As a kid you've watched ants work, right? Alot done fast!
It sure does. Wished I could move that fast in real life🤣🤣🤣
Would be awesome if the work got done that fast too. Lol
@@opybrook7766 I would hit that button every time.😀Except when on vacation, then it would be in slow mode all the way.
Lumnah Acres uses the outlet magnet and dywall screw they are great tools. Maybe you can hire or sell them to DIFFERENT when you are finished with them as they have a lot to do over in their place.
We’d be hard pressed to part with our beloved drywall gadgets! Lol But I also think Doug & Ashley are doing wood walls?
There's no such thing as too much blocking, imho
I'm glad you think so too because you never know when you have a poster size family picture in a 10# frame.🤗
Thanks for the heads-up on the drywall cutter!

rotozips are like dust bombs, not sure about the magnets, how do you know they are exactly lined up and not off a little
I've done dry wall.....it ain't fun. You did well......wish I had them fancy tools back in the olden days!!!!
If you haven't heard already they make a tool called the hole saw that works really good like cutting out that window
Drywall bits are really cool once you get a feel for it.
As always guys great job your bedroom will be done before you know it and congrats on the tractor keep up the good work be safe and God bless
Another great video. Looking forward to when you have it completed.
After many Goofsups with a rotozip , I finally kinda got the hang of cutting outlet boxes but I like those tools.
I love watching your family! Thank you for sharing! Sam as much drywall as you have put up, you can knock it out fast! Take care!
Love the fast forward filming and the tippity tapping of the hammer and other tools, once again you two what a fantastic team you make and I wish I was there for the storm
That storm was something else! 💦
I loooove that DeWalt 90° attachment. Comes in handy.
It looks so good now. That's such hard work; you make it look easy. Good luck with the rest...

The Sam stamp works for me ☺️. I'm in Indiana and we're having the same kind of weather 🌡️
Love your new cutting tools, it it so much easier that the messy old fashioned way
Hey Sam, Hey Angela, love watching y’all getting it done!

Looking great you two, I’m excited with the new outlet tool you showed us today.
I would have put insulation between bedroom and kitchen if it were me......but I don't live there. 😂😂

So good to see your bedroom renovation making progress! It was the last main internal renovation I believe.
Three cheers for US stuff!
Hehehe
I love to watch y'all. And the blooper are great. Y'all are awesome people. God bless y'all and keep up the awesome work.
