- I went fishing with some CRAZY homemade lures made out of household items. The lures I used were made from a toothbrush, a spoon, a cork, a bottle cap and a piece of rope. The challenge was to catch 1 fish on every single homemade lure. Fishing with these homemade lures was a BIG challenge. It was NOT easy. I had so much fun fishing with these crazy homemade lures. Fish Hawk micro mepps challenge using only a double 00 mepps minnow a double 00 aglia long and a double 00 black fury yellow spots on 3lb line spinning reel only use a fly rod instead of normal spinning rod

What's the old saying, fishing lures aren't necessarily designed to lure fish, but fishermen? This video reinforces that you don't need the latest wonderlure to catch fish. Kudos to the lure maker!

Great video! I actually started fishing recently, with the main aim to be able to eat good quality fish, which is too expensive to buy as a student.
I bought the cheapest fishing kit, which works surprisingly well, but loosing lures can't be avoided, so it really makes a hell lot of sense to build my own lures for cheap. In this video there are so many different lures, that I can actually fill my whole tackle box with selfmade lures😄 Great stuff!

I personally would like to see more footage of how the bait swims in shallow water even if you drug it back and forth by hand a couple times. No complaints on my end. Best video I've seen today.😎

Awesome lures. My grandfather told me he used to fish with shirt buttons when he was a kid. We used corn and hot dogs.

Craziest and coolest fishing challenge I've seen. Just put that barrel swivel on the split ring of the spoon. I got to try this tooth brush lure!

This reminds me of when I was a kid. I loved to fish but was to poor for a new rod after breaking mine. So I would go to the river in town every day and fish with string, hooks, and plastics that I had found. One time I found an action figure leg and just jigged it with a hook attached along a concrete wall and actually caught a few smallies n rockbass.

Check out Full Metal Minnow on Facebook and Pinterest. A local guy has started crafting lures from spent rifle and handgun brass. Popping the primer out and adding treble hooks and a brazed eyelet. He catches the heck out of fish on them. I have several I'm trying very soon. They are touted as "the only lure that makes fish bite the bullet" .
