its very important to show that the lure works, its doesnt matter if your lure has high-tech Transformer technology in it, if it doesnt catch fish, thrash it goes.
I have an idea that might help your success out.... at 7:25 you show us how to make a loop for the line to go. Maybe after cutting the wire and "tucking" it in the hole you could try soldering the wire together before applying the glue. This will permanently secure the loop in the front.
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
i wouldn't trust those wire loops just glued in there.....at least wrap the tag end around at the base of the loop otherwise your gonna be losing hooks in a fish, or just losing your lure
Hello, I have a series on my channel called "What to watch Wednesdays" where I feature a playlist of videos from other youtubers who I have either learned from, been inspired by, or entertained by. This week's topic is all about hand crafted baits and lures. Would you mind if I add this video to this week's playlist? Thanks for the great videos, amazing stuff!
Frog (green & white) or Water Beetle (all black) ✔️✔️ RECOMMENDED: Use Pipe Cleaners For Legs And Hot Glue Them Where They Go Through The Body 👍 Farmers Almanac recommends fishing 2 days BEFORE and 2 days AFTER the Full Moon. GO TO IT BUDDY !👌!
I see no ice is that "ice tea"... I smell shenanigans! Seriously though... nice job! Great idea! I do have one suggestion... thread a small snap ring through the loop in the bottom of the spoon and allow it to hang down. This will allow easier attachment of hooks and snaps.
I've watched your video with the plastic spoons and Paul Adam's video with plastic spoons. I like yours better because it looks cooler and you actually explain what you do he doesn't he just films. You should try a clothe lure next!
Hey nice bro i did one but the glueing part on mine went kind of wrong so instead of painting it i decide to wrap it up instead and the end it look pretty good just like yours
Love your into, mostly because you jump into the water with your fishing stuff like a boss :D
Can you put BB's in instead of filling it with glue to make a rattle?
I think you could.
I did
Nice idea man

it doesn't matter because you can always catch fish with anything. it just depends on the effectiveness of it.

I did this but the spoons were made out of metal and turned out great
It looks like crap. I stick with Canadian tire bait.
Anybody watching the new videos then the old ones?
You don't want to put lead in the water. Use a small sinker or bb.
you should make a video using all the old lures you made

You are good! nice job boy.
Super glue does not do well in water. Most components glued with super glue come undone when exposed to water.....just from personal experience
I use it for fly tying and haven't had any problems
this video helped me so much thanks man
This is a grate design nice job
DIY and gaming videos Thanks
