I run a card shop in dfw and this is exactly one of the reasons why we dont do cons anymore. I even did a little mock con for my local middle school, and the first year i had kids steal from my booth. Middle schoolers! There are sadly more and more kids watching these pricks do hot lick challenges or whatever and embolden them to steal from honest working people, but dont think through the other end of where the actual hell do you think you are gonna sell that heat buddy? Sad. These guys will know what it's like to steal big money. Bye-bye misdemenor, hello grand theft felonies..

This shit was planned very carefully. In a wide open conference room someone was stacking fucking chairs to blend in. Grabs the goods without anyone noticing. Looked to be the youngest of the bunch too. Word is they changed clothes throughout the day. This wasn't planned on the fly in a single day. Someone has had their eye on this dealer for weeks or months. The small details of this heist are too carefully orchestrated. The older accomplices are distracting the dealers to perfection. The female at the top of the frame is suspicious as well.
None of them looked at any cameras. You know they knew they were there. Some thieves are simply brazen enough to not care and someone experienced knows that looking straight at one is a sign of nervousness. The guy bumping the kid is definite post-grab jitters but everyone else was calm as a glass of water. Even the kid bolting with the case. He grabbed that shit like he owned it and knew the most direct route out of there while looking normal. Being caught on camera and actually caught in the act are two totally different things. Luckily it only takes one suspect to talk and the dominos start to fall.

The robbers are wearing clothes that appear straight off the clothes rack. One robber is wearing a "Boss" t-shirt. Another is wearing a "Hugo" t-shirt. The bucket hat and short sleeve white knit Polo shirts and their shorts could have been purchased at the Dillard's in Fairview, TX, which is a short 10-minute drive from the card show. If they were this clean with the heist. I would expect them to have a good getaway plan. For instance, they could live a state or two over. By the time this was recognized, they could have a car with two license plates so they swap it out a few gas stations down as they go somewhere. This is all the theories and information I've gathered from the jewel thief who has a TH-cam channel. They are definitely into the card business or at least know enough about it to plan this heist out. If I was them and I needed to get away with the cards to resell them. One knew of places that you could resell them to even if they know they are stolen for half the price is for sure the best option. It gets it off your hands quick you get money and you're on your way. According to the jewel thief, this is what he did. Now I would assume that is not the case for these people. What would work in their favor, is to crack the cases and send the cards across different grading services, slowly. And resell them to pay for the more expensive cards. This would take a very long time to sell off probably upwards of two years. Since there are multiple people involved in this, I would expect they all want some part of the money. Aint no way with that many people involved this heist is not going to get turned over.
Honestly, if they get away with it completely, I think its more of an issue with police but I still have some questions for the vendor. Like bro, you really brought a case that's worth 1.5 million to the open public, and on top of that while taking a booth down that wasn't the absolute top priority to put in your car or whatever. Like dude everything else can wait, you literally have a large amount of money sitting in ONE briefcase while your entire booth is being taken down. Kinda stupid and weird they would just let that happen.
