Within minutes I am followed on the public path and harassed. We seek authorisation to fly and its granted. Yet the employee has other ideas....

That cop just couldn't get it through his head that one gains permission from the aerodrome to fly in an aerodrome controlled no fly zone. The CAA governs the airspace not the cops. It is the cops responsibility to contact the aerodrome if they want to see the authorization. The pilot and the caa's dealings aren't always passed to the local plods.
if you hear the cops say "apparently"...prepare for some bullshit, if they say "obviously" they are about to offer an opinion. if they ever ask you "do you know why we are speaking to you" either do not respond or say "to abuse your powers" or "because you are bored" or "that's only something that you can possibly know" or ANYTHING at all apart from "yes", never admit anything. Notice how, in this video, no matter how polite the 80008 cop is, he kept trying to make out that the cameraman is at fault, and will not accept that it is HIS job to check with the airport authorities...as that way he will have the full facts and that is NEVER what they want.
And if they say "Fine" they know you have bested them, and adopt other 'illegal' methods.
