So a detective inspector( paul crompton) hears you tell him that his officers were illegally threatening to arrest you & he just ignored it & just wanted to talk about the feelings of his staff. This to me sums up modern policing…..they care about 3 things….the Police, The police & the police

I've never seen that with the anchor. That's a good one.
There never used to be a threat to police officers. In the 70s and early 80s the police regularly housed their constables together. My town had a row of around 20 houses on a particular street that was known as the Police Houses.
If the police feel as though they are not safe within the communities they live, it’s a problem that they themselves have created. When they were independent and actually policed for the community they did not have a problem.
Can't fault that logic, mate. This isn't Northern Ireland during the Troubles. If pice are afraid of being identified by the public they are doing something wrong. Nothing to fear, nothing to hide. Remember that?

DJ, I am a Retired Police Officer. I used to work with The Detective Inspector and can say that he is a VERY good Police Officer. The First Officers to arrive were a disgrace. What I was always taught was that you can come up easier than you can come down. The main speaker of the two gave me the impression that he was an angry man. He really needed to wind his neck in a little and approach the situation with a more professional attitude. "You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" .G.
I would never challenge that he is a very good police officer I’m guessing where we disagree is in his public relations skills. I found him constantly interrupting and twisting words to fuel his narrative. Maybe it’s the ego or maybe I’m missing something being that I’m from Canada.
then you were a crap cop as well and probably just watched the same as the other officers since he was a "very good police officer" which is a lie and I can tell he didn't act lie that with cameras around and you just trying to do damage control because of your feelings and the fact he kept twisting the narrative and bet you helped him violate people and lie guaranteed.
Awful control freak copper
I am a lawyer, and hold a private pilots license, so this sort of content is great to me. But the thing that astonishes me is police who think they're lawyers and prosecutors and not just police. They need to go to school if they want to be lawyers.
Lol this is so true its like a waiter trying to be a chef
And get an education.
how do you know what goes on in that building, there could be undercover officers there on very sensitive cases , it could be national security, or even witness protection. there are many reasons that some officers and buildings are not public knowledge and the same applies to their staff. would you think its ok to fly a drone over mi6 or mi5 at 20meters? these auditers are idiots who are just thinking about views and not adding any benefit to society or the wider public good unlike these hard working officers who risk their lives for us all ever day only to be confronted by some snivelling little weasel with a drone outside who thinks he knows better. its pathetic. as a fellow pilot id expect better from another pilot.

No signs saying Private Property
No signs saying Property of Police
No signs saying No photography of any kind.
No signs saying No drones, restricted airspace.
He is filming from a public place.
Police in the wrong.
I agree
DJE is too nice for his own good. Focus Pocus would have had them for breakfast.
Alarm, harassment, and distress, is an absolutely disgusting law. It's being overused by the police to detain people for the wrong reasons😢
Move to a free country
The only harrassment, alarm & distress in this video was towards the drone flyer doing a legal activity. Feelings plice is out in full force. "The employees don't feel comfortable". Do we have a feelings enforcement or law enforcement?
Your going to fetch the full weight of the police and goverment and the CAA down on yourself along with your fellow auditors by this constant filming of police premises, what do you really think is going to happen eventually? All is going to happen is you will spoil it for the real drone users who haven't got a fixation for police.Filming uniformed police on the street is one thing and is often needed but this is another level which will end new legislation.
@@johnallright6847 I would vote against any political party that would introduce laws that restrict our freedom, including laws stopping people flying toy drones over police premises.
I would vote for any political party that closed common police abuse loopholes eg harassment alarm distress, I can smell drugs, Section 43 Terrorism Act, Section5 PACE etc.
The law, as it is written, is ok. For it to be an offence it MUST include threatening or abusive behaviour. The thing that's wrong it that the police ALWAYS ignore this part of the act. The word offensive was removed because no-one has the right to not be offended. This guy, an inspector, left out the part about threatening or abusive behaviour. He's been leaving out for 27 years. But then again, he works for GMP, probably the most corrupt force in UK after the Met, so no surprise there.
What an absolute plantpot he was. I'm horrified we have to pay his wages.

For such a high security area I'm surprised they allowed an unattended car parked near the entrance, it also took them 9 minutes to make a challenge.
The first two officers attitude was a disgrace, even the way they identified themselves, it could have been his library card he flashed.
And they wonder why the public are hostile towards them.

The asian officer was the most professional there.
And that's not saying much. Hardly professional to waste all that time on nothing.
Police officers used to be respected members of the community.
Now, they don't want their neighbours knowing what their job is.
Too true. My father was a police constable and we lived in a house that had one of the old blue lights outside with a large police notice board and stone plaque engraved with "police House" on the outside. Everyone new where he lived and he was a well respected member of the community.
Unfortunately their all corrupt & don't give a shit about serving the public.

My concern is how quickly that idiot at the start was 1) hiding his face? really 2) and jumping from one law to another to press HIS opinions on laws he clearly has abused in the past. 3 He teaches that pile of bollock police understanding of the law onto every police officer he trains with. Plus they way the lower courts behave in "minor" cases like it or not its guilty till proven innocent, so I have no doubt he has charged someone that has been prosecuted thanks to "corroboration" by another gang member sorry officer

The state of Police these days
That first officer seems hyped up on steroids. Really suspicious.
This video demonstrates how Non Player Characters fit in to the community. The police force seems to attract many. The bizarre thing is how they have never heard of auditing, and ‘don’t get it’. They also seem to gravitate towards members of the public. I wonder if they get a sort of energy from proximity of human beings 🤔
How can an officer ID with a warrent card if he has his face covered? Total bellends
He threaten you with arrest for some sort of offence. His own words. That would be a great court case to prosecute.
If you want to see a major building with a complete LACK of security I recommend British Airways' headquarters at Waterside, just west of Heathrow. I walked in there without being asked to show any ID at all and was even taken to the uniform section to have a fitting.
I live in Ashton and we are getting burgled left right and centre. Where are these officers when burglars roam free? The whole of Manchester knows what Nexus house does as well....not so covert really. It has been on at least one detective TV programme.

Nobody got faith. In. the police anymore not even me
Everyone must now wonder, why there is an underlying threat to police officers, when we encounter someone like him.
Really? Your scared of a guy with a camera?
Those police officers come across as right yobs.
“I’m a police officer and I don’t know the legislation..” that was comical.
I suppose threatening a person doing something completely legal is easier than doing something about knife crime.
I can see all that's in this video from Google Maps and Google Satellite - cops just want to intimidate, dominate and escalate against anyone they think is small enough for them to go after.
Wow. That copper is an absolute wrongun. He could not handle that situation whatsoever. Thought he was ultimate authority and hated his lack of control of you. Proper dented his ego that. Then soon toddled off to moment he got a chance. Seems like he's levelled up in the force in his position, so i would expect him to have so much more control of his emotions? Muppet bloke!!!
The arrogance and love of tyranny from these clowns is mind boggling!
Another TERRIBLE interaction with the UK Police. Egos out of control with a threat of arrest. No wonder the 1st out of control ‘threat to public safety’ scuttled away as he knew he was digging a deep hole.
They need to use this for "training" I know that's a dirty word in the police but HOW NOT TO BEHAVE with members of the public (AND ON CAMERA?) One wonders what their behaviour is like OFF CAMERA?
"You can do what you like"
"I know I can"

Here's my prediction. Within 12 to 18 months, legislation will be introduced in the UK to make it illegal to fly a drone over any police premises.
fair enough but that is not the law now so the plod makes things up .
The only problem with that would be the lack of notification that a building is a Police building. They are trying to keep a lot of places off the radar.
If they geofence, then it will give all their locations away. If they don't have signage, then they have no excuse.
Try an amendment to or abuse of The National Security Act 2023
This will not happen. Nothing seen from a Drone risks health, safety or preparations. The Police were widely canvassed in discussions before this legislation & they made the views of the Police known , this is all about CONTROL the police do not like anyone doing anything they can not control

Even after 27 years service he is still clueless 🙈 and the first 2 I have no words. Zig and Zag 😂🤣
Those first two cops are an embarrassment to the police force and are a strerotypical reason why the police are so widely distrusted by the general public. They've abused their powers, abused people's legally protected activity and have acted in a threatening and abusive manner, and they do so knowing they will not be held accountable, as their colleagues senior officers just turn blind eyes to their offensive and abusive actions. Don't get me wrong there are some really good coppers out there but unfortunately they seem to be few and far between, and ultimately fail in their duty when clowns are allowed to act with impunity.
1 man flying a drone over a police building knows more about the law that 4 officers 2 of which are high ranking. Tells you every thing you need to know about modern uk policing. They used to be respected now they are hated for this exact reason

Wow. Approaching with hostility, faces covered, looking like villains, immediately interrogating and threatening, a member of the public. That is the mentality of most police officers: you are a liar, until proved, you are not. That one needs to be released back into the wild, he is dangerous to the safety of everyone, with his hostility. They need to remember CALM: chat, assess, limit, monitor.
In the case of cops Cross-examine, Alarm, Lie and Manhandle.
I didn't know a police officer could be alarmed and distressed. Just something I read in case law.
Correct.
They can't, DPP Case, Judge Bean said, they can't be Alarmed or distressed, if they do then in the wrong job, having said that he lied, he did, as usual fly low and zoomed in the windows.
It’s funny how the police don’t understand what harassment means. Public photography can’t be deemed harassment. And other auditors would sue the department for being threatened with arrest. They always say… “you’re looking for a reaction.” Well, even if he was… he is still doing legal activity and you’re still giving a reaction! If you’re curious… that’s fine. Ask and know what is legal activity and leave them alone. Arguing your bias morals on strangers is not illegal but you can’t push someone to do something you want. You’re not his daddy or boss.
23:09 - "Are you auditing?" haha he's so smug with himself, only took me about 15 mins to work it out 😂
Every time that it is raised that an
officer does not ID themselves, they change the subject
When an officer doesn't identify themselves, just call them officer Dibble (Top Cat), Dibble was incompetent.
The advice is when an officer fails to identify, call 999
"a police officer may not be a person who is caused harassment, alarm or distress by the various kinds of words and conduct to which section 5(1) applies."
There are civvies in that building, they would be making the report. They'd use that excuse.
So I watched this entire video and still have no idea what is going on that building? What is the building for?
Complete bullocks from the DI, asks a question and then as soon as an answer is being provided starts talking over DJE. Stupid. None of these officers apart from the 3rd who didn't say much.
That whole terrorism threat, is a worry for all. Why they rise themselves over others and their safety is astounding. To be threatened with arrest, a person other than an officer, would have to reasonably feel harassment, alarm, or distress. Police have a much higher threshold to overcome for distress. This has been deemed by the courts in the UK.
That the police don't like it, is tough. They can petition the law makers and ask for the law to be changed.
Retaliation threat of arrest is unlawful.
