When will people realise that the PIP assessment has absolutely nothing at all to do with seeing how much PIP money the DWP should award you. It's all about finding out how much PIP money the DWP can avoid paying you - world of difference!

The assesment is about face to face communication , Bodily Functions etc etc the Questions are just a Formality and mean nothing! So if you made it to your Face to Face you Failed Mobility Assesment, If you Understood and Answered any Questions you Failed Engaging With Others, Communicating and understanding etc etc and the Fact you Made the Minimum Distance Required to the Assesment Room, opening Doors n climbing Stairs means you failed the Bodily Functions!!! Also your Appearance is judged!!! So if you have a Carer that sees to everything then this is their Day off! Go 3 days without sleep, 7 days without wiping your ass, close your eyes when choosing your clothes, Drag yourself through every bush backwards on the way and stand in as much Dog Pooh as you can stomach! You'll be so out of it and look the Part that they'll find it hard not to give you a Full Award!!!!

My partner has bipolar and told she cant work by her mental health doctor and team. She has an injection every month, and takes meds at home too. She doesn't get any pip ,or any money or help at all. She was told she doesn't meet the criteria, but doctors have written to pip,and still nothing. Because of all the stress, she now wont even try anymore because it makes her ill. Maybe that was the ploy, not to pay pip. Disgusting!😢

That was exactly why❤ sorry to say, there’s no fairness, it’s all underhand & unspoken rules that apply now! They keep triggering people by ignoring the whole truth, until they give up & .gov celebrate because their plans work❤ i have Bipolar too but because i also have M.E (Chronic Fatigue plus other illnesses) i got PIP eventually. That was 14 years ago, i had to go to Tribunal twice even then!! They have always tried to discourage claimants but now it’s been taken to a whole new level. It’s so unfair and i understand why people can no longer engage with a crooked process & just want to manage their daily difficulties in their own way. At least your partner has a good medical team & that’s saying something now days. My Doctor could not & would not be able to fight her way out of a paper bag🤨 let alone speak up for a patient!! Deaf, dumb & blind, just like the 3 monkeys 🙉🙊🙈!! I wish you & your partner well ❤

Bipolar doesn't mean you can't function enough to live, bipolar means Mood Swings, just because one can't work doesn't mean they automatically qualify for PiP! With a valid Sick note one would qualify for ESA which is a little more than UC plus Council Tax Benefit and LHA if renting so just enough benefit to securely live on, PiP should only be given to those who can't function enough to survive Physically or Mentally but not for Phycological Disorders Shrinks are there for those who need a Kick up the Ass to get Motivated!!!👍

You’re entitled to a mandatory reconsideration….failing that you can then appeal….as much evidence as you can get the better…I went from being on medium rate daily living & low rate mobility award for 3 years…i then had to re apply for a new award which thru covid I had to have a telephone assessment…I knew I was up against it and was awarded low points…not even enough for low rate on either to then doing a mandatory reconsideration and getting high rate on both daily living & mobility….work that one out…🤯 I think half the time they refuse just to see if you’ll settle for the knock back….i have severe emphysema and severe COPD…venous insufficiency and mental health issues…depression & anxiety….the other thing is there’s no end of folk who have blagged the system that much they’ve ruined it for others…and now rishak or whatever his name is says they are gonna be clamping down…its sickening when the system don’t even put our own folk first 🤬

For example a few years ago mental health was extremely notoriously difficult to claim on pip , it gained publicity and i think as a result they have overcorrected at the expense of other evolving conditions. Our conditions are vastly different but honestly i think youre mote deserving than i am despite javing being locked inside through anxiety for a decade.
