Scott ! I know this question doesn't pertain to this video *** But do you still keep in touch with james ? Think it's time for another video with him ! He was great and a pretty good fisherman !! Thanks dude ! Keep the good work up ! Bless !!!
Great video and I am excited that a clear bottom paint is available. One thing I'm curious about is the sacrificial properties of the bottom paint. How long between re-application? is re-application as easy as first application. Please keep us posted because this could be a game changer for the industry.
Hi Scott , great content ! If you'd like to see what real Super Paint is then take a look at bayrippers Velocity we just did 300 microns 7-10 years 2k Super Paint that is Hydrophobic and Hydrosealic and is Chemicle Resistant. ❤
Guys, don't take this the wrong way, I'm just trying to help. I have this on my boat, this is not anti-fouling bottom paint. This is NOT for boats that are kept in the water! If you keep your boat in the water you will have to find a way to clean the bottom every couple weeks. I was not told this when I had it done and after 3 months I had growth like it was never painted. Yes, it pressure cleaned off but that's $300 every 3 months. Also, it's clear, which sounds great but when you start to get growth, within a week the bottom of your boat is now yellow/brown and honestly it looks like shit. Don't make the same mistake I made. If you have a trailer and pull your boat every month or so to clean, its ok. If you keep the boat in the water for a weekend here or there, it's fine. If you go to the sandbar every 2 weeks and want to spend your Saturday underwater, brushing the bottom of your boat, knock yourself out. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but yeah I'm disappointed. I spent $3500 to put "the latest and greatest" on my boat and should have just had it done in black bottom paint.
dont really understand the purpose of this. Guys say dont wax your hull because it can cause some drag. I dont think this will work on my boat, since i got a keel protector. Then again im not going for speed in a deep v glass boat...
Great product looks like! If it gains speed, and it looked like it did on your Freeman, and keeps maintenance down, winner winner chicken dinner!! Lol Great info, will check it out! Love ya'll ❤
@@ScottMartinChallenge how’s it holding up? I’m on a hull diving page and hull maxx is coming to a realization that the product is absolutely trash. It will cause severe fouling if you leave it in water, how’s it look after a week or 2 of cleaning? You shoulda left the clear coat and saved your hard earned money.
I did boat bottoms as a kid and we would use future floor wax or scatt (brand not poo) for boats that wanted that clean look. But that was for fresh water.
I don't think it will reason being when chemicals mix and they don't match it will cause a reaction right away his boat didn't do that but I could be wrong
Lmao it must be nice to have people give you free products to put your name on it. I've owned many boats and never noticed any drag issues from coated to non.
I hope it works as good as Clark Griswolds did on Christmas vacation!👊👊👊

scott how much is a boat like that
Guy said in video around 700k
He said "several", not '7'

Hello Martin, just wanted to know how the Hullmaxx paint is holding up and if you still recommend it. Thanks
will it work on a bass boat in brackish water?..Chesapeake Bay
Kickass video Scott! Learn something new everyday.
Scott thank you for more great info. You always go above and beyond!
Your welcome!!
Trust me, DONT TAKE YOUR BOAT TO CATARMARAN BOAT YARD!!
If it doesn't make the boat go faster what is the point?
No way! I saw this boat out today hooked on a sailfish 😭
😎
If it works that great then sell it to the Navy for a million dollars per gallon.
😳
That's awesome!!!

Looks like just a clear epoxy. Kind of like the speed coatings ; bet they have like 99 percent profit selling that resin
I wonder if you will be getting a new fishing boat for nexts year 2022??? Pretty exciting
New Skeeter coming
That’s awesome I can’t wait to watch you win one this year Boom!!!

You're always thinking of something epic to improve your fishing! Love it! Keep it up👊
I am sure this must be a stupid question, but why are you painting the bottom of your boat?
A whole new season from Team Martin. Looking forward to your Classic Run.

@@ScottMartinChallenge All the tournaments you do even if you save 10$ every few tournaments on gas that can add up.
I'm worried it will eat the wrap...Time will tell
I don't think it will reason being when chemicals mix and they don't match it will cause a reaction right away his boat didn't do that but I could be wrong
It should be perfectly fine
Awesome boat
Thank you
