Having flown this inside I thought it might not be so good outside in a little wind but I was wrong. If you select the higher speed modes it is actually very good.

Winner! Hard to fault RC ERA. I think they should go into the business of selling small medium and large sizes of each model as they have got the fundamentals so right.
So true man, RC ERA is awesome ! Is changing the market ! This is the first true cheap 3D version to scale I guess, I'm waiting for my LAFD version to arrive !

Le Bell 206 a toujours été pour moi, et restera une des machines les plus élégantes jamais dessinées et créés par l'homme. Quel que soit l'angle sous lequel je le regarde, au sol, et bien sûr en vol.

The helicopter looks so beautiful because of the combination of the rotor head and the blades are white. It would really detract from its appearance if they were a darker color, like black. It would look less impressive and pleasant to the eye, at least in my opinion.
This Bell 206 is for me the most beautiful, élégant, nice... "sexy" machine drawn by human. You can look this this hélicoptère from all the sides, it is always so plaisant to see.

Love it . Looks realistic in the sky. RC ERA have done a nice job on this model. I'm guessing a few more companies will come out with their own version of this Iconic Helicopter.
I suspect they will. This has been their most successful helicopter to date. Looks and flies good and isn't a lot of money. It's selling like hot cakes!
@@EssentialRC Nice. They are bringing out a new colour scheme by the end of July . It's a German Polizei scheme of Grey , Blue and Red .
Tips for a better landing pad. Use a piece of astroturf or similar fake grass, staple it to a piece of plywood and paint an H on that. The astroturf helps to dissipate the rotorwash and lowers the ground effect altitude. It also increases friction between the skids and the pad to help you "stick" the landings. I fly an rc era c189 and the astroturf is way better than any smooth surface.

I the air on the field this little fellow looks really great! Unbelevable that it cost's less than 100 dollar. Some people pay that much (and more) for a couple of bigger LiPos!
what does the switch "Debug mode"mean on the control panel?
RC Era has already announced an upcoming "Pro" variant of this Bell 206 (C138). With working navigation lights and some other "small" improvements. It comes in silver, blue and red (Austrian police livery). I am sure, it will cost a bit more then.

I wish you could buy these as kits so you can custom paint the body. Hard as hell to paint when it's assembled. Gotta do one as the Santini Air Jetranger as seen in "Airwolf".
I disassembled my RC Era C187 (mix of EC-145/EC-135) and it wasn't that complex. After removing all the outside screws you only have to "carefully unsnap" the fuselage. It is not glued together. All the internals are mostly build into a removable "chassis", except the tail rotor. I'll use "Revell Paint Remover" (1-Methoxy-2-Propanol is the same, but cheaper) and after that, I will airbrush both parts of the fuselage. You can also buy different water decals from model shops (online), but you need to know the scale of the model. The RC Era C138 Bell 206 is 1:33.

Yes. I confirmed that with the supplier for Blue and Red.
