Excellent review! Thanks! One Sweet Blade! LOVE the location! So tranquil, the sound of the running water lull's me to sleep! Ha! You make the feather sticks look so effortless! Wish I had the mastery of feather sticking like you have! I'm a clutz when it comes to the more delicate work. 👍
Thank you! It definitely a sweet blade! I thought you cant top the GNS handle. But this apparently did. What a great all rounder! Thanx for watching, have a great day!1🌲🔪🌲❄️🌲
I LOVE my LT Wright Rogue River. Actually, I love all my LT Wright knives. He's my favourite maker, by far, hands down. Youre stsrting to get a nice little LT collection going! Good for you! 👍🏻
This blade is effing phenomenal! I love all my Lt Wrights, but this might be favorite. Great balanced bushcrafter, pure and simple. Haven't yet to test an Lt Wright knife I didn't like. Great functional knives, meant to be used. Thanx for watching my friend, have an awesome day!
The more I've used them the more I love them. They are just highly usable and reliable blades with great designs imo. Not cheap, but I think they are worth the money. Thanx for watching, have an awesome day!🌲🔪🌲
Yeah, I love the looks of the Micarta on this one. Thought that GNS cant be beat with handle comfort, but this might just done it. Have to do more thorough comparison. Thanx for watching, have a great day!🌲❄️🌲
Shocking video! The large northern hunter and GNS have been replaced as your favorite L.T. Wright knife? Crazy. Just joking, of course. I enjoyed your review of the knife, the setting and even your rant about the weather. Take care, my friend.
Haha! This one's a keeper for sure! Didnt believe you can top the GNS handle, but this one might done it. I should do a comparison video of the two! Thanx for watching, have a great day my friend!🌲❄️🌲🔪🌲
Another interesting knife from LT Wright. I have to start considering ordering LT from abroad (USA), because I'd sooner be in the grave than I can order LT from Finland or Europe... 😂 Those knives are always out of stock here. Also the LT's Woods Monkey folder would be interesting, I've never seen it on the European market. Thanks for the video, have a nice weekend!
Oh yeah they go very fast always.. I think probably directly ordering from the states is the way to go. I absolutely LOVE this on. Such a balanced blade. Went directly to one of my favorites! Thanx for watching, have a great weekend also!🌲❄️🌲
@@OldForestBushcraft Where do you usually order LT Wright knives? I've been browsing DLT Trading the last few days and there seems to be a good selection of matte finish LT Wright knives. Do you prefer a certain courier service USPS vs FedEx?
I’ve ordered LTWK straight from DLT trading, bought second hand and traded. In DLT there is the Outback’s still left. One of the rarer offerings. Considering getting one allthough my wallet screams😂 @@Elamori
@@OldForestBushcraftThanks for the info! I think I'll wait for the LTW Genesis and order one through DLT. I already blew my money on Helikon Tex clothes and Esee knife.
Yes, it has the exact same ergonomics as the Esee RB-3, sweet Knife, but MUCH better quality!! LOVE Mine! These are a propriatory design and sold ONLY in the US at "Knives Ship Free". It is their design and they get LT Wright to produce them!
Sweet, that Esee Camp Lore Reuben Bolieu puukko is next on my shopping list. Last month I got Trivittata puukko and it has been the most comfortable in the hand so far, at least for carving wood. I just returned TOPS Tanimboca knife because it had poorly ground (uneven) micarta handle pieces. Too bad because it also seemed like a pretty comfy knife in my hand, although it had a slimmer handle than the Trivitatta.
@Elamori Sorry to hear that. I reviewed both knives and have a 35 minute video I'm considering uploading. I used Rhododendron wood to test the 1095hc on both blades . It's a long video cause I wanted to abuse the apex on that very hard resonated wood. I did the same text 5 times as I did in the vid , both knives have stayed sharp through it all . Just a strop for 2 minutes is all I did, no sharpening. I do like both blades, but after using them a ton, I gotta say the Tops came out a winner. I do like the comfortable Condor handle, but once I began using both for carving and notching, that square handle just works . I found that the rounder condor grip slips in my hand, and after long use, it causes fatigue. My opinion really surprised me cause at first I was more drawn towards the Condor. Both are awesome , but man, that Tops with my own scandi vex I put on it is just excellent. I'd like to try out their Dragonfly 4.5, it's on my want list .
It does have the same vibe! Never heard of that knife. The handle with this insanly comfortable to me. Just perfect. Might even top the GNS. Lt Wright is just killing it with handles have to say. Thanx for watching!🌲🔪🌲
More knives should have thumb scallops, they are nice. I love a knife with a bit of belly too. Looks like you have a fantastic addition to the collection.
I agree after now using this I really am liking them!. I really couldn’t be happier with this one. And yeah, loving the belly! Thx for watcing Tim, have a great sunday!🌲🔪🌲
So True! But must admit! The first time I held my Rogue River, I KNEW! I knew immediately THIS would be MY perfect Bushcraft knife! It was just an overwhelming feeling, like it was molded for my hand! Perfect fit, excellent ergonomics! Just a GREAT design and LT has pefected this knife, just love it!
Man braucht keine Genehmigung in Finnland.

I've been looking at the Esee RB3 , it gives me the same vibes as this knife. Very comfortable looking handle , it just looks like a good tool.
