Guys there are few corrections to the information that has been mentioned in this video. The 2014 duke 390 had 300mm front disc where as I mentioned 320mm front discs which is actually present on the new 2017 duke 390..and also the dry weight of the old duke 390 was 139kg dry and goes upto 150kgs with a full tank. The dry weight of 150kgs that I mentioned in this video was that of the new 2017 duke 390. Basically I mixed up a couple of new 390specs with the old one. Guys don't hesitate to correct me if I have provided any wrong info. I will do my best to provide accurate information in future vlogs..Keep supporting 🙏😁
Once again very well executed . Only some love the raw 43bhp power and 35NM of Earth shattering torque coming from a single cylinder mad machine ....good going with the vlogs #sharzfilms
Nice Video Buddy!!! Btw, are the older Dukes so bad in Reliability, actually i want a bike for everything, i love naked but i love the handling of faired supersport bikes too!!! I was thinking for a bit used Mt15 or New Apache rtr160 4v, but as i searched ktm under 1.2/1.1L on OLX, i got many 2015 and older versions of ktm duke and rc 390!!! What do u think, will it be a good option???
Dude if you want to buy old 2015 duke 390 then you should be prepared to spend a lot on its maintenance in exchange for explosive performance...so if u are ready to pay the premium and if you can deal with the heating problems then u can go for an old 390. They aren't too unreliable as such. But they do require bit more attention than other bikes and they keep having minor problems like coolant leakage , shutting down due to over heating etc etc so some people get irritated coz of that. If u can deal with those issues then u can go for it
@@pudge9985 you can fix the overheating easily by installing a piggyback ECU, add some more fuel it will help cooling. Also try flushing the coolant for some engine ice. A lot more tips are found in the Rc390 + Duke 390 forums! 👌💯
Thanks to your video i upgraded to a 2014 390 Duke from a Yamaha Fz25.. Have clocked 3000KM on it now and i can say i made the best decision by switching to a 390 from a Fz25.. Only drawback i felt was hard suspension on the 390 and thanks to our Bangalore roads its not the best ride quality.. however i fixed that by making the rear monoshock suspension softer.. BTW 2014 Duke 390 run for 17,000 KM was the bike when i bought it.. anyone can guess the price ?
and regarding the heating i really dont face the issue as i bought the bike for weekend short rides and for track racing..strictly not for commute or for city riding. so i get no heating issue and bike has never stalled yet due to overheating :p .. top speed i hav got : 173
Really happy for you bruh , the duke 390 is definitely not hard to live with if you use it on the weekends as you said. Commuting can also be done but as u said in Bangalore's bumper to bumper traffic I don't think commuting on a 390 is a gud idea. As ur bike's engine had run only 17k kilometres when u bought it, I think u have picked up a really good deal. Enjoy ur ride and ride safe bro❤️😄

Sure dude you can go for it , just make sure it's in good condition and also note that u might have to spend a bit more on maintenance compared to other 300cc bikes...but in exchange u get explosive performance and that's worth it I feel.
@@milans3747 I agree the bs4 and bs6 models are easier to live with..but if you can deal with the engine heating issue , bs3 models will run just fine with proper maintenance.

Would u recommend getting a second hand 390 duke previous gen for touring
Yes the old 390 can do touring duties quite well...just make sure you don't go too hard on the accelerator if u want to avoid low mileage.

Which is the best bro from duke 390 raw power or duke 390 new Bs6 model
If you want the raw power thrill go for the bs3 version but if you want more reliability and easier to live with bike then go for the bs6 duke 390
Thanks ❤️ bro but with the quick shifter and auto bulper and the heating effect is also less so which would be best
as an overall package bs6 390 is best but if u are only looking for raw power then nothing can beat bs3 390
