I bought this bike on April 4th, 2014. I watched this video like more than 100 time before buying the bike, literally. I still ride the Duke 390 and I'm still in love with the bike. Came back to this video to feel nostalgic. Love it!!!!

i wanted to buy this bike. but my dad was not ready to buy it. i lost all my hopes. instead i got apache 160 😳.
then my friend meet with an accident on that bike. the bike was fu*ked. then i begged ki duke 390 de do dad 😂.but he said no and then i saw this video and then i fallen in love with you guys 😍.
i showed this video to my family and they got impressed and now i have duke 390. thank you guys because of you i have this beautiful duke 390.

Power Drift Guys i want to tell u this .... Till last week i never ever like duke or any naked bike but after seeing this i loved this duke and the comparison u guys made this with aston martin . I initially want to buy cbr250r but then i changed my mind to duke. On next day i went to KTM showroom in chennai and test ride 200. Got quotation for 390 in chennai . And i will buy this bike by end of this year for sure :) U guys changed my perception about Duke this is really bad mate ;)

You Indian riders are getting on the game. Great review, really funny. These KTM Singles are good bikes, but if you guys think those are fast, wait until that Hero Hastur 620 comes out with that EBR developed motor and chassis. Parallel Twin DOCH liquid cooling, about 80 horsepower and around 40 ft-lbs of torque. Its going to be even faster than a Suzuki SV650... a lot of roadracing can be done on a twin like that. Your heads are going to explode when you review that Hastur 620.

if the Duke 690 is any faster than that 620, its faster because its CHEATING with more displacement.. a 690 would de-qualify itself from the 650 V-twin category.Arguement settled. Besides the 620's wet weight is 100lbs lighter than the other 650s.. I don't think the KTM would be able to beat that weight. The Hastur would still probably be faster..

Manoj Kumar Ok I just looked at the Duke 690, its a Single cylinder engine making only 64hp.. what are you smoking over there in India? The Hastur is Twin cylinder.. that Duke 690 would get eaten alive!

bought it few days back, completed 1000 kms in rpm limit asap, and then after finishing the first servicing opened the throttle to the fullest... my smile only got wider and wider...( even in rpm limits it reached 90 km/hr smoothly ) awesome... awesome machine. haven't had this 'warm engine' startup issue mentioned in this review so far. wht i do agree on is, this THE safest FAST bike in India right now... god bless ABS... this monster is a great value for money

Hi there Powerdrift! Big fan of yours. It's been a month that i bought it, i loved it's figures, that's the reason i bought it, but HATE THAT AUTO RICKSHAW EXHAUST SOUND! 😑 single cylinder that big of an engine it doesn't work out for me. Can you suggest a slip-on exhaust, which is easily available online or in india? Which atleast adds BASS to the exhaust sound! Thanks. ✌

Same here but my mud guard along with saree guard fell off during my last ride. Screws broke from both sides, where mud guard gets attach to the main body (Swing arm). watch out for this

MrDefining it is already in my uploads and i dont know own any 180HP bikes, i just have a Duke 200 and a Duke 390. The people in the video may sound like they are going over the top while reviewing the bike! But thats just because they are passionate,not because they think its a Hayabusa!

We are in the 10th year since the Duke 390 was first launched in India and bang we got the new Duke 390 with 399 cc engine... What a timing!!
just to give u insight into its power, yesterday when i was on ring road in bangalore, i was suddenly up against a 800 cc , 94 hp triumph tiger. inspite of its almost double power, my d390 managed to hold it up well for quite some distance before it overtook when my speedo read 144kmph. that shows the amazing power to weight ratio of this bike.but things could have been different if there was usual peak traffic on the road, then my d390 would have given serious fight with its devastating initial acceleration.truly it punches above its weight

Am watching this in 2023. Am Using duke 390 from last 6 years. it's the only king. U will always love the power of this beast.
I started with multistrada 1000, then r1 1000.
Nothings wrong wit riding both of it.
But then 6months ago,when i stated to ride a smaller ninja, i ended up on hospital bed for 15days.
3broken ribs, punched lung,body full of scars, lost a finger, really took my confidence in riding again.
5months of daily rehab past n after watching this presentation, u guys brought confidence in me to ride again.
Already booked one last week.
Hopefully with all this safety features, i can enjoy the excitement of riding again.
