My sister-in-law got a call from her son yesterday. Her son said: "Mom! I need help. I've broken my nose and I'm scared". My sister-in-law said that hearing her child's voice in need was terrifying. Luckily, she called her son's school, and found out, that her son was fine. it turned out it was a AI scammer!!! She said it was 100% her son's voice on the phone call.. This is just a reminder to anyone out there: KEEP YOUR CHILDEN OFF THE INTERNET!!!!
Taking Della out of the equation; The person who did this to them is absolutely disgusting. They did this to multiple families. Innocent families who weren’t exploiting it. I’m disgusted by that behavior and I feel so sad for all the families she did this to.
It’s very strange considering they weren’t actively trying to get money from the couples. This seems almost like a weird hobby of the girl just to get showered with attention
@@kellymcsherry I think the messages from the “mom” are very telling as to just exactly how she’s exploiting them for money without outright asking for money. Talking about not having enough to buy maternity clothes, being upset about not taking her to Disney… I think this girl knew exactly what she was doing. And I’m sure the attention she was getting from the families was part of it.
What della vlogs did was one step away from posting an ad on craigslist asking if anyone was selling a child. It's like the rich privileged version of human trafficking. (Not saying adoption in general is human trafficking, just that crowd sourcing a baby in the way they did puts everyone involved at risk and commodifies a child)
Listen closely, she often says “I FEEL” rather than “I AM”…. “I FEEL so happy. I feel so thankful.” This puts distance between her and what she’s saying. It’s unintentional, but very telling.
I mean the other families weren't with a following and still had it happen. As do manyyyy other people. They don't discriminate. The only thing they had in common was being in a very vulnerable situation really wanting to start a family. Really think people are missing they've been on the journey of wanting to do this for years it's not like they woke up yesterday and said oh hey let me adopt
We have been trying to have a baby for years with so much grief and loss! Finally it looks like I am having a baby this coming spring! This baby will NEVER be online for everyone to se. With how things work today I just dont want my child to exist online without their consent!
Sorry but I don’t feel sorry for them. They are foolish. They should have gone through a legit adoption agency and not depended on their followers. This was and is a recipe for disaster. The fact they are sharing all of this and not keeping it private says a lot.
@@hill9833 10 other families, it sounded like were going through the steps to adopt these fake babies as well. This situation has been covered on shows like dr Phil before.
I hope your video gets taken down, she went through IVF for 5 years your evil and you should look at yourself sicko and they were millionaires before you tube wow your literally as bad as that scammer gross
@@staceyerikson4982 I'm not saying I'm a fan. They were effective in how they posted these videos. They went viral. I don't usually give these kind of channels my view, but I watched both videos. I was worried for the safety of the babies. I was relieved that the babies didn't exist. It's a truly evil thing for someone to fake a pregnancy and get couples hope up. They were so blinded by the hope that it was true to even consider it could be fake. I feel bad for their families. It did seem odd that their family/friends were mostly only super excited about the twins part.
Another reason this isn’t okay is because your future child’s adoption story is their story to tell. Not your story to tell the whole mother effing internet.
I think your points on not being ready to be parents to a human are so valid. I say HUMAN because so many people just view having children as having cute babies and little children and dress up dolls. No, children are sponges and need parents who are intelligent, mature, empathetic, and selfless. I am shocked how unbearable this video is watching two adults act like a child going to the pound to pick up a puppy. It is a massive red flag that they were not mature enough to go through proper, legal avenues to protect them AND THE CHILDREN. It’s just another sign that all they think about is themselves and not going through the proper procedure because those procedures are set up to protect the children. It makes no sense that they set up a baby nursery and put out a video with a gender reveal of children who were not legally theirs. It would’ve been pretty gross to do a gender reveal even if they were their children but that’s just what influencers do. But I just don’t understand how they have so much support from people when they skirted all the rules and legal steps and then we’re surprised that it wasn’t legit? Also how cruel to their families to put them through this. I cannot imagine my parents would put up with any of this.
First thing they need to do is learn to not be so naive. They say "she" put them up to doing the nursery, buying everything in twos, doing gender reveal. If they are gonna follow that easy, good gosh, they are easy targets for blackmail. At what point do you step back and take control.
And this woman hadn’t been to a single appointment with the agency. Wouldn’t there be some give and take? Like, we don’t feel comfortable buying all this stuff, telling our family and friends if you haven’t had your initial meeting with our agency/lawyer We don’t want to get emotionally and financially invested if this isn’t going to happen. Isn’t that fair? Just seems so counterintuitive.
As someone who struggles with infertility and is currently undergoing her second IVF cycle after the first one failed. This absolutely breaks my heart. People who monetize this topic are just cruel and insensitive.
I hope and pray this round works. I just finished my IVF yesterday. Just a suggestion... There is a yoga video that has 5 different poses that help with implantation. I searched yoga for Fertility.
They knew this was a scam. I knew it was a scam when they didn’t have a lawyer/adoption agency check. The fact that they told their whole family and had a gender reveal party without checking anything out makes me question this whole scenario. They’re liars. I don’t believe them!!!
Same. Crazy. The texts even told on them. At one point in the texts she’s 14 weeks and then they say she’s 20. When all is said and done she’s 26 weeks and they claim it all happened over a two month period.
What you said about the “god chose me” is so true, Josh. When we were struggling to get pregnant, i remember seeing doofuses like these dingleberries say this kind of stuff and think to myself “so what? Am i not worthy of being a mother???” Since then we’ve luckily caught up and were blessed with 3 beautiful children. And everytime I refer to god for these blessings, I’ careful to say “god chose me to be the mother of MY kids” because their souls matched mine, not because I was worthier than anyone else
I get that this is a horrible thing to go through but why do i get the impression this happened because they are more caught up in the dream of having a baby than the responsibility of being a mature parent? Anyone responsible would not go that far until papers are signed and babies are in arms. What if she was really pregnant but changed her mind? That would have been equally traumatic but still very feasible.
My bio mom put me up for adoption, she was 15 years old. Somehow my mom and her connected, and I was theirs. My mom couldn't have kids, she had a hysterectomy at 28. The gift My bio mom gave me, and my mom, is something that can't even be put into words. These people, should not be getting any children anytime soon
I didn't tell anyone I was pregnant with my last one bc I had felt with 5 other miscarriages prior to. I was 5 months almost 6 when I couldn't hide my belly anymore. I did that bc I didn't want anyone to hurt if I had another miscarriage. These ppl are WARPED. Unreal and so triggering.
Same here! I had three miscarriages following my first child. I only shared each time with select people, and only shared the pregnancy the following losses with even fewer and fewer people. Now that I have a “successful” pregnancy with my “second” I didn’t even make a social media announcement until half way through because it was so sensitive. I would think after the losses they faced with IVF they would learned to be more cautious or protective of their hearts. It seems like rather than coping and processing, they’re bulldozing through without consideration.
I had a very small support system when I found out I was pregnant. It was my parents and my coworkers. Basically the people I couldn’t hide it from when I would get sick or constantly feel under the weather. It wasn’t until my second trimester that we “publicly” announced that we were expecting because I’d had a second trimester miscarriage before my daughter and a chemical pregnancy right after her. I wanted to make sure I had someone I could talk to if I lost the baby, but also not so many people that it kept ripping the bandaid every time I talked to someone.
I've had 4 miscarriages. My most recent one was about a month ago now. I get wanting to protect your family and friends from the trauma of the miscarriage, but I've gone through it both ways. I've had to tell them as I was miscarrying and I've told them the happy news and had to tell them I've lost it. Both ways suck.
Absolutely agree. Fortunately I never had miscarriages, however, with the first pregnancy I told everyone ( except of parents, they we’re aware since the second month) around only when I was 4 months pregnant. With the second child it was the same… I was 39, and I told my parents when it was 3 months already.. I was afraid if smth went wrong, I didn’t want anyone be sad..
I am half way through the video and i am absolutely disturbed. We adopted recently and this is not how it goes. These are not the emotions that hit you when you get the news. This is not how you behave before everything is finalized and you have your baby home. I am speechless and can’t believe people like this would ever be allowed to adopt…
So glad you’re covering this! I emailed you the second I saw it up😂. Their part “2” is already up as well. I get it’s a sad situation I’m sorry but so cringy to post 2 videos about it!
I can’t believe anyone is this naive. But it’s also hard for me to believe someone would bring their whole family into this if they know it’s fake. Either way this is just shockingly terrible.
I can’t wait to watch this one! You called it from the start. They have all the resources needed to go through an adoption agency and not ask/rely on their followers….
According to the second video, the girl kept pushing off the visit with their agency. She was talking to 10 different adoption agencies as well...and she was never pregnant.
Even in the first message when she tells them she wants them to raise her children because she adores them so much, then asks if they would even be comfortable with meeting her in person... that makes no sense. If she adores them so much, she'd definitely want to meet them. And who offers to hand over their child to someone that hasn't been vetted and they've never even met?
@@annaf3915 I think she was asking if they felt comfortable meeting her. She was probably a fan and wanted to meet them. A fan who already feels like she knows them would immediately feel comfortable with the idea of them because they already know them. Either way, she never was actually pregnant so of course she felt comfortable handing over pretend babies.
I was adopted at birth. My biological father tried to fight for custody despite knowing about the adoption the entire time. It took 7-8 months. And I was officially adopted at 15 months. These things are not final until it’s legal. I hate seeing this “family” exploits their newborn. It makes me sick.
I’m not trying to be insensitive because I understand this happens to individuals, but does anyone else have suspicions about this? This video throws me off because they have admitted to staging all of their pranks and they have said how rare it is to adopt twins now claiming not to know that. I may be wrong, but is this a way to keep people engaged while they wait to adopt a baby? Would love to hear your thoughts
I don’t think they’d go that far because I truly think they’re torn up to pieces over their infertility journey BUT I agree that we viewers now have a reason to doubt BECAUSE of all the pranks they’ve admitted to before. Kind of a “boy who cried wolf” situation, if you will.
There’s a notorious woman who appeared on Dr Phil who was catfishing couples telling them she was pregnant with twins. Adoption scams are well known. I have a feeling Josh is right, they know it’s a scam
they admitted in their adoption q&a they would love twins but we’re told twin adoptions are RARE. so they didn’t see the red flags of “i’m pregnant with twin girls” knowing they’ve said it was rare??
Which is what you’re supposed to do. These people are idiots who did zero research into adoption and red flags to watch for if you are doing a private adoption and not through the agency.
Exactly some things you just don’t do. Like a nice welcome to the family party would’ve been appropriate when they are fully adopted and everyone isn’t in their faces and treating them like a dang prize. Just stop pass say hello, maybe a small little trinket like a blanket or a nice card from auntie but nothing more than that
I missed this one 4 months ago because I just told them off now fall of 2023 for taking a baby less then 6 months old to Disney World or Disneyland because it was the dumbest thing holding their daughter up...down...whatever way to enjoy the attraction they were at each time. CRAZY
Let’s not forget, these people are the same folks that ADMITTED to faking all of their past videos (pranks). How anyone could ever trust them going forward knowing they believed this was ok to do is something I’ll never understand. They are so desperate for fame and relevancy and I honestly believe they only want a kid because they’re feeling left out in their friend circle. They have a lot of growing up to do before they’ll ever be ready to be entrusted with a human life. And Josh, the Luyendyk’s are one of their “celebrity” friendships. I see them name dropping the Luyendyk’s as another “look how connected we are; we have Arie & Lauren on speed dial. We’re so close.” Arie was the Bachelor many years ago and now he and his wife exploit their children online as well. Again, they have millions of dollars, so why?! They’re all gross. So glad you’re covering this because these people are trash!
Oh he may be that as well. He was the Bachelor, race car driver, real estate agent, child exploiter… I’m not sure *how* these 2 couples met but Bella & Dallin love to brag about how they’re “best” friends.
I actually think it was the other way around. Bella & Dallin are AZ natives. At least Bella is. And Arie & Lauren moved here when he started up his real estate business years ago. Matt & Abby just recently moved to AZ so I think they connected with Bella & Dallin who then introduced them to Arie & Lauren. If you watch Matt & Abby’s videos with both couples, it helps piece things together. But that is just more confirmation that all these people are interested in are “leveling up” with content creators who are more famous then they are. I don’t believe for a second that any of these friendships are real. They’re manufactured to make these people money and fame.
My husband and I are starting the process of adoption. I posted in our city’s group for resources and someone reached out to me about a baby. I went in cautiously knowing that it could be a scam and that so much has to align for it to workout. We didn’t tell our parents it was a done deal. We asked for their advice and they echoed what you said Josh. RED FLAGS ABOUND. We also didn’t publicize or monetize this situation. I just can’t imagine. It turned out they were trying to go around the system and pick someone they wanted to control. We said no and are praying the baby is adopted with a safe family with appropriate boundaries. I just can’t with this video. It’s so irresponsible.
This isn’t how the real world works. I know plenty of people in my life who has adopted and they don’t tell anyone (except close family) till after they get the baby because this situation is so sensitive and it can change at any moment.
No one deserves to go thru that but watching it was gross. I watched their video and I'm sorry but no way are you getting my money or anything till I've put my hands on that bump or seen a live ultrasound. It's Karma and I don't mean that badly. They need to stop with the TH-cam BS and focus on life.
This seriously breaks my heart for those who can’t have children. My sister and I are both adopted but watched our mom go through years of IVF with no positive outcomes. People are just absolutely sickening
I just recently found their channel and I'm starting to think they're literally faking all of the adoption stuff. Their friends and family were hardly even happy on the video they showed them the baby they just somehow went and bought without anyone knowing. It's weird af and they need canceled before that poor kid is ruined by them posting her all over the internet 😢
I think what bothers me (as a person who has 4 adopted siblings and adopted nieces and cousins, and my parents have been foster parents for 30+ years)..... is their perspective on adoption... like God is "making" a child just for them. Adoption has so much trauma that goes with it. Either child is removed bc parent is unfit and child has gone through horrible things, or parent has gone through something and is choosing a better life for their child. Either way it is a sad (and beautiful) thing. They are CHOOSING to only see how amazing it will be for them, not what this child is going through. They are making it about themselves. And they're so fricking immature it's cringy... That other video arguing about who gets to get up in the middle of the night to do diapers or feeding 🙄 😒. Like I'm sorry but they have such an easy and sheltered life they don't know what's going to hit them when it's 2 am and babys been screaming for 3 hours straight 🤷🏻♀️😅
I will say, they mentioned that they didn’t know twins are rare to adopt… but in the q&a they made about what they were open too (race, multiples). They said they would love twins but (correct me if I’m mistaken) they were told it doesn’t happen often. ?? But now they didn’t know that? And were almost immediately “offered” twins in a insta message?!
I don’t think they knew HOW rare twins are in adoption. I mean twins aren’t as common to begin with so maybe that’s what they meant. As it would be more rare to get twins in general, so it would be rare for them to adopt twins. ??
**“Answering questions about adoption” video. Time :15:59, from Dallin’s mouth. “Was talking to an agency. Sees twins being placed maybe twice a year”.
@@lane4539 **“Answering questions about adoption” video. Time :15:59, from Dallin’s mouth. “Was talking to an agency. Sees twins being placed maybe twice a year”.
Correct. I believe they said in the video that their agency told them they maybe see 4 a year (don’t quote me on the exact number) but they were told that early on
I knew it was a scam from the moment they said identical twin girls and their lawyer wasn’t involved. We don’t even have a baby yet and that will be the first thing we got. I hope the agency sees this. This makes adoption look so bad and like they didn’t do any research. This isn’t the first time there was a scam. Also I was at my baby shower…..
Clearly y’all didn’t watch the whole video they found this person outside of the agency and she was suppose to meet up with agencybut kept putting the appointment off.
@@mchicken1 maybe she shouldn’t have solicited her audience then. she has enough money to go thru the correct, ethical, moral, and reliable channels for adoption. they’re just entitled and want it now now now.
@@StaceyJoy14there has been a bunch. Dr. Phil even covered it. There is a bunch of Facebook pages exposing scams. I don’t get how they didn’t see how it was a scam but I also understand the “blindness” they had. I struggled with getting pregnant. I had 5 miscarriages and 2 successful pregnancies. I’m 26 and had to have surgery to remove my tubes because of complications. Also had to have the inside of my uterus burned to stop all the cysts and bleeding. I could easily see how they feel for it but also they are so stupid for not asking more questions and pushing harder to get her to see their agency. I will say all the people saying they only wanted mixed twins are wrong. They just adopted a girl.
Bella is on the verge if not already has a serious obsession of wanting a baby. This is a huge red flag in the maternity world.. she’s someone we would call a “code pink” prospect, of stealing a baby. I hope not, but watch out!!
@@Latte-girly90 yes. It’s a drill in the hospital for infant/child abduction. Thankfully I’ve never witnessed a real code pink, but it’s something we prepare for.
I can’t stand either of them but I don’t really see seriousness in them in wanting a child. I think while they went through IVF and failed, I don’t see a true “we want to adopt”. This was all done for views and wanting to become more popular. If they truly want a baby they’d be with an agency. I never have seen them talk about this. They’re wanting their baby to come via word of mouth which rarely happens. I do believe she has IF issues and after 5 years I’d feel the same way. With their money, I’d hire a surrogate. I couldn’t handle breaking another woman’s heart to have a child. I’ve been through years of IF, child loss, and failed adoptions (we were approached by two moms) I’m actually thankful that the adoptions failed because as I said earlier I couldn’t stand for my happiness to be born out of another woman’s sorrow. I’ve also had a family member joke about me kidnapping a baby 3 weeks after my daughter died. Needless to say we’ve not spoken since. I don’t believe these two are ready to be parents they got married very young. And they seem very immature.
@@Latte-girly90 There are all kinds of color “codes” violet is for a violent or combative patient. Code pink is a very real code. It’s sad people would do such a thing.
Yes!!!!! I feel like I was the only one that saw this and knew they were doing it for views and want a baby now and can’t do the adoption process the way it should go. If they went through an agency they wouldn’t of gone through this. I think this was all done for views
What they're not considering is that, for the birth mother, this is NOT a joyful time. I've never done it myself but I've spoken to birth mothers (including my own) and being in a crisis pregnancy, deciding how to proceed, and facing the reality that you're going to have to do the incredibly brave and selfless but PAINFUL thing of giving up your child is heartbreaking and scary and anything but a happy fun youtube video. These people ought to have some respect for someone on the adoption triangle other than their damn selves
I came to the comments to see if anyone mentioned this. I’m sure if the birth mother had the resources to keep her baby she would, and they should respect the fact that their happiness is likely another woman’s heartbreak. This just makes me so angry because they arent showing any class or respect towards the birth mother.
So wild how they told everyone so early.. I remember struggling with infertility.. having shots and treatment in private and when I finally got pregnant I was terrified to tell a soul because I thought I would jinx myself. I would have assumed having been through this for 5 years .. they would have waited.. but there is no content in that huh
I watched ThisGatheredNest (years ago) and she didn't tell anyone, nor TH-cam, until they adopted Benjamin and surprised their other kids with him because they've adopted before and know the uncertainty of everything around it.
As someone who has dealt with infertility my heart goes out to them, however they are extremely naive. The way they handled this is just heart breaking and very cringe. I don’t understand why they did a gender reveal or set up a nursery without having any kind of paperwork or proof in place. Once they finally do have a baby they will 1000% exploit that child and that is wrong on so many levels, they are already exploiting the adoption process. Keep your children off the Internet people!!!
I had cancer at 20, and I HATE that there are people who lie and scam using such a traumatic situation and flat out lie about having/surviving cancer. That being said I do not know if I can or cannot have kids and it breaks my heart to see so many people who have kids as accessories when there are genuinely good people who deserve kids. The cost of IVF and adoption (without Insurance) can be 40-100k which is why people often adopt outside of the states.
I have had cancer since 2019 and was told I’d be sterile. But I’ve had 4 kids before this. But since I CURE my cancer naturally, I just found out I’m pregnant! It’s very possible.
Jean, IVF is not 40-100k. I’m only saying this because I know exactly what it’s like to face IF. I was told before I got married that I had PCOS and wouldn’t have anymore children. I had difficulty getting pregnant and didn’t have any living babies to date. But on the expensive end IVF is 20k but there are clinics like CNY with locations in NY, GA and CO that are compassionate with their billing. With medication my IVF will be 15k. Starbucks has IVF insurance that pays for most of the cost. Most employers though don’t offer insurance that covers IVF though. And people are going foreign not because domestic adoption is expensive it’s because it’s easier. But foreign adoptions can be twice the amount domestic adoptions are.
Jean, international adoption is actually much more expensive than local. If you adopt out of foster care, the cost is actually zero. But of course this path isn't for everyone (it was the right one for me).
We had a situation that parent was going to give their child to us right when they were born, DCF was involved and we were not allowed to var any interaction with the biological mother, or even see her. The child was born and put in the care of us in a separate part of the hospital. I had mixed emotions about this because I felt she should have least been able to see the biological mother, anyways the court sealed the identity of the bio mother that could never be open. Moving forward, 8 years later, DCF went to court and had the seal broken and felt the biological mother been a complete 180, and they felt she should have supervised visits with the child. My wife and I were young, and we didn't really understand what laws and whatnot were in place, We didn't want to go through with this but felt pressured and felt we had no choice so we sat down out daughter and told her the truth, she cried and and told my wife and I she didnt want to go, it broke my heart as a parent. Fast forward 3 years later, and DCF took our daughter away because they felt the mother was fit to watch her. I fell into a deep depression because I felt like I lost the love of my life, and the re was n9thing I could do. We had no contact with her. We called dcef got a lawyer, and he stated our hands were tied. 6 years later, and we never forgot about her. I was driving down the street with my 3 year old daughter and I saw here sitting on the side of the road I could still recognize her so I stopped and spoke with her, she was high as a kite, she told me she hated me for abandoning her and sending her to hell, she told me that she was abused by her mothers boyfriend and that they introduced her to drugs when she was 8 years old. I convinced her to get in the car and took her to out house, my wife showed her, gave her new clothes, and comforted her. I couldn't believe what happened and became extremely angry. She ended up telling me where she was located, so I went there to confront them. When I got there, everyone was high, and three small children were also in the house. I knew I should have called the police but rage swept over me, so I beat the living hell out of the boyfriend. Now I'm not a fighter, but something in me went off. The price came and tazzed me. I was the one that got into trouble and spent 2 years in prison.. The system is so messed up..
I mean the minute they said in a video that if one of their followers is thinking about giving their baby for adoption reach out to them I knew it had a very slight chance of actually happening. And in this new video when Bella read the text message and it said " I am expecting identical twin girls" I knew it was a scam. I think Bella even said before she wants a daughter so bad, they also mentioned how cool it would be to have twins so this lady who scammed them put it all together and made up a huge lie. I understand that they desperately want to be parents and probably was already living in the pink fog, so didn't really notice the red flags, but like you have an agency for a reason! The agency should be looking for someone who wants to give up their baby and not let the adoptive parents do dumb decision like this. I hope they sue that woman.
I CALL BS and had to look into their videos. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Notice how BEFORE they have any information on the gender of the baby, and she clearly states this in her video, there are only girls clothes hanging in the closet. Why buy dresses if you have no clue the gender at the time. I also don't see a "finished" nursery AFTER she supposedly finds out they are having twin girls. Why not show the theme and the room decked out with TWO cribs, wall hangings, color of the room ANYTHING? Did anyone actually see them "purchasing" any baby items at target except for ''looking" at it for content? It takes nothing to buy a crib and changing table when your getting thousands of dollars in views. This entire story seems like a complete lie from the start.
I cannot imagine filming my partner horribly upset about this kind of thing...but he's just filming her in floods of tears on the phone, devastated. I know that's not the worst part of that video, but I think it just epitomises their detachment from reality.
It wouldn’t surprise me if this was all an elaborate prank. How could they so stupid as to believe that someone would contact them to give away her children like she was giving away a dog? And no lawyers or adoption agencies involved, either? They’re either incredibly deceptive or just plain dumb.
I really think they faked the whole gender reveal and whatever else they did, because how are they throwing a party for kids they didnt comfirm even the pregnancy of, and even if they did they should know the mom can change her mind after birth!
Y’all clearly didn’t watch the video the scammer told them to do all of this they went through an agency she scammed the agency as well and many other families
@@mchicken1 why wouldn’t they at least confirm from a doctor or anything medical, the agency are clearly charlatans if they believe any woman that claims she’s pregnant, shouldn’t medical and psychological tests be included? I call BS on the whole story
@@mchicken1 I just watched DCP’s video. Unless I missed something, it looks like they did the gender reveal, nursery set-up, ect entirely on their own.
@@mchicken1 the scammer never was confirmed by the agency! She messaged them and she kept postponing the meeting with the agency. They decided to believe a stranger without any real evidence of pregnancy and did a party and nursery even though there wasn't any evidence! They met the woman she had a fake baby bump, their parents met the woman, no one at any point saw the fake belly? How can you do a gender party and nursery for someone like that?
Arie and Lauren Luyendyk were from the Bachelor. Arie was the bachelor a couple years ago and Lauren was the runner up when Arie switched and dumped the one he chose (Becca) for Lauren. Basically they’re influencers and they’re name dropping, like “ hey everyone, I’m bff’s with famous influencer Lauren”. It made my eyes roll when I saw that. Arie and Lauren were also on Matt and Abby’s podcast… which all feels bizarre, because Arie and Lauren are older than all of them, at least Arie definitely is.
For their friends and family-not all parents decide to find out at their party. But since they said they faked all pranks...I don't know about these two.
Thank you for covering this Josh! I knew you'd have an opinion as an adoptive dad on this situation. I can't believe they thought this was any type of a good idea, especially with a random fan texting about giving them twin baby girls.
1. I think she is actively looking for twins (for content) and won't take anything else. 2. They 100% knew this was a scam. 3. I haven't been this disgusted since Myka, and they should be forever cancelled.
The whole way they're celebrating seems so off to me. Just tone deaf. I feel like adoption of a new born is so bitter sweet. I can't even imagine where a woman would have to be, emotionally speaking, to put their baby up for adoption while they're pregnant. There's nothing wrong with being happy and excited to be adopting, but this is just too much over the top, and not even remotely taking birth mother into consideration.
Last video they said everything they are wanted/looking for in adoption, then asked viewers to PM them for leads on babies....I hope this doesn't influence teens to get pregnant just to give these people a baby.
This scam isn’t fake unfortunately. I am in the process of adopting and this person also contacted me. The difference is my husband and I aren’t completely naive and 2 days into texting I told her I want her to speak to our lawyer to confirm pregnancy. Then she said she wasn’t interested in moving forward with us. That right there was an alert for us that something was up🚩 and we left it at that.
My husband has a cousin who is a birth mother that chose adoption. She couldn’t even talk to the adoptive family without either going through her or their representatives. Once the baby was born and adoption finalized, they were able to have any sort of relationship they wanted, but until the legal stuff was done, they couldn’t even talk to each other through texts or anything. This is so sad but they are definitely capitalizing on it and that’s gross.
Here's my question and it might be a stupid question but can they tell the babies are identical before they're born? I didn't think they could but I might be wrong. That would have been red flag number one. This is just DISGUSTING. And now they've somehow managed to get a white infant in less than four months. People wait YEARS!!!! That's why people go to other countries to adopt. A white infant is in demand and they got Story(what a dumb name) in four months. So so wrong!!
If they’re using plays of the vlogger playbook they had all of this to create drama and make a video that went viral. Which is what happened. They have money. It’s crazy that it’s taken them 5 years to get to this point. It’s also crazy that they basically asked people on youtube if they know someone who is having a crisis pregnancy to send them their way. And I 100000% agree with the lady who posted on Reddit. It was all sus. Bella claims she researched but clearly that wasn’t the case. They have money and that opens doors and options. Now they’re making people feel sorry for them for something that was totally on them. And I don’t feel bad for them because we all know what they’re going to do with that kid once they get one. And that’s what we’re here against.
Adoption is an emotional experience. As an adopter you need to fully take on that adoption comes with pain from the birth mother and the baby. Trying to buy or influence you way into adopting is a dangerous path. Adopting is not like giving birth, its not a replacement for that. So it's ridiculous to do gender reveals and baby showers and inform everyone until the child is placed with you. And even then you stay in an adoption bubble of just bare minimum outside world contact to bond with the baby/child until legal documents completed. It must be very upsetting for them but the naievity is shocking.
They’ve since uploaded Part 2 and I couldn’t help but watch. It’s abysmal. You were so right in your predictions about it being a scam. The truth is actually worse!
Holy shit Thank you for commenting this. I…held out hope that IT didn’t turn out to be a scam the whole video but I’m so relieved that I don’t have to wait Watch and find out. I can’t believe this….. if it’s worse than a scam….Awful. I just can’t believe this whole freaking thing!!!!
@@renise011 a woman messaged them saying she was pregnant with twins, they met her.. She sent them fake ultrasounds, she asked them if they could make a gender party reveal, they did, they also bought everything for twin girls before having the pregnancy confirmed by the agency or the lawyers. Turns out the woman was wearing a fake baby bump when she met them, they, their parents and a birthing coach never realised she had a fake bump? They never asked to touch her belly? They never took her to an ultrasound, they didn't wait for the agency to verify the pregnancy and trusted a stranger.
The lady who scammed them has been doing this to multiple other families, which is disgusting in itself really. She was never pregnant, she faked every single scan photo etc.
I 100% agree Josh. This was allllllll FAKE. That last phone call was so cotrived and rehearsed. They know exactly what they're doing. They are making bank by sad fishing! Sickening and sad and repulsive! Imagine the sit down meeting planning this video. Who rushes to make a nursery. I've had 3 bio kids and didn't even start the nursery set up until I was at least 6 months pregnant. C'MON!
It’s really sad that they was scammed but at the same time what did they think was gonna happen, when you have such a big platform, hopefully next time they actually use the Agency
@alisamodin9032 i agree with you the hubby screams money hungry n bella looks like she just loves attention n is craving a baby as her new accessory, i unsubscribe after their new adoption scam vid, both of them are despicable🤮!
I wouldn't be surprised if they planned this whole thing from the very beginning just for the content and payout. No one in their right minds would go this far as to tell family and friends and have this big gender reveal party without knowing for a fact, with papers signed, that they'll get this adoption. I wouldn't be surprised if their family and friends were all in it too! Some of their reactions just didn't seem genuine enough to me, no Oscar nomination for that crew 🙄
The hypocrisy of Della vlogs sitting there going on about how they cant believe someone could scam them when Bella's Company Origami Owl is a mlm and basically scamming young girls everyday. I guess that's okay to them because they benefit from it. I realize these are different magnitudes of scamming, but really come on. I feel soooo bad for the other families that got scammed by that lady.
I felt bad for them when I seen a TikTok about their adoption being a scam but definitely not anymore. Just seeing their channel and how much they’ve exploited the adoption already is disgusting with the same bullshit like gender reveals etc, sorry but they don’t deserve kids cause no matter what their clearly gunna be exploited online :/
I saw this pop up and my mouth literally dropped. I refused to watch it and knew I just had to wait a few hours for you to cover it so I didn’t give them a view 😅 thanks for all you do!
I can't believe they told everyone before confirming that this woman was real. I think Bella genuinely wants a kid but exploitation is part of their job. They are awful for doing this to everyone in their life.
I'm a mom and I have my second baby cooking in the belly (19 weeks) When I saw how they “told their parents” about how they are going to be grandparents with ultrasound.. It breaks my heart I can't imagine my baby being still cooked in me, be shown by other parents like their trophies... I know it's all scam but it would break my heart and I would definitely change my mind about the adoption
We have 5 sets of twins in our family.. grandma , dad, my sister had 2 sets and my daughter has one set. The only set of identical is my daughter's. I honestly don't believe even she knew they were identical before they were born.
Exactly, I’m a twin mom myself. And while the type of placenta you have while pregnant can be a clue on if they are identical or not, the only true was of confirming if they are identical is by a dna test. And anyone who has had twins or is really pregnant with twins would know this. So soon as they said identical I called red flag!
This makes me so upset how rich influencers act like they can do whatever they want. Flim an adoption that never happened. You literally have to meet up with the birth mom, and if they decided you're a good fit. You have to have a lawyer or go through an adoption agency. They are literally rich it should be incredibly easy to adopt a child or baby. My parents did foster care for over a year. We had 13 kids come through our home. One girl we really wanted to adopt her we had her for over 6 months. Went through the process, just be told you're not rich enough, we will consider. Also, the social worker took her away because her mom told her to lie and said we spanked her. I lost my foster sibling. She went back into the foster care system. Now she's probably 18 now. I have no idea if she got adopted or not. It was heartbreaking after that my parents quit being foster parents. Also, foster kids couldn't even be online or have Facebook until they were 18 year old. So, how are foster children online for content. Adoption is private!
I dentist twins require genetic testing to verify if they are identical. It’s not often done in utero, but don’t after they are born. Some people do genetic testing in utero but they also are testing for other genetic markers as well. The person saying they are pregnant with identical twins was the immediate red flag for me.
Tons of red flags! But I will say as a mom pregnant with twins, you can tell if they’re identical with early ultrasound ONLY if they share a sac or placenta or both. It signifies that the egg had split. However that’s a very specific situation!
Agencies are coercive and unethical baby thieves. They intentionally tell mom's to say they don't know who the father is in order to terminate Dad's rights and adopt baby out. I mention this to you since your name is @dadsarepeopletoo I thought you might want to know that. It happened to my son. His daughter was kidnapped by adopters and we almost lost her forever but I got my son a lawyer. If this girl had lied about it, we would have never known. How is that okay?
Isn’t this the couple that was on scabby’s podcast? She admitted then that she put a post on Instagram basically asking everyone if they knew of any babies they could adopt 🤦🏼♀️ probably why this “mom” reached out to her on Instagram. Josh you even mentioned then that something like this was gonna happen!! So crazy
I believe they want children. However. The fact that they posted this and SO CLOSE to it happening and a gender reveal and telling the parents and NO CONTRACT! And monetizing the video!!!
Unfortunately, that is a type of mental illness
It is possible a birth mom didn't even exist everything was fake.
@@brucheweinberger6863 everything nowadays are justified by "so called mental illnesses"
Admit you're fucking crazy and that's that.
AGREE
As an adoptee, I approve this message. THEY NEED THERAPY.
100%
👍
Well said
Listen closely, she often says “I FEEL” rather than “I AM”….
“I FEEL so happy. I feel so thankful.”
This puts distance between her and what she’s saying. It’s unintentional, but very telling.
Andddd that’s why you don’t ask for a baby from your internet following.
Exactly they wanted random people to contact them to give them a baby, forgetting people on the internet can be crazy!
THIS
Exactly 💯
I mean the other families weren't with a following and still had it happen. As do manyyyy other people. They don't discriminate. The only thing they had in common was being in a very vulnerable situation really wanting to start a family.
Really think people are missing they've been on the journey of wanting to do this for years it's not like they woke up yesterday and said oh hey let me adopt
We have been trying to have a baby for years with so much grief and loss! Finally it looks like I am having a baby this coming spring! This baby will NEVER be online for everyone to se. With how things work today I just dont want my child to exist online without their consent!
Congratulations ❤
Martyr.
Thanks to the DCP I’ve taken my child off the internet completely. Im very thankful for helping me open my eyes.
Sorry but I don’t feel sorry for them. They are foolish. They should have gone through a legit adoption agency and not depended on their followers. This was and is a recipe for disaster. The fact they are sharing all of this and not keeping it private says a lot.
They did go through an agency
Yeah, these two don't need any children at the moment.
Good point!
Like, we don’t feel comfortable buying all this stuff, telling our family and friends if you haven’t had your initial meeting with our agency/lawyer
We don’t want to get emotionally and financially invested if this isn’t going to happen.
100% agree.
Totally agree with you!! Just pure evil
Same. Crazy. The texts even told on them. At one point in the texts she’s 14 weeks and then they say she’s 20. When all is said and done she’s 26 weeks and they claim it all happened over a two month period.
I felt the same way, they knew. It's so weird. At one point she said baby. Thought it was supposedly 2.
EXACTLY
What you said about the “god chose me” is so true, Josh. When we were struggling to get pregnant, i remember seeing doofuses like these dingleberries say this kind of stuff and think to myself “so what? Am i not worthy of being a mother???”
Since then we’ve luckily caught up and were blessed with 3 beautiful children.
Yes exactly!!! They're more exciting about "having a baby" then realistically setting themselves up to be good parents.
Thankyou for sharing your story made me smile😊
💗🙏💗
They didn’t fake anything watch the video
It seems like a marketing thing. Either way they are getting money either from excitement for the would be moment or pity from the heartache.

I can’t wait to watch this one! You called it from the start. They have all the resources needed to go through an adoption agency and not ask/rely on their followers….
Wait....they relied on a follower to adopt? Who does that?
@@tracy3418which is already a red flag and they should have clued in 🙄
I was adopted at birth. My biological father tried to fight for custody despite knowing about the adoption the entire time. It took 7-8 months. And I was officially adopted at 15 months. These things are not final until it’s legal. I hate seeing this “family” exploits their newborn. It makes me sick.
How do you feel now knowing your bio dad fought to keep you but was unsuccessful? Did you ever form a relationship with your birth father/family?
I’m not trying to be insensitive because I understand this happens to individuals, but does anyone else have suspicions about this? This video throws me off because they have admitted to staging all of their pranks and they have said how rare it is to adopt twins now claiming not to know that. I may be wrong, but is this a way to keep people engaged while they wait to adopt a baby? Would love to hear your thoughts
This can’t be overlooked
I don’t think they’d go that far because I truly think they’re torn up to pieces over their infertility journey BUT I agree that we viewers now have a reason to doubt BECAUSE of all the pranks they’ve admitted to before. Kind of a “boy who cried wolf” situation, if you will.
Me… i feel like it was all planed out… didn’t seem real at all
There’s a notorious woman who appeared on Dr Phil who was catfishing couples telling them she was pregnant with twins.
As an adopted mum I did not celebrate until those papers were signed and my boys were in my arms
This is disgusting 🤢
Which is what you’re supposed to do. These people are idiots who did zero research into adoption and red flags to watch for if you are doing a private adoption and not through the agency.
Exactly some things you just don’t do. Like a nice welcome to the family party would’ve been appropriate when they are fully adopted and everyone isn’t in their faces and treating them like a dang prize. Just stop pass say hello, maybe a small little trinket like a blanket or a nice card from auntie but nothing more than that
@S They never went to the agency which would have verified if the woman was actually pregnant.
@onesweetangel1017 bingo!!!!!!!!! Which requires a blood test! Well in my experience
And that sounds reasonable, something that these people are NOT!!!
I missed this one 4 months ago because I just told them off now fall of 2023 for taking a baby less then 6 months old to Disney World or Disneyland because it was the dumbest thing holding their daughter up...down...whatever way to enjoy the attraction they were at each time. CRAZY
Just saw their video was posted earlier today immediately wondered if you were gonna cover it! Can't wait to watch this Josh! 😃
He was the Bachelor, race car driver, real estate agent, child exploiter…
I’m not sure *how* these 2 couples met but Bella & Dallin love to brag about how they’re “best” friends.
Thankyou so much for covering this Josh!!
I'm so glad you immediately covered this. I watched part 1 yesterday and wow. I was holding out for your video before I moved onto part 2

Why would she have a camera on her when she finds out it’s a scam? Does he video every phone call? 😂
This isn’t how the real world works. I know plenty of people in my life who has adopted and they don’t tell anyone (except close family) till after they get the baby because this situation is so sensitive and it can change at any moment.
I was adopted back in 98 and I would have been so angry if my parents did this to my siblings and I!

Josh you’re the voice of reason, these people need to hear this. They’re not thinking clearly!🤦🏼♀️
I can’t deal with the fake laugh/crying AHHH 😬
I think Bella was jealous because Matt and Abby had there son so she thinks they need to have a baby because there friends are having babies
Bella is on the verge if not already has a serious obsession of wanting a baby. This is a huge red flag in the maternity world.. she’s someone we would call a “code pink” prospect, of stealing a baby. I hope not, but watch out!!
Is “code pink” a real thing?
I freakin knew she would get scammed when she was asking for people to contact her on social media.
She wasn't pregnant. The lady who contacted them faked the pregnancy
Thing is they have money, but money can't buy everything js
I came to the comments to see if anyone mentioned this. I’m sure if the birth mother had the resources to keep her baby she would, and they should respect the fact that their happiness is likely another woman’s heartbreak. This just makes me so angry because they arent showing any class or respect towards the birth mother.
This was my thought too
@@Catchingfireflies19 yeah it clearly can't buy class
So wild how they told everyone so early.. I remember struggling with infertility.. having shots and treatment in private and when I finally got pregnant I was terrified to tell a soul because I thought I would jinx myself. I would have assumed having been through this for 5 years
.. they would have waited.. but there is no content in that huh
I watched ThisGatheredNest (years ago) and she didn't tell anyone, nor TH-cam, until they adopted Benjamin and surprised their other kids with him because they've adopted before and know the uncertainty of everything around it.
Family vloggers make it seem like adoption is the same as having a surrogate.
Very true
Because to them it is.
Yes. Even in canada. And people pick how and could say no.
@@table.for_6 how do you cure it naturally, if you don't mind answering? I'd really appreciate it 🙏
Jean, international adoption is actually much more expensive than local.
The ultrasound pictures look like the one you can print off line. 🤦🏻♀️
why did they tell everyone and do a gender reveal when the mother was never in contact with an agency, just text messages sent back and forth?
I felt the same when I saw that part… like who cries with a phone in their face over something so actually traumatic
She doesn’t need a baby. She needs therapy. This is insane what they’re doing. I’m shocked this is real….
I started watching her video but it was unbearable. I need the snark lol CANT WAIT I’m so glad you’re covering this
I’m so glad you made this ! Those people are seriously unwell.
I am so glad you’re commenting on this.
I laughed so hard when she did the “dolphin noise” and it hurt your ears😂
It’s sick that if this was truly traumatizing to them - they were willing to exploit their own trauma? Ew
or maybe there warning?

Arie and Lauren Luyendyk were from the Bachelor. Arie was the bachelor a couple years ago and Lauren was the runner up when Arie switched and dumped the one he chose (Becca) for Lauren. Basically they’re influencers and they’re name dropping, like “ hey everyone, I’m bff’s with famous influencer Lauren”. It made my eyes roll when I saw that. Arie and Lauren were also on Matt and Abby’s podcast… which all feels bizarre, because Arie and Lauren are older than all of them, at least Arie definitely is.
I’m *so* confused about why they posted the “gender reveal” video when they said they knew about this for 2 weeks?!?
So many red flags.
For their friends and family-not all parents decide to find out at their party. But since they said they faked all pranks...I don't know about these two.
We did the same with our daughter and it was a lot of fun. A ton of adoptive parents do this for family and friends.
@@heidiiiiiiii Do you think this could be THEIRS prank..? That fans could get some interesting news and feel sorry for them..?
They said the "birth mom" requested it, so she could have the party.
I 100% believe this was all fake, down to the messages. They made the whole thing up for content. There’s no way they’re this stupid.

How was some random fan able to send her text messages like that? This is awful no matter what the truth of the situation.
Messaged them on social media first then they exchanged phone numbers.
9:19, you called the baby in the womb CHILDREN and I LOVE IT
Parents aren’t questioning about a contract because they know there is no contract. They are in on the scam. This is so obvious.
What's truth? I can't listen them.... it annoys me.
What actually happened? Don't want to give them the views.
Imagine being upset at being exploited, Yet your plan was to exploit the "babies"
They DID NOT connect through an agency, they were randomly contacted. As bad as this is, I feel like they knew and TOTALLY capitalized on this!!
@alisamodin9032 i agree with you the hubby screams money hungry n bella looks like she just loves attention n is craving a baby as her new accessory, i unsubscribe after their new adoption scam vid, both of them are despicable🤮!
This was so weird. I have no idea why they would post all of this. It’s totally an addiction to attention
They totally did
The hypocrisy of Della vlogs sitting there going on about how they cant believe someone could scam them when Bella's Company Origami Owl is a mlm and basically scamming young girls everyday. I guess that's okay to them because they benefit from it. I realize these are different magnitudes of scamming, but really come on. I feel soooo bad for the other families that got scammed by that lady.
They 1000% faked this. “This better not be a prank” why would you say that if it wasn’t secretly fake? She gave herself away so easy
They have said in the past they faked shit for videos . Who’s says they have stopped now !? They are gross !
I can't believe they told everyone before confirming that this woman was real. I think Bella genuinely wants a kid but exploitation is part of their job. They are awful for doing this to everyone in their life.
I feel like this was all planned out… doesn’t feel real to me, the gender reveal?! 🙈
I'm a mom and I have my second baby cooking in the belly (19 weeks)
When I saw how they “told their parents” about how they are going to be grandparents with ultrasound.. It breaks my heart
I can't imagine my baby being still cooked in me, be shown by other parents like their trophies... I know it's all scam but it would break my heart and I would definitely change my mind about the adoption
I showed my family my ultrasound pics. It’s normal to be excited and share the ultrasound pics. Trophies is not the right word!
Identical twins share a placenta and the amniotic sac (or part of), which can be visible on an ultrasound.
As an adoptive mom, 30 years ago, it never occurred to me to film. We went through an agency. It played out nothing like this. This is cringe worthy
It was also 30 years ago.
