In 1991, my grandfather filmed the moment the social worker walked off the plane and down the corridor to hand me to my parents and brother. People who were on the plane watched with excitement. My family brought small cupcakes and fake champagne to celebrate. I LOVE that my grandfather filmed it all, and it is fun to see how excited strangers were, but these were strangers that were genuinely excited to see a young family adopting a child they had just flown across the country with. The video is still on a VHS tape and has never been posted online and... it has just as much if not more meaning to all of us! Social media didn't exist then. Only genuine emotions. Seeing the love my parents and my brother who was only 3 at the time had for me is beautiful. They could have filmed it and kept it just for their family. The way it used to be when people filmed their families solely for their own memories, and it would be beautiful and so special to that sweet little girl.

I was also not a cute baby when they got me 😂 I was malnourished because the foster family was not equipped to care for an infant, and I was sick when I was born. Yet everyone still looked at me with all the love in the world. They were all so concerned about if I was warm enough coming from a hot to cold climate and my breathing after going from low to high altitude. It just gives me all the emotions and makes me so sad to see such a beautiful moment for that child that should be cherished between her and her new family be exploited.

My cousin is an instagrammer, she adopted 2 little boys and the court document states that she is not allowed to share their names, date of birth, or images (including the back of their head) (we are from Scotland, the court argued it was to protect the children due to past trauma in their previous home and not wanting the family to locate them as there is no contact allowed). Her followers are completely unaware that she had children, she shared her infertility journey then just posted hat she was not comfortable sharing anymore and would g back to fitness content. she doesn't even let family keep photos or videos on their phone, she sends close family physical photos in the mail from time to time

It's ridiculously dangerous! Not all children are voluntarily put up for adoption some are removed. The parents or an extended family member could see and recognise her, it's putting her in a crazy amount of danger now and throughout her life. I pray they see sense and stop posting her. Imagine a person turning up at her school or the local park and saying hi we're your biological parents or even worse taking her!!
Did the adoption agency not go over ANY safeguarding with them 🤯got are they just ignoring the advice because money and attention means more to them.

„Everything is said and done, she’s ours” - Bella said on the phone to a friend. I don’t know American laws but don’t they have to SIGN some papers first, doesn’t the mom have time to change her mind? From what I’ve seen on other ppl’s vlogs - adoptive parents usually meet the baby and take care of it, have a chance to bond with it from the very beginning BUT there’s like 48hrs for the birth mom to decide to keep the baby. It’s really weird here, plus I don’t really feel like they really care about the baby itself, it’s more like they’re excited about what comes with it. Also - people asked on the phone about the baby’s name - she completely ignored those questions. One more proof that even the most intimate and memorable moments are just content material to them - she couldn’t say the name cause then they wouldnt be able to do a super over-the-top name reveal. It looks too much like selling a human to me, sorry. It’s not the fact that they’re rich, it’s….. everything. Gross. The conspiracy theory that it was a surrogate doesnt seem too far-fetched either.

Not sure how but Della Vlogs came up in my feed for some strange reason, and I watched a few videos of theirs - mostly trying to figure out this whole baby situation. They can't have babies so they make a huge thing of adopting twins, then her song comes out ,then the adoption "fell through" as a "scam".....THEN the real baby comes along. Why was the scam adoption from a black mom I wonder. And why does the actual baby look very similar to them I wonder. And the timing of the song all twisted in there to over-dramatize and over-emotionalize a situation that is already major and heavy and personal and SHOULD be private. And THEN right out the gate their daughter is exploited just like we knew she would be. Something is just so fake about these two. I know this video is already a year old, but I had to chime in.

That baby was most likely at a foster family home. And a social worker was most likely there as well. That baby was probably under the States care, and until parents could be chosen/found & hospital discharged it can't be kept at a adoption agency. The mother could have not been able to care for baby or if it was her choice etc. The baby has to go somewhere & be under someone's care legally. I've known foster families through the years, including my brother & wife whom had a baby from hospital because mother was unable to legally & physically take care of baby and this is very normal. We don't know all the details since hopefully they will keep that info quiet. It seems they didn't meet birth mother in person.

With having personal adoption experience.. The family that they picked the precious baby girl from is called a respite family/home. Dallin and Bella went through all the process and paperwork you have to do to be open for adoption. Yes absolutely when you go through a private agency you are contacted by the social worker that there is a mom that has had a baby. The babies file/case is sent to you. If you move forward the mother will be given the opportunity to review different families profiles.
Do not speak on a topic if you do not have knowledge about it.
Della Vlogs is a wonderful family who have the love, hearts and home for a child.
The profile that the mother reviews (based off of personal experience) is a album/autobiography about your family, likes, dislikes and pictures that you think the mother would like to see.
This video is so hateful. This video does more harm to people than anything. Have you experienced 5 years of infertility? Have you experienced multiple rounds of IVF treatments failing?

Like he said, they took time each "scene" to set up the camera, check the frame etc rather than just be in the moment and meeting their daughter. It is all so contrived and this poor innocent child has to grow up realizing that they are a commodity. Her adoptive parents cared more about their social media presence than they do her. It's one thing to take snapshots and clips of momentous occasions, its a whole different thing to film the whole thing and then upload everything to the world. People like that are truly gross. Babies have survived thousands upon thousands of years - mom shaming isn't a good look. I get people's concern about filming children.. I 100% agree with that stance, but you picking apart a one second clip of her picking up her baby "wrong" is nuts. Be careful living in your glass house - that energy will come back to you.

I also wanna add she’s been extremely ignorant on motherhood, and showing everything is perfect, idk if you’ve seen that short she posted showing how perfect she feels and how easy it is to care for a baby.

Lol.. this wasn't a proper adoption. I guarantee this is the baby of a very young, vulnerable woman.. who watches them.. or who's Mum does.. and they have become so parasocially manipulated by Della's plight (the same plight that has been very financially lucrative for them) and they are giving the baby for the wrong reasons. The whole thing is disgusting.. on so many levels.. and should be illegal.

@@natalielawrence8809i just find it so strange that the biological mom can know the identity of the adoptive parents. It’s not allowed in my country, and only the child has a right (once 18) to go to the Police to get a permit for the file to open and know the details of the bio mother. If the mother knows the details of the adoptive parents, can’t she harass o ask for money? Or tell them, before the adoption is finalized “give me money and I ‘ll chose you”?

Very telling how many times she says the baby is cute. How the baby looks is clearly very important to them. Also the focus is very much baby, baby, baby. Do they realize they are not going to stay a baby and eventually they’re going to be parenting a toddler, a school age child, a grumpy teenager and then an adult? It’s the whole package people. As a mother of four, who’s currently parenting a very moody teenager, who hates me some of the time, I would do anything to go back to when she was a baby and was cute and loved me all the time. Parenting is hard and it’s a lifelong journey. The baby stage is short and is a very small part of the whole parenting picture.
