    I'm here in 2024 and I have to say that this recipe right here is IT! I followed your instructions to the latter and the sauce came out perfect. I don't know why youtube doesn't bring your video when you search for "how to make aganyi sauce" but I'm happy I found this video!

    I’m here wondering where this video has been! I’ve been all over TH-cam, trying to find the perfect ayanyin sauce, & I must say YOU OUTDID YOURSELF! Bravo!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I’ve been spending $18 for ewa aganyin that I’d eat in one seating, & now I can make mine! You have no idea how happy this makes me feel. God bless you! So, if I’m getting you right, the sauce doesn’t have to be saved in a refrigerator or freezer but in room temperature, but for how long can it be stored?

    • @Veeluvstocook
      @Veeluvstocook  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ m glad the video was helpful. Yes, you do not have to refrigerate. The oil on top will serve as a natural preservative. Mine goes for months ( I have had it till about 6 month before my sauce finishes. )

      @@uduaketuk4054 good Question. An authentic /original ewa agony Does not require seasoning. The chilli pepper if well fried mixed with the salt will burst your tastebuds. That said, cooking and palate are subjective and depend on the individual. If you want to add seasoning feel free...

If you add the crayfish and feel you like it better then go ahead. However, crayfish Have a tendency to burn fast so please be mindful of when you put it. I will say, wait till the very end and keep a constant watch on it.

    Thanks for this video, do you rewarm it when you want to serve, cos it can solidify in the jar.

      @Veeluvstocook  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Titi Plug yes but not much it is just to get the oil melted. The beans or whatever you are serving with would be hot anyways and you do not want to keep reheating at high temp that will get it burnt...I hope this answers your question!

    Hi Vee, thanks for laboring to share this recipe with us. I noticed that you didn’t add any seasoning besides salt. Does this recipe not require it or is this just your taste? Thanks for your feedback

    • @Veeluvstocook

      Hello. Ywc. To your question: I dont add seasoning to mine cos I find the developed flavor from caramelization of onion and the Chile pepper sufficient for me. I dont want to overpower it with any other seasoning.
      That said, you can try both methods and see what works for your palate😊.
      Happy cooking.

      Cooking taste is subjective.but I will say it will not be the authentic agoyin sauce flavor

      There will be salt in your beans or yam, so it not compulsory in the sauce.

    Can we use the fresh version of these peppers for this?

    • @Veeluvstocook
      @Veeluvstocook  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will take forever to get it to be gritty except you are willing to really desired and devein the pepper and use little to no water to blend it.
