    You are such a sweetheart! My Japanese wife and I make Peking Duck for our friends in Japan and the US all the time. They seem amazed that our pancakes are so thin and delicious. Then the real surprise comes when I tell them that I made them! They cannot believe a man could do such delicate work - so paper thin! Work? It's easy and fun to make them. Thank You!

    Thanks so much for this video! I've made these pancakes twice now! My family loves them! I put a small square or circle of parchment paper on the top of the pancakes in the steamer so the water doesn't ruin the top pancake and it works!

    We are having Peking Duck tomorrow night, but I can no longer eat gluten, so wanted to see how to make these pancakes myself. I will be trying your recipe with gluten free flour so that I can still eat the same as my family. Thank you!

    Hello - just made these and the method was perfect (apart from my inability to roll a circle), but I thought that 320g flour & 180ml hot water was a bit dry and had to add more water. I used strong bread flour instead of all purpose - could that have made a difference? Many thanks anyway!

    Hi Mandy. Only discovered your channel and loving the videos. Already tried a few recipes and they've turned out well. One thing I would like to see though is some authentic Chinese breakfast recipes. What are the typical dishes eaten for breakfast in China? It would be great if you could share a few recipes. Keep up the good work👍

    • @SoupedUpRecipes
      @SoupedUpRecipes  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are a lot of types of breakfast in China. I will give you a few examples:
      Noodles soup: th-cam.com/video/_OiGJUdpGUI/w-d-xo.html
      wonton soup: th-cam.com/video/aGKhjvfqCBk/w-d-xo.html
      steamed bun: th-cam.com/video/FWb1-_Q3szo/w-d-xo.html
      tea egg: th-cam.com/video/NNDyuZ0RsEs/w-d-xo.html
      breakfast street food: th-cam.com/video/kgc4rFv63oA/w-d-xo.html
      I am from Guangzhou, Northen China. So I eat Dim sum for breakfast. I do have a playlist for Dim sum: th-cam.com/play/PLaBxSZfJwNOGA-455zInC-nUQkPzpBMxe.html
      Just in case you don't know what is Dim sum, here is the link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dim_sum
      To be honest, most of the popular Chinese breakfasts are time-consuming and pretty complicated to make. There is not that much time to make it in the busy morning so we normally just buy it on the way to work. But it is nice to know how to make it. Hope you enjoy=)
