  • Gotham Chess just DESTROYED Hans Niemann in the 2nd most embarrassing chess match of all time!
And we BOTH know what the #1 spot goes to… (*cough* Magnus vs Hans *cough*)
In the game Gotham Chess opens 1.e4, and Hans Niemann trolls Gotham with Gotham’s favorite chess opening - the Caro-Kann Defence!
Of course, Gotham sticks to his gameplan of playing trash openings, and in this game he goes for the Fantasy Variation with 3.f3! However, to Hans Niemann’s great surprise, Gotham Chess goes on the attack and actually plays some pretty solid chess!
Make sure to watch till the end to see the dramatic conclusion to this game!
As Hans Niemann famously said after his clutch victory over Magnus Carlsen, “The Chess Speaks For Itself!”

Calling the fantasy variation trash is kind of crazy. What is your rating? Bet I could crush you repeatedly with this "trash variation."

🤣 I’m 2k online, I was half joking about the fantasy, but it’s not particularly good, in the game black missed an easy way to get a solid edge out of the opening, not exactly what you want as white 😁 and I love Gotham but he plays some questionable openings sometimes 🤣
And I’m not a caro-kann player so you would probably win 💀

Ok thanks for the feedback! Anything specific you wanted me to talk about? More moves / ideas, or less…?

You're a bit too intense when reviewing computer moves, comes off as arrogant like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Save your intensity for good moves made by the players. Also if someone is making a lot of "mistakes" would be interesting to hear a breakdown of how many they made were they mistakes or inaccuracies and how does that compare to their average play.

probably the worst chess match commentary ive ever watched. what is your elo. or are you just talking engine moves pretending there your ideas. physically cringed watching you pretend.

i recommend you to do less cutting in your edition to leave natural pauses between sentences and to give less intensity.
Sometimes less is better. it's just constructive criticism. i wish you the best. :)
