His story maybe about him but allow me to narrate another story. ☺️: Typically when a few people come and settle with a larger group in any country - they subscribe to the laws of that country or rules of behavior or conduct of the larger group of people. Look at any immigrant anywhere today. In India Muslims came as victors & as conquerors and settled down in India but they really did not subscribe to the rules of behavior or conduct of the larger group in India. Instead it has become a contest between religions in the sub-continent - the result was areas where they came to be in majority have become separate countries because of their different behavior and rules of conduct (as Muslims). In the India of today the population explosion of Muslims since 1951 has once again brought the competitive nature of Muslims of India. As their population rises the conflict with Hindhus in the form of a civil war is inevitable. The failure of India after Independence has been its lack of will to bring about total uniformity in rules of conduct and behavior amongst people of a region irrespective of their religion. Can this great assembly shed light on how and why successive Governments failed on all levels - Central, State, and Local? What is the course correction at this stage of independence? - Bharat Vij

As if Scientific or Global history does not have blindspots & have always credited exactly the correct individual for certain discoveries or inventions & then there are Nobel awards to add credence to the blindspots. P.S. Post colonial nations looked for golden age in past as a source of inspiration just like colonizing nations did during / since colonizations but it was allowed & to some extent justified in later case but was vilified in other cases.
