I've had one for 17 months now. It's fully Tegemented and still looks new. It's the watch that goes to the beach and in the sea so it has a tough life. It's incredibly comfortable to wear, is well within COSC and has the air of a bank vault about it. It's one of those watches that seems to me to be greater than the sum of its parts. Thanks for the video Mr Spring. 😀
Good job (as always) - think you captured the U50 proposition perfectly. Has effectively become my one watch as is just so wearable, legible and robust. Barring the few times a year when I have to wear shirt / suit etc when I wind up my Fears Brunswick is all the watch I need. And with all the talk of movements / cosc etc etc - I find like the example you tested mine runs about 2 seconds a day fast - well within any standards. I have the fully tegimented SDR version with bracelet but if ever get fed up - it seems to work with just about any strap you put it on. Anyway, again thanks for another good video.
Thanks Robin :) its a super watch you have there and I think its going to be a big hit for Sinn down the line, and dare I say it an improvement on the older U1
Jason from Redbarbristol here. Great review Bazza 👍🏻. I haven't bought anything of note since my Heuer CS3110 but this U50 is THE watch I keep coming back to as my next main purchase.
Hi Jason :) good to hear from ya That Heuer you have is a very classy watch but I know what you mean about the U50 its a shame I didnt get to review it on the bracelet , Ps If you interested I've organising a Sinn event at Francis and Gaye of Coventry on the 2nd of April at 1 o'clock if you wanted to come along ?
@@ClickSpringReview I can't make it unfortunately but I do have a question. If I were to get the U50-T SDR (ie. Fully tegimented Steel colour with bracelet and the black bezel) would I be able to get a steel colour bezel as well?....to be able to swap about from time to time.

There’s no ‘L’ in Tegimented!! 😂 Great review though, thank you. I’m desperate for Sinn to release this in blue, as per the U1b but am not sure I can hold on much longer! The classic red/black colourway is such an iconic Sinn look that I’m torn! Keep the Sinn reviews coming! 😁👍
@@ClickSpringReview I do too. So far it looks to be a colourful year of releases, with Onega continuing Rolex’s trend from last year! I really hope this is the year for the U50b-t. I’ll be selling my Tudor BB58 blue if it is! 🤞😑
Agreed. I think this is a practical no nonsense dive watch. I have the black S version on the bracelet. Whilst I like the watch I’m not entirely sold on the H link bracelet. Feels a bit jangly. May take it off and put it on the silicon Sinn strap or a 3rd party one.
Good review. As for stiffness of the bezel, wouldn't that be a step backwards for Sinn as a tool watch? I've always understood the bezels were loose so they won't seize up with unwanted grit. I've actually experienced that with a nice, tight bezel, but I'm not sure if the loose bezel actually solves that, just something I've heard.
So since the bezel action in the u50 has become much better and more precise and tight than that in the u1 , so that means that finally sinn has admitted that the bezel action in the u1 was not good enough and needs improvement, as sinn watchmakers keep saying to customers that they made the bezel of u1 that way in purpose to allow the sand and debris to come out from the bezel , which seems that it was a bla bla piece of shit talking , as they have improved the bezel action in the u50 with more solid , tight bezel action with much much less back play .. I tried four u1's to try to find one with solid , tight bezel action with minimal back play and spongy feel ..
I wish this was true Sir the UX has a far superior bezel than the rest of the U series of watches , many other models from Sinn have much better bezel action and feel , I personally think the U50 bezel is ok its just not the best .
Hi Roger I've a video coming out comparing the U series watch in the next few weeks which addresses this , But I would say the U50 Bezel action is far better than the U1/2 as its very positive and firm but I still prefer the feel of the 60 click UX as its just a joy to use ,
Stop tempting me! If there was the blue dial variant I'd be buying right now. About 2 weeks after my 104 arrived Sinn released the 105 so I don't really want to buy the black dial variant when I can feel a blue version on the horizon... that being said I love the black dial version too... this could be expensive...
Did you like the review Travis ? I'm hosting a Sinn Event in Coventry next month of the 20th if the fan of Sinn you should come by , I'm hoping to have the new Le models

Lots of brands have one watch that's a flagship. Sinn have a few iconic pieces now.
Yep your right Stephen with the likes of the U1, U50 ,104 , to name a few

Planning to get the U1, but Sinn hit a home run with this smaller version.
