Theo has a way of disarming even the most famous of people. He makes the pod seem like you're just out back shooting the breeze with a friend. Like you could see Miranda was a bit guarded at first, but once she realised how goofy and genuine Theo was, she let her hair down and just was her ol' country self! Kudos to Theo 👏🏽

My Dad was a Performer and writer all his life. He rarely got choked up about any newer songs. But I will never forget the story he told me..He was driving in Tennessee going to a writing session and he heard " The House that Built Me" on the radio. He pulled over to the side of the Interstate and had to compose himself. THATS when you know you wrote an AMAZING song. When everyone stops what they are doing and just listens, and feels it. Turns out he knew one of the writers! (Shamblin) One of the few times he had EVER told me he was moved and felt seen while hearing a song! I heard that it was pitched to Blake originally but Miranda wanted it? Not sure but what an Amazing story and it totally helped Miranda become one of the greatest Country artists of all time!

I'm 43. I have a wife and 4 kids. There is no foreseeable future for us herein NC. Too much of the infrastructure and buisnesses and warehouses and homes just gone. Not sure about any sort of work or income potential. ... It's so much worse than just the damage. This one truly uprooted our whole lives, and now we just have to figure out what's next. Much empathy to everyone affected by the hurricanes. Gang gang
Lots of love. I know how difficult these times can be, and how lost and directionless the weeks after the storm feel. I also know there's not much that can be said, but if I can try, I'll share my experience: Having been through most storms to hit Louisiana in the last 40 yrs, and lost everything a couple times: don't dwell on what's gone or the support systems that will fail you. Find and appreciate every bit of positivity that you can, you're in this together with everyone affected by the storm and you will be amazed at the love and support you will provide each other. In tragedy, the best thing I've found is looking for the opportunity that is now possible because of your loss, no matter how small it may seem. Maybe it's the motivation to spend more time with loved ones, maybe it's moving, changing careers, starting an organization to help your community, etc. If you need a place to escape to gather your thoughts, the people on the Gulf Coast will make you feel at home. You will get through this. One day at a time. When you're feeling overwhelmed, take a deep breathe and just do something small. Don't underestimate the mental health impacts like PTSD, you're not alone and talking and sharing experiences and emotions will help everyone. I've been described a pretty stoic person, but it's wild seeing things like water filling up your house and washing away not only your things, but your entire life-plan and projected future. I'm sorry you're all going through this. I'd also like to share my favorite parable: A poor Chinese farmer loses a horse, and his neighbors come to commiserate, saying, “What bad luck!” The farmer responds, “Maybe.” The next day, the horse returns, bringing another stray horse with it. The neighbors exclaim, “What good fortune!” The farmer again says, “Maybe.” However, just as the farmer is about to use the new horses, his son tries to ride one and breaks his leg. The neighbors lament, “What terrible misfortune!” The farmer replies, “Maybe.” The following day, conscription officers arrive to draft young men into the army, but they reject the farmer’s son due to his broken leg. The villagers cheer, “What good luck!” The farmer simply says, “Maybe.”
So sorry. The entire nation, including the government, including the Red Cross and Salvation Army and all those NPOs, should be pouring out support of every kind: financial, material, spiritual, professional, personal, everything. And then we should reset to a decent, modern, civilized baseline where every one lives with the security of knowing needs are supplied, as a given, via a UBI. Which is why I will be writing in my vote in November for Andrew Yang. I would much rather throw away my vote on a true solution finding businessman than on a puppet or a clown. Sending much love and prayers to NC from CA. ❤

If there is a kinder human on the planet, please show your face. Theo is so good at this. Just a kind person asking questions. Thanks for the interview. Miranda is a gorgeous and talented woman. Cool to hear what she has done so far, with much more to come. Well done to both.
I am a big fan of you both, when I realized you were on this podcast I said now this will probably go over like a fart in church 😂 Knowing Miranda does not do a lot of talking shows! I will have to say this was one of my favorite episodes so far😂😂😂 I loved the two of you together and Miranda was so talkative and seemed to really enjoy being on the podcast .I laughed so hard at one point I fell out of my chair😂😂😂😂you two should do this more often 😂❤❤Miranda you seem so happy and at peace with your life! Honey you just shine like a new penny❤❤❤❤I love you both ❤❤Theo Von you rock, you are so funny to me😂Good looking as well❤Much happiness to you both❤
Thank God for artists like Miranda who are fantastic songwriters, but also realize it’s about cutting the best song, whether you wrote it or not. It’s a rare thing these days, and so appreciated…
the slight zest in Theo’s “oh my gawwd” always gets me 😂
It’s especially hilarious because it seems like the way folks from the South say “oh my god” always has a bit of zest because of our accent 😂 A southerner can’t say “god” without saying “gawwwd” 😅
This is a crazy guest to get for a long form podcast, whether you like her or not. Theo Von is quietly passing everyone by.
Awesome interview! I now like Miranda because of how Theo brought out her true personality!
I couldn’t click this fast enough!! You are doing the dang thang, Theo! Sooo happy for you!!!!
This is the best podcast Iv' listened to. Thank you for such great entertainment!
Them playing the "god gave me you" not on purpose was hilarious!!! 😂
Theo and Miranda are just two natural down to earth people that just get along .
Theo just continues to be great with so many different kinds of people. Very entertaining.
Such a great interview!
You both are so charming and authentic.
Great chemistry here, banger of an episode🔥
Few minutes in, she is awesome. Never heard of Miranda Lambert, yet from her personality I'm definitely playing some of her country songs ❤
I want to go to lunch with you two!! I love the lack of ego and the authenticity between you two.
Aww I love all the 🐴Horse appreciation talk . Horses are amazing, as long as someone carefully worked with them and trained them early. I was a city girl who moved out to the country and a guy invited me riding, the horse didnt need much input from me at all and it was so much fun 😊
The Blake Shelton song moment was amazing 😂
You're on fire bro!. Keep it up!!
perfect start to my day
I know I’m late to the party y’all! But Lordy I’m so glad you had Miranda Lambert on❤ y’all were cracking me! I Lol so hard about the last video her saying your DMs y’all are funny! Laughter is healing and being a mother to 8 kids Thank you for making this mama heart full!! Maybe next time do a couple video with her and her hubby that’d be fun 😊
I came here after seeing Graeme O'Neil mention about Miranda reaction to Blake wedding song and I still can't stop laughing...
This whole interview is sooo funny loved
It!!❤❤😂
Needed this podcast today. Miranda is amazing! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Is this a podcast or a country song waiting to happen?
Dough wizard😂. Only Theo can come up with that
No way son❤️🔥. Can’t lie her voice melts my heart 🙂
I absolutely loved this ❤️Theo should have Kacey Musgraves on sometime!
