Wow. You’re a legend. I’m going to show this to my 13 yr old who loves to sew. I think it will motivate her. Have you thought of buying an industrial machine? I bought a secondhand Juki and it is amazing but it also automatically cuts the thread! This would save you time and wastage

It’s cool seeing your method of making scrunchies for your business! I haven’t seen the elastic ends glued together! I have tremors and my hands will just drop and let go of things so sewing over the elastic is a nightmare for me! I’ll have to try this the next time I make some! I love that you use thicker elastic also! I already had tons of the 1/4 inch elastic from mask making and the scrunchies just seem to slip out of my insanely thick hair. I’m going to pick up some elastic the next time I’m at the store!
@@harmonydevaney8940 I did make some and it was so easy doing the elastic. I have really bad tremors in my hands that make everything insanely difficult. But gluing the elastic was so much easier! I did use 1 inch elastic and based on the results I believe it’s too thick. I also used non roll elastic. It doesn’t stretch much. I’m not sure if it’s the right type of elastic for my hair. I have insanely thick and coarse hair. I’d say try out different elastics and widths.
To help streamline your gluing process place the bottle upside down in a glass with a damp paper towel in the bottom. It will save you time with trying to get the glue to come out. The wet towel will stop the glue from leaking and messing up the glass.
