Office Hours Live is a weekly call-in show with Tim Heidecker, DJ Douggpound and Vic Berger (aka the holy trinity). Every episode is a wild audio-visual journey with drops, live music, and Tim's rants and riffs on life, music, politics, his kids and whatever else is happening in his life (and the lives of our callers). Special guests have included Jack Black, Fred Armisen, John C. Reilly, Chelsea Peretti, Weyes Blood, Reggie Watts, Bob Odenkirk, Thundercat and more.
It is with profound sadness and regret that I riffed into a bit that had already been sorta handled but in a different way on Curb Your Enthusiasm. There's no excuse for this. In the future, we will be sure to have a Comedy Encyclopedia on hand to verify and confirm that all the improvisational routines we come up with on the spot are totally original. We appreciate your scolding!
What’s the deal with sarcasm?
"Stop laughing, it's not funny." - Jerry Seinfeld in his Kramer related Letterman appearance
thank you tim
Okay, but really, have you seen these airplane peanuts?
Shame on you Tim! Very sad!
Best part is during the apology when Kramer refers to black people as “Afro-Americans” and the studio audience is like “pfffft lol what?”. And Jerry has to be like “It’s not funny 🤫”
That one was peak cringe, I do recall that, yes
Apparently Seinfeld had never seen the show because Letterman audiences laugh at the weirdest stuff
same thing happened when letterman came out saying he had affairs with his staff crowd reacted the crowd laughed and letterman had to say "this is serious" and still the crowd felt confused as to how to react
@@oui2611 and mr rogers too
@@oui2611 lol, then that Letterman is a goddamn fool, or has no idea how to connect with a normal sentiment.
I thought curb handled it pretty well
@@teevee23 I thought it was a whole season!
Please do a whole Seinfeld remake Tim apple
Just one full episode. That's all, I'm not greedy.
"Stop laughing, it's not funny."
So many questions we never contemplated back then
Tim’s Kramer is hilarious
Without Michael there’s no Seinfeld.
‘Something is going to happen’- Jerry Seinfeld
WWIII
The day of reckoning is coming, stay tuned
The messiah
We need a reboot of the first coming of Christ with Tim playing the savior.
The genius of Seinfeld was that the titular character (who was a comedian within the shows unaverse) was the only character on the entire show that wasn't at all funny.
You should have watched. You’d know that’s not true at all
What's the DEAL with GARAGE remotes??
@@tonyc8752I can kinda see what this person is saying. He was for sure put in funny situations, but compared to the rest of the cast he rarely did something ridiculous to counter the whacky situations.
His stand up bits are embarrassingly bad. Yet the show itself is amazing.
@@tonyc8752 "You’d know that’s not true at all"
It is, though. Everything around him is funny, which sometimes may come off as _him_ being funny.
-“he said the n-word??”
-“he said the n-word! The n-word was said!”
Kramer bursts in:
-“Jerry, I said the n-word.”
yes we all watched the video too
They already did it on Curb
Tim didn't defeat the candyman...
Seinfeld reboot but straight up have Zack Fox replace Michael Richards as Kramer and his first line is just the n-word 17 times in a row.
Wish there was more Beef House... or basically any to that extent with Tim and Eric.
Bagboy Season 2 before anything else.
I'm sure they'll be doing something together again at some point. If I had to speculate, I would say that SO many shows, comedians, TH-camrs, etc., etc., have ripped off their style at this point that I imagine they're trying to come up with something that defies certain expectations of what they would do. They still do "their thing" like nobody else does, of course ("Bedtime Stories" was incredible) - but I imagine that whatever they do next won't be exactly what they've done before. In the meantime, Tim's work on TH-cam, from the brilliance of "On Cinema" and that whole arc of his alter-ego character and its "spin-offs", to everything else he's been doing, has been a thrill to watch. And Eric's been involved in multiple projects both behind and in front of the camera. These two guys are national treasures, so whatever they decide to do next, whether together or not, is a gift - and considering that Tim's been releasing the staggering amount of work he's been doing for FREE to fans, is just amazing. I honestly think Tim, alone, deserves some kind of Comedy Pulitzer for the "On Cinema 'Universe'" stuff, alone. To me, he's gone beyond Andy Kaufman with those pieces. It really is remarkable.
@@Teeveepicksuresbagboy season 1 we only got a dog drang prilot
You really want more beef house? They milked all they could out of that format and wrapped it up nicely, that would be the last content I would request lol.
I'm a BagboyHead from way back, but we totally need some more of the Beef Bros.@@Teeveepicksures
2009 Curb Your Enthusiasm with Seinfeld reunion, stole your idea.
I forgive you Michael.
It's gonna be a superbowl commercial
Michael Richards is a legend
-arily bad disingenuous apologizer. We love you, Kramer. But you are a bastard. Kramer vs. Kramer. LOL.
Jerry doesn't fly off the handle when people ask him which way is Israel.
Tim, your beef with Jerry Seinfeld must be squashed. You two have to do a tour of America together and you have to kiss
I remember how this "incident" at the Laugh Factory had Paul Mooney come to Richards' defense, but also ended Mooney's goal/intention of ending the word's hateful power by keeping it in the lexicon. That this ended the whole "if you say it with a soft a" nonsense.
Paul Mooney never defended Michael Richards, go listen to his stern interview right after the incident
Seinfeld said many times in many interviews
that he would never do a reunion or reboot 🙄
But they did on curb your enthusiasm
@@aperezdealYeah and I remember a bit where JS was like “but how is it not going to be _lame?”_ Or words to that effect. I predict the reality of a reboot may show us why it can’t be anything but. In Curb you saw snippets of a show - I think that’s how they made it look like it could work. Full length is setting itself up for sporadic muted chuckles at best. Still, could be wrong.
$$$ and attention.
He perhaps is hungry for some.
There not remaking Seinfeld, they refused 20+ years ago for another season.
"Then... suddenly... IT HAPPENED!" - Admiral Benson
you got it
Do they really need the money that bad?
@firmamentsyndicate that’s what Larry David’s for
No reboot without Kramer! That incident destroyed his life and career and he has apologized profusely all these years. Let it go!
That's a shame
Not relevant, really, but I need a gear head to fill me in on those fender amps lol. They look vintage.
I'm more of a Gregg-head than a gear head.
I think it’s a Princeton combo and a Bassman head
@seanholloway2142 aren't the only Princetons that are that color from the 60s? That's pretty awesome, I'd like to hear it tbh lol
Air Bud 4 is a great movie!
Future is uncertain The Past is fading away . Kramer was show to me 😂
I was ghost fired from my community college planetarium job by a manager who brought german shepherds to work and dropped the hard R version of the N word in casual conversations. While occasionally talking to kids at the urinal about black holes and pulsars.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I still think Michael Richards was the funniest guy on that show and I obviously forgive him and as much as I dislike Seinfeld the comic, the DVD set has some of the nicest menu work I've ever seen.
You forgive him? I guess that's very big
of you, but it's not your place to forgive
him unless he harmed you in some way.
I get that horrible people can fly under the radar that guy sounds like a historical evil. Kramer seems like he could have found a way to get forgiven by those he offended. Loads and money and time on his hands. Maybe he has health problems IDK.
Wait what? 😂 that was confusing.
@mikejohnson3338 In that case, there was no need for Richards to apologize to anyone.
No one was hurt.
@@mikejohnson3338 your authority to limit forgiveness is limited to what you do. You don't determine who others forgive. #ESD
Morning
And a good morning to you my friend
I forgive him
I remember him on Fridays, a SNL ripoff. He played this child who fought wars with his toy soldiers. He was the best thing in that show. So sad he lost his mind in that standup fiasco.
Dick from Fridays should be forgiven.
His name says it all.
How long should the guy suffer for?
It was a faux/exaggerated outrage ad lib. Yes, inappropriate and went too far. But Richards isn't racist, nor meant any of it. Not sure it's fair to persecute a comedian in a live ad lib performance, even as bad as that was
Comedy gold!
I like the comedy fights.
Tim is a bad boy.
Can a master of socially awkward comedy go too far & bomb while improvising?
I played perhaps 50 bad notes while practicing playing backwards baratone harmony arrangements (that don't exist as parts) to my favorite tunes yesterday.
I bleed therefore I am only human.
[So f-word me for trying.]
You're right playing the wrong note is the same as calling someone the n-word.
@@GStarGoku3 If your eye offends you, pluck it out.
@@GStarGoku3It's a lot worse.
MORE BEEF HOUSE
0:37 😂
*stop laughing it's not funny*
Ohh god 😂 damn 😂😂😂😂
I bet it's edgy WW2 humor.
15 year old material now? I swear i heard these exact observations in 2006.
A friend of mine told an hysterical joke about Abraham Lincoln last weekend. I'll have him report to you immediately for violations of the LDR ("Laugher Duration Rule"), as it's vital that we maintain established time limits on laughter.
The apology still kills me 😆 another seinfeld blunder!
Jerry Seinfeld is painfully unfunny, I hate his stand up, please mimic him Tim
he just did in this video
@@TypoDiabetes im talking a full on spoof like the bill maher episodes
@firmamentsyndicate LOL yeah fr
Because it just doesn't get any more smug than Office Hours... unless they are spoofing something that's even more smug. But what could that be?
Tim H was part of some seriously great counter-culture TV back in the day, Now he's doing reaction videos, like some 14-year old? Ouch.
Rascist worlds are colliding!
Im very pro inward theres nothing to forgive 👍
I couldn't care less about Michael Richards and what he did 17 years ago. He's not out there burning crosses on black family's lawns, so let's get over it already. I do think Seinfeld coming back would be a huge mistake, though. It went out on such a high note, and everyone looks back fondly on the show. It was a great product of its time, and to bring it into the crapshoot that is the 20's would only ruin its legacy.
As much as I would love to have more Seinfeld to make fun of... I tend to agree. Part of the fun of watching Seinfeld reruns now is the hilarity of all the '90s references and fashion choices etc.
Okay ‘Johnny Crackers’
Cancel culture has gone mad with Kramer
Man Tim fell off hard
I miss on cinema at the cinema.
Apparently Kramer said today to, free Palestine! no coming back from that.
Michael Richard said some racist shit, but he can learn to be more understanding. Seinfeld groomed and dated a 17 year old when he was 38 and he has zero regrets on that one
Kramer did nothing wrong
"being a little bitch" is indeed something that qualifies as "wrong".
Louis CK screamed at an audience member at one of his shows that they were a N____? Please link to the footage. There's a difference between using a word - in context and tone - within a *routine* as part of a joke. Richards was calling an audience member a N___. Big difference, bud.@@JOHNSMITH-qr8cp
Aw mate said the "black people say it why can't I?" Come man that dont fly no more
@@415riderssBeing a little bitch is what happens when you lose your mind over a mean word.
Bring it back. Richards was responding to disrespectful hecklers. So what?.
Hahahaha!
Um.
