So glad you are starting to work with diy detail stuff and c6, they seem to be really great, but it's awesome to get a professionals take on it as well after everything you've worked with 👍

I LOVE Adams Waterless wash as well. I know you mix Adams Waterless wash with other things as well (Like in your glass cleaning video). I actually mix Adams Waterless wash with TEC582 detail spray 7:1 and use it as a drying aid. Just that small amount of TEC582 adds just a bit of extra protection and Waterless wash gives all the lubrication! I have my Model Y Performance coated with Gyeon Mohs EVO. Always love your input.

Using C6 mist on coated paint i didnt find I needed much when used it as a detailer at the end of a wash. One spray per panel felt like plenty

P&S Beadmaker is my go-to, after blowing most of the water off the car first. 🤜🏼

Great review and comparison. I use Adams Detail Spray each week as a drying aid. My understanding is it leaves very little behind and certainly not enough that would build up and cause problems down the road. My car is ceramic coated, my wife’s is not. It works perfect on both. Adams Ceramic Detail Spray is also a great product but, in the Phoenix heat, it streaks because of the ceramic in it so I use it in the winter months only.

Adam's is running a 25% off sale at the time I'm writing this comment. The sale puts a gallon of Waterless Wash at $29 and Detail Spray at $34. The issue I've been having with DIY / C6 is that their products are really expensive at 16oz. Yvan has said that you pay for performance but does C6 Mist give you 8x the performance compared to Waterless Wash and Detail Spray?
I really like DIY / C6 products but I wish they'd be a little more competitive with their pricing.

I use ONR with Caranuba, green liquid. I only use ONR if my car is only lightly dirty/dusty, never fully dirty. ONR green leaves a little protection and slick finish.

Talk about a rabbit hole of Waterless Wash and overlapping detail sprays I’ve used: TAC SYSTEM WATERLESS, LITHIUM GLOW MAXX WATERLESS, TURTLE WAX QUICK DETAILER etc.. There are sooooo many. For me if they streak just knock it down with water.

Thanks for the video Colton. Suggestion for the future, use less C6 Ceramics Mist. That bottle should do 20-30 cars

I want to try diluting mist with DI water, I like to spray liberally on panels. Thoughts?

If you are concerned about the ceramic coat and detail spray, then use Adam's Graphene Detail Spray. It can be used as a drying aid.

Colton, I use Sprayway window cleaner. Do you ever do that first and then do waterless wash? You probably do your foam soak but for someone that does not have that, is Sprayway a decent, cheap foaming cleaner for windows in between a full wash? And would you now try detail spray as another option? I use detail spray as my drying agent and waterless wash for my internal Rivian screens, which on your recommendation, works tremendously.

Have you ever noticed when cleaning a side class you can see spots in the glass, then after it dries you can't see them. Is there a good glass cleaner that can remove those spots.?

I notice that also, and as a full time mobile detailer I'd love to hear why too, it baffles me 😅

If you have a Matte/Satin finish car, then use Adam's Matte Detailer as your drying aid.

Nice video! I've been using the OG drying aid and it's been great. Nice slickness and gloss with minimal protection. Still need to try mist though.

So a product best utilized for ceramic coated vehicles having two steps in one even though drying a ceramic coated car alone is very easy with air. Sounds like the usual bs diy is feeding people for a $30 bottle 😂

Nope, just testing products to see what works best! As I said in the video… ALL the products have there place, and I’m likely going to use Adam’s Waterless Wash 90% of the time, which I purchase with my own money.
If a product sucks I’ll tell you, like I have in the past. If a product is great I will tell you, and be a customer of said company.
