I will personally vouch for "the stack". Takes the already impressive characteristics of 8-year coating to a higher level... Best of all coatings I've ever installed (dozens). Makes me wish I still had my detailing business going so I could try out the new C6 coatings though 😂
I'm impressed with the levels of gloss, beading and sheeting from the 'stack'. This looks amazing and I'm impressed from the screen I'm watching it on.
The stack is an awesome coating and I cannot believe how clean the Spark was before you washed it. Normally the Spark would have looked grey and dull. Ceramic gloss does smell amazing! Thank you for the video.
This is exactly how I've been washing my cars with all this rain. People think just cuz it says "rinseless" you don't rinse but if it's dirty, rinse then proceed as normal.
Hi Yvan, I was at your meet and greet at The Bays in Wheeling, IL last weekend. Very informative. I picked up your DIY sponge. Looking forward to trying it out this weekend.👍
During my rinse less wash, the water left on the paint still looks dirty. Is this normal? Will it scratch the paint during drying? Thanks! Love the stack!
Does Nebraska seriously spread fly ash as an ice melt on the road? I'm very interested in that. Here in PA , Cambria county is the only county around that does this. Other counties do not because it is a carcinogen and filthy. Several states around PA, use Cambria county roads to dispose of their fly ash \ coal burning waste product.
Not being from Nebraska, I don’t know. But here’s a video of a car that was pulled through a snow storm from Chicago to Atlanta. How to clean a Salty car -- without a hose! Rinseless Wash tutorial. #diydetail #salty #dirty th-cam.com/video/uryuer3NuLM/w-d-xo.html
I did the stack on a black car. I did the 8 year coating, went to lunch and a few hours later i started to apply the 3year coating. On the hood there was a section where at the moment I touched the car with the 3 year coating it went hard and smeared. It was crazy didn’t had any more of these sections where it went that way. I polished the section to get rid of the scratches and tried again with the 3 year coating. Didn’t work and started to get hard and scratches again. Polished again and put the 8year coating on the section without any issues further. Don’t know what went wrong
@@diydetailofficial hard to believe because that weekend was it a nice sunny weekend here in Belgium. If that would be really the problem then we can't use it at all. Next time I try to get it on camera instead of starting to panic 😅😅😅
Let's say I prefer suds. Could I use rinseless as a pre treat, rinse, then spray on rinseless for lubrication before I go in with a mitt and soap like incredible suds?
Is there a way to tell if a car has a ceramic coat or not? I just bought a red 2019 Silverado and its really glossy but has swirl marks. I want to polish them away but worried I'm going to take away the ceramic coating if any. Not sure if it just comes that shiney or not
So I’m getting my car ceramic coated, they did most of the car today, the rest tomorrow. Some half of the car will have 2 days to cure, the other half one, now how do I go about the curing process after I receive the vehicle? I’m so paranoid that the pollen will ruin or get stuck in the coating once it hardens… I don’t have a garage or anything with temperature control or coverage to the sun. All I have is a car cover but I was told it can ruin the coating if it rubs it.. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!
@@diydetailofficial they claim to be using a 5-7 year coating. So I shouldn’t have to worry about letting it sit outside for 7 days? And if the job was done right it should hypothetically have no damage to the coating, and or paint?
I really want to believe that rinseless is a good, safe, and effective product but I scratched the f*** out of my car trying it out the other day. :( I've already polished my car a few times over and I'm not sure how much clear coat I have to work with now. I should get a meter.
@diydetailofficial I used an APC as a foam pre soak and rinsed thoroughly after dwelling for one minute. I then pre sprayed DIY Detail Rinseless Wash over the car before grabbing the sponge. I didn't use any pressure. I switched sides of the sponge between panels before dunking back in the bucket. I made sure the sponge wasn't overloaded/sopping wet with rinseless. Once contact wash was complete, I used a ceramic detail spray to dry/protect.
@@diydetailofficial Well... whether it was my fault or not, there must be a reason why I can see the path of sponge on my hood. Maybe I didn't use enough rinseless.

The Stack really is awesome! You can still try Hydro Lite when it comes out

I ordered the stack yesterday to put in my wife’s and my car. I’m pretty excited

Thankyou to Yvan, from over here in the UK, for constantly reminding Nick that we use metric over here and 4ml to the L for rinseless is how we roll.
Being Canadian we are measurement bilingual.
The stack did phenomenal during the winter in Quebec. A wise man once said coating makes a car Shinier Cleaner Longer!
sounds about right!

The perks of a coated car. It would make cleaning clients cars a lot easier and quicker.
I totally agree!
Can you stack the 8yr with the 5yr? What would be pros vs cons of doing that?
Yes, absolutely no advantage
Wow!! 💯💪🏼
Thank you.
Awesome video 👍. Can I apply it to glass as well!
Yes you can!
Do you need to soak those drying towels now that they have ceramic gloss on them?
When you’re done drying, soak them in your wash bucket a few minutes.
I have a similar situation. After having paint work done on a 2019 Bullitt how soon can I wash the car and coat it with the stack?
Most people will say 30-60 days but you should ask your painter to be sure
You’re painter will be your best resource
Which is going to be better? The stack vs the new Consumer C6 coating
C6 Ceramics Hydro
@diydetailofficial what about the stack vs Hydro light? Thx
Is there a "cure time" for ceramic gloss where it shouldn't get wet?
1 hour
@@diydetailofficialand one week before a full chemical wash correct?
It's not weather though. It's the ice melts, brines, and like on our county fly ash which turns into a cement like layer.
Like what this went through, it drove for a week in a stormy week in Nebraska
