So nice to see another General Motors guy.. In high school I had a Sunbird with American Racing wheels and then started obsessing over Rick Dobbertin's J2000 and bought a hatchback four years later. Since I was heavily invested into the jbody community I upgraded to third gen Cavalier a decade later where I discovered Toyota Cavaliers. Fast forward I picked up a dream car a few years ago and got myself an Ion Redline Comp which is a lot of fun. This ignited my love of detailing again where I decided to branch out from Meguair's and learned about Griot's, Adam's and then Obsessed Garage. Once I use up my Bead Maker I plan on trying the OG Drying Aid but I have to say the Bead Maker/Paint Gloss/Dream Maker combo is legit. I'm trying to blast through Griot's Spray On Wax with my daily driver before I play around with Koch Chemie Hand Wax.

Would be interesting to see if Mohs rejects any of them. But it does give a really good shine and slickness. Ceramic coatings are amazing but for people who enjoy maintaining and fettling with their car each week it does have draw backs. I guess both of these products won't clog the properties of Mohs for too long and still gives you something to perfect on the weekend. My friend has 2018 BMW M2 in that amazing blue, I think its Long Beach blue and has just discovered Griot's 3 in 1 on bare paintwork and it pop's, he's overwhelmed by the results. I've always been curious about slick and slide myself and might pick up a bottle to try. I think Prestige car care shop (UK's importer) has 20% off until this evening to celebrate the Queens platinum jubilee.

I have Topper, Slick and Slide, and OG drying aid by the gallon. I ended up throwing out the OG drying aid because it started to gum up in the gallon bottle and 3 spray bottles. The spray bottles also had to be thrown out because of how bad it gummed up.
Topper and Slick and Slide have to be shaken but they don’t get gummy like OG. All were in stored in my garage and months later Topper and Slick/Slide are fine

Xtreme Topper is the same as OG Drying Aid right? So technically all three (Adams included) are the same product relatively speaking.
I bought Slick n Slide 2 years ago and tried it once and was immediately let down. I found that it wasn't as slick as Bead Maker or Duragloss Aquawax which at the time were the two slickest spray solutions I've used.
Fast forward to today and I just got my hands on Topper and after using it a few times I'm really happy with the slickness. I'd say it's on par with BM and Aqua maybe a notch better.
Could the blend in my Adams bottle be different than what is bottled today? Perhaps it's better now who knows. But I figured I would share my experience.

Mike as per your recommendation I tried out ECH20 as a drying aid at 15 :1 (because I felt your 20:1 preference might not give me the gloss and depth I was after. After using it at 15:1 I found it very streaky compared to my previous go to (beadmaker) and I found the gloss, depth and slickness were nowhere near as good. Any tips? I should also mention that the car was blown off and is coated in optimum gloss coat, there was very little water left on the car and I was using a twist pile towel with a couple sprays per panel. Now I am thinking of just going back to bead maker or trying out slick & slide. What are your thoughts?
