I agree with how well this car has aged. I am not a big BMW expert, so I was surprised this model is 13 years old.

I have this car, purchased/ordered in late 2003 and picked up in May 2004. It has 5-speed manual transmission and 84,000 miles on it. I still love this car as much as I did in 2004. It is enormous fun to drive and still looks beautiful (garaged). Every time I think of getting something newer, somebody talks me out of it. (The only "problem" I have had is that the young runners who bring the cars around when I go for inspection don't know how to drive stick. Pathetic. 🙂)

I love my 2006 325 ci bought it for really cheap 3.5k
now I need to change my oil soon, and change the air filter. This car is worth it. The only down side I dont like my care is that its auto and a Manuel, I personally wanted a full Manuel.

@@aaronespinoza6626 I currently don't have it as i have sold during the mid of covid, I had it for 6 years. If you keep up with the oils and coolant, it really helps to prolong the engine. Yes, maintenance is a little bit more extra, it is nothing like a honda civic or a toyota coralla. If you do it yourself, that will save money the long run, and if you are know what you are doing such as dealing with the VANOS. I say get a old BMW the non turbo engines, anything before 08 or 09. Ride it as a sunday drive, save some money, and get a civic, for your daily drive. MOST IMPORTANT, always enjoy the car dont do it to impress your friends, and even race.

Scan the car with a BMW scanner. INPA recommended. It will tell if any sensors are failing. Check all vacuum lines. Failing intake or exhaust cams and failing DISA can cause significant increase in fuel consumption.
