Eric made the build up version that leads to the big finale while ryan arranged the epic battle itself. I personally thing ryan won this round but both versions are really good. Great job you two.
"Foolish boy! Don't you know who I am?? I am Ganondorf, and I will soon rule this world!" So impressed dude. A masterclass not just in Ganon's theme but in theme and variation in general. I'm gonna learn this (VERY slowly) and terrorize all my friends with it :) Thanks so much for the synesthesia
I believe that high beginning part is from Twilight Princess or at least it gives me the vibes! 😄 That part when you make the left hand sound like a heart beat is pretty neat! 👍👏👏
I loved both of these, but if I were to guess… I’d say that this one is better. It just seems a bit more powerful and threatening, which is what I think this theme is all about. I really loved the discordance, especially with the left hand. It added a really cool ominous effect. I’m not sure if I’m explaining this very well, but I thought that this one kind of said a bit more about Ganon as a character. Anyway, seriously good work! You guys always inspire me to keep practicing. Keep it up 👍
Take 3:02 to 3:44 and loop it that’s definitely a boss battle but overall fantastic piece I agree with the before statement as this seems to be more of the during the battle piece whilst Erik is more heading to the boss piece.
Came here fomr the Eric one and thought without a doubt you cannot top this, but I preferred this tbh. I can't put my finger to it, but this gave me much more of a Zelda franchise vibe (Not only the TP parts.) and that one more of the OoT one. Anyhow, you surely got my sub and cannot wait for your videos, thank you.
Appreciate your comment:) I put a lot of heart into this one, and I feel that anything on par with my good friend Erik is definitely a compliment. I hope I can live up to your expectations!
I'm putting my money on you, really enjoyed the different variations of the theme. I like that the melody was a bit different than the original, and I loved the part where you incorporated the Main Theme but flattened the last (few) notes! The intro was great, and it was nice that it adventually returned back there. Excellent job man!
If you took out a couple parts from Erik’s and yours, mashed them together , you could possibly mash the two together and get the the full ganons tower and fight, as I would say at around 1:30 to 2:00 could be like his monologue, so you would have most of Erik’s as the ascent, the monologue, and the fight. It’s kind of hard to pinpoint where to go from one to the other though cuz it’s two different styles. On a side note, I just love the dark main theme part and the TP reference Edit: Better idea, the little high note part at the beginning would be as you enter the room, and from there would be the monologue. That little thirty seconds I mentioned would be like him standing up getting ready to fight you and unleashing his magic
After Pachacamac and the echidna tribe attacks his own daughter and the Chao to stealing the power of the Chaos Emeralds to bring his wife's life back, and Chaos sealed and wiped the echidnas into the Underworld. Pachacamac have the dark power to exact revenge at his daughter to become the chief as the Demon King.
I'm not normally the person to do this, but it looks in multiple spots in your video like you've increased the speed 150% of the recording. As an animator, I'm 80% sure you did.

I like that visual! Thanks for commenting!
Love the variety of tunes/motifs weaved throughout this nightmarish take on Ganon's theme. One of your best arrangements imo.
Thanks! One person suggested that your theme covered trekking up the tower and mine was the encounter at the top, I thought that was great analogy!
@@RyanZPianoGuy great analogy.
You two are the best 👏👏👏💜
Us:"So which game will you be basing Ganon's theme?"
Ryan: "Yes"
Okay I'll take it 😁
Haha exactly my thought process 🤣
What a piece! Now you just need a organ and a deep menacing laugh! 😏
I should swap out the piano sound and upload an organ version!
@@RyanZPianoGuyyes please!

My pleasure!!
OK but this is definitely the winner. Both are excellent but this takes the cake.
Thanks for your feedback and for watching both! 😄

Yes that beginning was Twilight Princess inspired good call!

Thanks for the analysis, I understood it well!
Really enjoyed both versions, but I definitely prefered your interpretation, very well done :)
Thank you! Appreciate you listening:D
Who’s arrangement reigns supreme? Go and watch Erik C ‘Piano Man’s version here and let us know: th-cam.com/video/VNgWayaFVIA/w-d-xo.html
This was a close round of VERSUS if I do say so myself. We took very different approaches to the theme here.

Fantastic arrangement as always, you gotta love those juicy chords! Also the 4:08 segment with all the right hand jumps was incredible!
Super fun part to play, but I honestly was worried I was going to botch that part 😅
I saw all those notes falling and thought, oh he did this part as a duet with himself, right? Oh. No, he didn’t. Epic!

Absolutely wonderful, what a rendition and what an hommage ♥
You should play this every time your friends come over so you can have the Ganondorf at the organ reveal
Haha amazing 😆
This one just sounds so menacing. It’s pure evil put in musical form.

That would be an epic cover
This is absolutely incredible
This medley of all those themes is absolutely fire 🔥 well done!!! 🤩
Thanks! 😁
I like a lot your version Ryan
Thanks:D
Real talk though do you think you'd be able to beat Ganondorf in a piano off?
🤔 hmmm I’m not sure especially when just sits up in his tower all day, I’m sure he plays a lot to help with boredom
C’est la musique de la tour de Ganon, dans Zelda wind Walker celle-là
anyone else feel like they're being chased starting at 2:32 ? no? just me?
It does give those vibes huh 😆
It seems like a similar pattern to the Guardian Stalker theme, right?
"how many times have you listened to this?"
me : yes.
+1 for Ryan
that 2:51 part was fckin epic
That was amazing, thanks you for your amazing cover except maybe one time when it becomes to much demonic to play by a simple mortel xD
this is what i imagined it to sound like just if i could play whats in my head lol i cant even play song of storms the easy song of storms rn 😂
Subbed, who couldn't submit after that decadent tour de force?
We won’t know all the answers in this lifetime
ganondorf but drunk👍
amazing cover !
Haha why drunk?

I can assure you I did not, however I’m curious as to where you think that’s the case 🤔 then have you watched other videos of mine and felt similarly?
fuck those octaves, nice job but I'm not gonna learn this one with my small hands lmfao
Such weird chords!
They’re fascinating!
