I was so disappointed the totk ganon wasn't the same guy but a reincarnation.. still a good ganondorf, but it would be so much more impactful imo if it was the same guy who just refuses to die after millenia

Ganondorf theme is pretty iconic, but the Ocarina of Time Inside Ganons castle and Twilight Princess Castle are the most terrifying and actually get you feeling ready for the epic final battle of each game!
Same they both give off the epic build up tone to the final battle with Ganondorf
One thing worth mention on Twilight Princess: when you enter at Hyrule Castle, plays the castle theme.
But, as you progress the castle going to the top, the music starts to change to Ganondorf's theme.
Marvelous.

@@TwiliiPrincess It's not a remaster but a remake, and alot of the tracks sound more muddy and chaotic with leitmotifs not resonating as strongly as they should, I think. Ninty shoulda gone with the Windwaker HD treatment for Twilight Princess HD where they keep the compositions and base instrument samples but rerecord what counts.

I’d more say Battlefield of Demise. It’s one of very few Zelda songs that actually strikes fear in me
The way rhe flute sets the creepy tone and then ganondorf's theme completely dominates it the higher up you go is amazing.
The fact that Bellum is the only non-Ganon boss to feature this theme makes me think that they're hinting at Bellum being the only other non-Ganon boss who is a manifestation of Demise in the same way that Ganon is. This is GANON's theme after all.

Playing the OOT back then on 5.1 surround was a treat back then. The game wasn't encoded for 5.1 but still climbing Ganons tower sounds awesome on surround as his organ gradually increases volume the higher you ascend the tower. Brilliant way to capture the atmosphere when you think of how limited 64's hardware really was
OOT on N64 had exceptionally immersive lighting. You could *feel* the morning dew when the sun rose. The color grading, saturation levels and contrast were also perfect in my opinion, giving areas like the thriving Hyrule Castle Town a fantastical but believable atmosphere, with the harsh sunlight and cast shadows.
I've been learning how to play this on electric keyboard. I like how suspenseful it sounds.

what i like about ganondorf's theme is how it's gradation is a representation of his power, always increasing. It makes for a truly fitting theme that is simple yet very scary. It like with every repetition of the 2 main notes, you see more and more of the beast.

One thing I love about Age of Calamity and partially BoTW is that they manage to shove in Ganon’s theme everywhere.
Any form of ganon has the theme, even the guardians across hyrule.
Inside Ganon's Castle is a fucking banger, god that shit is intimidating.
The way the backing music ramps up is killer. It reminds me of the standard dungeon music from LoZ too.
One thing I love about Ganon’s original theme from ALLTP is that it’s timing is unsettling; especially the ending. The alternating notes speed up and don’t match the timing-which has the effect of making you feel uneasy in a way that’s lost in OOT and beyond.
I love how the first OOT on is a mix of the iconic Ganondorf leitmotifs and the Great Sea song.
Such a great and memorable theme!

Ganondorf's dead for good by that point in that timeline, and Bellum doesn't seem to have any relation to him. Using a character's defined leitmotif is generally code for "this character is involved" even if they're not physically present, so it's weird that it's played with zero significance behind it.

Oh there is definitely a reason. When there is thunder and rain and the sky is dark in wind waker, it plays Ganondorf’s theme, so the fact it plays in Phantom hourglass is just a reference to that moment in Wind waker.

In the context of the game (in the first use) was to tell how Link previously fought him in Wind Waker, in the second one is just to show

Only thing that happens whenever Ganondorf turns into "Ganon" is his intelligence and sanity is consumed by his Hatred and rage towards Link, Zelda, the 7 Sages, etc. which in turn makes him evolve into a mindless, beastlike pig monster powered by Hatred. Only real difference between Ganondorf and Ganon i would say would be the loss of his intelligence in favor of pure raw power to fight Link. They are both equally evil regardless.

I know these aren’t cannon but you forgot about Hyrule warriors and Cadence of Hyrule.
Neither is Hyrule Warrirors: Age of Calamity according to it's article at the Zelda wiki:

Seeing as the game is very inconsistent in regards to the Lore from Breath of the Wild and the story of the game is riddled with plotholes when it comes to "egg guardian's" timetraveling(he brings characters from a future timeline he never even gets to experience himself in order to save the day yet doesn't bother to bring the AoC Champions to his own original timeline in order to save his original Zelda) it's only fair that we wait until either Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma himself or Nintendo to come out and confirm Age of Calamity is indeed canon to the rest of the Zelda timeline.

It's called a Leitmotif. Meaning a specific chord progression in a song is played in various other songs in the game or amongst a series or franchise of games (in this case. It happens in almost all media that has an OST). It makes a song associated to a person, place, or thing/setting. In this case, the reason Ganondorf's theme sounds so similar to each other is so even if you're an OG fan or a new baby fan to the Zelda franchise, you'll know "Aw shit, here comes the bad guy Ganondorf/Ganon" when you hear that specific chord progression 👍🏾
